Easiest Way to Create and Support a Web Page
It has been great, and I Really recommend Everyone to use Wordpress to create any kind of Web Pages.
Pros
That You have everything at a Hand, if you need something, it is almost likely that it is already done by someone else and you download the plugin and done.
Cons
That sometimes in Upgrades it get really annoying because some plugins stop working and you need to wait until everything is upgraded/updated.

A Great Solution for Experts and for People who don't know a single line of code
Wordpress saved me a lot fo time in developing not only websites, but also platforms with complex services for various clients.
Pros
WP, for those who need more than a blog, is downloadable and installable apart from Wordpress.com. Is totally customizable, constantly updated and have a HUGE community and a very rich documentation.
Cons
The fact that there are so many thir party plugins around, means that at every update we need to be very careful to not break anything because of incompatibility problems. Also, the more plugins one install the more slow our website become. Sometimes is difficult to find a issue, and the debug steps requires to literally shut down the website deactivating everything. The security can be improved by default, instead of forcing a user to move and hide things around only after installation and manually.

Wordpress as a Designer/user
It was neutral to positive experience for me using wordpress. Since I have an engineering and programming background I was able to do quite a bit in a short amount of time. It is a great platform to use for someone who is looking to just have a simple website with basic information and nothing complex. I think it is very intuitive and useful for bloggers.
Pros
I used this software to build a website for a Non-Profit foundation for some fundraising events. I got an account with Bluehost server and wordpress was included in it. For someone who has never built a website before, wordpress did make my life very very easy. It has numerous features that can definitely help a novice like me get a basic website up and running. I enjoyed the following things while using this
- Themes
It comes with some basic theme templates which can be used to build the website. Just fill in some information that relates to your website and it will populate it. Think of it as a powerpoint template with boxes and design
- Easy to upload pictures
I was able to create folders and stores pictures on there and name them accordingly so I can go back and use them on different pages.
- Widgets and Plugins
The main attraction for this software platform I believe is their built in widgets and plugins. You can download from so many options. It is kind of like exploring the app store on your phone. Since it is an open source lot of users create their own widgets and plugins which are either free or you can purchase it. Needless to say purchased ones are much better but I got by with all free ones.
- Edit code
yes if you are a very savvy css html developer and you understand the code, you can go in and change their code and make adjustments.
Warning: Don't mess with it if you don't know what you are doing
Cons
The cons that i noticed in my website after it went live was
- Speed
The website was just slow. I am not sure if it is because of the widgets and plugins running on wordpress but I hated the speed.
- Updates could ruin website
Their themes get constantly updated so if you do not update it properly or if the new build released has a bug on it, it could mess up certain things on your website. This happened to many times where the plugins that worked fine on the older build wouldn't work the same on the new.
- Time consuming for beginners
Yeah it's not as simple as I was expecting it to be. I did spend quite an amount of time understanding the features and how to make best use of them. It was a lot of trial and error so be ready to put in some work at least.

"WordPress: Empowering Website Management and Content Creation"
My overall experience with WordPress has been highly positive. It has provided me with a robust platform to manage and create content for my website effectively. The extensive customization options and flexibility have allowed me to tailor my website to match my brand and meet my specific requirements. The seamless integration with various third-party plugins has enhanced my website's functionality and allowed me to streamline my business processes. While there may be a learning curve for beginners and occasional considerations for security and plugin compatibility, the benefits and features of WordPress outweigh these challenges. WordPress has been a reliable and powerful tool for website management and content creation, empowering me to establish a strong online presence and engage with my audience effectively.
Pros
WordPress offers a user-friendly interface and robust tools for creating, editing, and organizing various types of content, including blog posts, pages, and multimedia content.
Cons
beginners may face a slight learning curve, especially when it comes to more advanced customization and plugin management.

WordPress is an intuitive and easy to use platform.
The main argument in favor that I have of its use is its simplicity and ease of use. No deep technical knowledge is required to create a basic website with WordPress. The user interface is intuitive and friendly, allowing users to seamlessly create and manage their sites. There are thousands of themes available in the WordPress library that I use frequently, allowing me to choose from a wide range of styles and layouts. In addition, there are numerous SEO plugins available that help improve optimization even further.
Pros
WordPress is an intuitive and easy to use platform, which makes it ideal for beginners or anyone because it is also deep if desired. No programming or web design knowledge is required to easily manage, update and customize the site. As I mentioned, it is highly scalable, which means it can handle everything from small blogs to high-traffic websites with no problem. Also, new functionality and features can be easily added as the site grows.
Cons
The software regularly has updates to fix bugs and improve security, as as an open source platform, WordPress is an attractive target for hackers. However, these updates can be inconvenient and take time and effort to implement. And well, sometimes they can cause compatibility problems or even contain malicious code.

Wordpress saves time and makes updates easy
I spent many years coding websites using html and CSS. Many years ago, when I needed a simple site creating quickly, I discovered CMSs like WordPress and tried a few. The results weren't as polished back then as they are now, but the potential was huge. I continued using WordPress because it was free and well supported, and it is now my first choice when creating a new site.
Pros
I love the 'what you see is what you get' editing that Wordpress provides, but like knowing that I can also switch to full html/CSS code editing if I want to.
Cons
Because Wordpress allows almost infinite customisation through plugins, there is the risk of installing a badly written or not well maintained plugin, which could potentially affect your website negatively. Fortunately, plugins have a rating system and show the amount of active users to help with decision making.

Wordpress for your website, ecommerce or what you need to do online
For example, when I have needed a system to only make material available to members, I have been able to build it quite easily with Wordpress. The company's website runs on Wordpress. E-commerce runs with Wordpress and WooCommerce. There are times when a special system works better than a Wordpress site, but the possibilities are great with Wordpress at a reasonable cost.
Pros
The biggest advantage of Wordpress is the open source software that has made it possible for you to find all kinds of building blocks that you could possibly need. You can build a complete e-commerce site for free and you can build a support site for your company without it costing you a penny. The possibilities with Wordpress are practically endless. Its prevalence also makes it easy to find qualified professional help at a reasonable cost.
Cons
The open, free system also means that you are expected to take care of everything yourself - or, hire the knowledge.
So the threshold can be high for those who are not used to it, but help is available.

Wordpress is easier to work with and has a better library of free/paid plugins. Save on recurring fees.- Industry: Mental Health Care

Wish is was simpler to use
My overall experience with wordpress is good I still use it for my business, great features but a little to difficult to use especially for someone with little to no knowledge on designing and customizing a website for their business.
Pros
There are great features in Wordpress, the free website is very useful. I used the free and paid plans. I think wordpress for me the free website sometimes comes like a paid website I am still able to reach people, well maybe not as much as the paid website. But it is still very useful.
Cons
It gets a bit complicated to use at times. It took me quite sometime to actually figure out how to use it and I have and still use wordpress for 2 years and no doubt I still have a difficult time using it for my business.
Reasons for Switching to WordPress
To be honest although wordpress is a bit difficult to understand in the beginning. You are able to reach more people and acquire followers for my blog and I used it for free for quite some time until I decided to purchase one year plans. The free website is great as well I still get visitors and likes on my blog. As for the others that I have tried to use for free for a while it didn't give me the same experience or result I have with wordpress. I'm still learning wordpress and will still choose it over most website builders.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Best choice for a Content Management System nowadays
If used properly, as a classic CMS able to handle "classic" websites, news websites, simple ecommerce websites, Wordpress is the right choice. When things get harder, you would probably prefer to switch to other solutions.
Pros
Wordpress is broadly used. A massive amount of websites nowadays are based on Wordpress platform. This means you will always find someone able to use its CMS, develop new features for a WP based website, assess issues, etc. This is not true for any other available CMS.
The availability of a massive amount of plugins, and the ability to write your own pretty easily is a plus.
Cons
You can't rely solely on Wordpress for complex web projects. Trying to fit a complex web project in a Wordpress platform just because you want to use WP is a very bad choice (and unfortunately it happens quite often).
Documentation for developers is not always super clear.

an open source content management system (CMS)
While using this system one feels easier since most of the things are simplified. The system is free to install hence most of the people find it economical to use the system. The system has fewer cons compared to pros making it suitable to use.
Pros
WordPress is an open source content management system (CMS) that is free and it is usually based on MySQL and PHP. This system has features that include a template system and plugin architecture. This system is majorly used for blogging where the bloggers can use it in posting their blog on the social platform. There is about 60 million websites that use this system so that they can able to perform various functions. The web server is where WordPress is installed so that it can be able to function. Despite been used by many users, this system has its pros and cons that limit its usage.
The pros of this system are numeral in number. They include;
Good security due to updates
Good performance
The system is Mobile friendly
It is cheaper to use the system
Most of the sites use WordPress
This system has good and efficient updates. The updates are usually rolled out in CMS this helps in enhancing the security of the stem making it very strong. The system is designed with minimal code that makes the system load quickly minimizing the time taken to load. The themes in WordPress are integrated such that they can be able to show on mobile devices. These themes make mobile users enjoy different themes in the system. Installation of this WordPress in the server is totally free. This makes it cheaper to a majority of the people who would wish to use it. Most of the sites opt to use WordPress hence making it suitable to many users.
Cons
WordPress on the other has the cons that make it unsuitable to use the system.
The disadvantages are as follows;
There is a lot of updates
The site is prone to hacks
Planning is required
Updates do appear on these sites and this causes discomfort to the user such that he/she may be required to do some updates leading to loss of time doing these activities. This site is also prone to hackers who attack the system trying to access information from the system. Planning is required while using this system. One needs to organize on what activities to perform on this website and plan on the type of website to create.

A great self-hosted blogging system to power your site
I have started using Wordpress about a year ago to power my website as I did not have time to design it via code and i also did not want to have to pay for a developer. I installed a Bitnami AMI on an Amazon EC2 micro instance, and it ran very well and surprised me with the response times. Once i started looking at themes I found tons of really nice, visually stunning, and pixel-perfect themes, that once coupled with a few plugins, let me build a site that I still can't believe "I" made, and updating is easier than writing this review, I am serious. After I got my site up and running, I had a friend that wanted to make a social media site, so by using WordPress, the BuddyPress plugin, a social oriented theme and a few more plugins, we had a site that I personally think was easier to use and better looking than facebook, with the same features as facebook,, and offered full integration with facebook, linked-in, google +, and a few other sites. We were even able to offer webmail through the site, making it a one stop portal. We did this with 0 prior programming experience, for free.
Pros
It can be obtained and operated for 0 upfront and maintenance fees by using the AWS EC2 1 year trial, and is very easy to deploy onto a server, with images available to have you running with a few clicks. Wordpress is simple to use and administer, and amazingly powerful once you start looking into plugins, quite literally every idea you dream up has been put together with a plugin, you have the power to do so much with it. So, fast install, easy to use, VERY easy to administer and update, and extremely powerful.
Cons
Out of the box, wordpress is a blog, and it has just a cheapish, free software/shareware type feel to and is just bland, but with a bit of effort, it can be awesome. I wish they would include an easy to use theme maker for it, or offer a built in yearly theme that is more website oriented than just blog oriented, considering how many people use wordpress to power full sites.

Why I think everyone should be using WordPress
For any any start up I would recommend using WordPress its easy to use and it grows with you.
Pros
WordPress is 100% free!!!!!!
I have been using WordPress for years ( i.e WordPress.com and WordPress.org) back when I was junior systems administrator and now that I'm self employed, and I will tell you its ridiculously easy to use.
You don't need any specialized web development or programming skills to use it. Everything is almost plug and play. In fact if you can turn on a computer, If you and read and if you can click with a mouse, you can use WordPress. Its that simple and easy to use.
WordPress is the platform most commerce sites/blogs are built on consequently when it comes to apps and support there is no lack of finding any.
Even thought I said WordPress is free and it is. There are some cost associated with using the service or application. The cloud or online based service allows you to host you WordPress site for free or use one of their other offering for a fee. However there is the free application and easily downloadable software, for which the only cost associated is hosting and maybe the design of a theme if you don't want to use any of the free ones available all over the Internet.
It doesn't matter what you need a site for whether blogging, personal or ecommerce, WordPress can do it.
Your WordPress site will always look the same. It doesn't matter what operating system it being hosted or viewed from, whether its a mobile device or desktop, Its going to be the same and legibly too.
Cons
The choices of themes and plugins can be very overwhelming especially to a newbie.
The free cloud based version is limited re the use of plugins but you a good cadre of free plugins from Jetpack

Versatile to the MAX
I've been with WP since the very beginning! A few self-hosted sites but mostly just the .com version. So I remember a few features or procedures that they've phased out. Not happy about losing those. Overall, it's a very solid site with better-than-anything customer care. Lots of possibilities and lots of support. If you aren't too finicky about the specifics of an idea and want something that "just works," WP is great. If you have a specific idea or feature in mind--for example, I got obsessed with the "adding unlimited blogs" feature in another website-builder--then yes there are work-arounds, but NO they won't be exactly the same as the one you're (ok, I'M!) obsessed with.
Pros
Whether you get 1) the "regular" wordpress, aka wordpress.com, aka the one that's not too different from the other website solutions out there, or 2) wordpress .org, aka the "self-hosted" and "you'd better know what you're doing, or have someone on your team who does" version, WORDPRESS is AWESOME. The possibilities are limitless, almost--as long as you or SOMEONE in your reach does, in fact, know what s/he's doing. So I like that bit. I also like the fact that there are so many out-of-the-gate options (themes, features, add-ins) at the ready. The free plan is very generous, and the pricier options give you, erm, lots of options.
Cons
Despite all the possibilities of theme and feature that I just crowed about, even wordpress.com (the not-self-hosted option) can be daunting to a beginning builder-of-a-website. For example, many of the themes by WP and by third parties look GREAT in the theme-chooser-thing, but have little-to-no documentation ("readily" available) for things that might seem standard or obvious to many, ie recommended banner dimensions for a theme. What I mean by this is that making MY page identical to the one shown in the theme-chooser (ie making mine a carbon copy of the example EXCEPT that it's my info and/or graphics, ie "trying to make mine look as good as the one in the store window") is really, REALLY difficult. There's a TON to figure out, and the themes offering the keys to their "secret sauce" are very few and far-between. This might seem trivial to some, but I'm a theme-addict. I've literally created businesses because I was in love with a business card idea, or an ad concept, or... a website theme. And while I've been able to make things work, it took way longer than I would have wanted it to. (That said, I'm a photographer, and one pixel off of my expectation is a soul-crushing experience, aka "most people aren't this persnickety about appearance."

Wordpress
i have been blogging on the wordpress platform for long and i have been able to create a pool of information for the right people to access for their enlightenment.
Pros
user friendly content management software platform that allows for easy navigation of posts and pages, an attribute which can be traced back to the platform's origin in the blogosphere. This makes it the number one go-to platform for everyone with little or no website management knowledge looking to oversee the affairs of their websites all by themselves. Wordpress as a blogging platform gives room for the usage of plugins, both free and paid(for pro versions of most plugins), this singular feature makes blogging on the wordpress platform look like magic as there is always a plugin for everything you want to make happen on the blog. Wordpress provides for website compactness and responsiveness across all internet enabled gadgets, thereby making clients' websites mobile and search engine friendly. Wordpress help its users focus on search engine optimization as there is options to optimize meta tags, blog posts and keyword focus of choice
Cons
updates that are meant to improve and enhance functionality of sites hosted on the wordpress platform can sometimes be a nuisance as some updates end up breaking the functionality of the website hosted on the wordpress platform. The open source status quo of the content management software makes it prone to attacks from hackers who are looking to hold blog owners to a ransom. Some themes on the wordpress platform are just too heavy to properly execute just in time to consider a blog fast enough.

The platform to host your website
I started my WordPress-powered personal blog in 2009 and since then I have managed numerous WordPress-powered websites and blogs for research projects, small companies, Conference & event websites etc. I have been responsible for setting up the functionalities and content and everything is running smoothly, especially with the support of IT teams, when needed.
Collaboration with other users in WordPress is easy, as I could assign different roles to them and since they were familiar with MS Word, they could properly format their texts with the Rich Text Editor of WordPress.
What's important is that integration of multimedia files in posts was always easy with WordPress, something really important if you want to make your posts visually appealing. With new functionalities coming with each new version, things are always much easier and faster.
Pros
I have been using WordPress since about 2009, when I started my first personal blog on Wordpress.com - and it is still up and running. I love WordPress because it is probably the most user-friendly platform to start blogging or a website. There are lots of options - both free and paid - in terms of functionalities and appearance and you can easily build your own ones if you are an expert.
A great advantage is the huge user community out there, always willing to help; when I have a question, the answer is usually already out there.
Cons
As expected, the Wordpress.com-hosted websites and blogs have limitations in functionality (i.e. the installation of plugins and add-ons), but there is always the option to self-host your site so you can have full access to the wealth of features.

Wordpress is perfect for your first website
Overall, I am going to put a lot more effort into learning in-depth learning of module development, and custom field design and display. I am also excited about the Gutenberg new connection, and perhaps because I don't have a lot of old Wordpress site, it will be easier for me to take advantage of this new direction.
Pros
I returned to Wordpress after a break of about 10 years, and was pleasantly surprised to see just how far the software had come. The early "blog" has evolved into a framework that I can build smaller sites quickly and easily, with all the sophisticated graphics and mobile-friendly design features that take hours to programme manually. In particular the choice of themes is impressive, and the top themes have free versions that are more than adequate for many small entrepreneurs. The page builders allows some sophisticated designs, especially for one-page websites.
Probably the most important benefit is how easy the initial installation is, and how easy one can migrate form a production server to the final host. This is not easy on most frameworks, as there is often a change of platform.
Cons
The constant updating of plugins is tiring, although well handled. I have had a few issues with the sites not switching out of maintenance mode (you have to check every time).
I find hunting down the right plugin a nuisance - so many are weak and it is only after installing them you realise. Some leave behind "junk" files and database entries, that are then carried over forever. I would like to have a little more reporting and display flexibility, without having to use Pods (very manual) or a paid plugin for database fields.
Perhaps the most irritating thing that would be VERY easy to change - on the plugin downloads page, when you do a search the items don't have an order - it would be nice to be able to get the most popular downloads first - I keep getting offered plugins that are brand new or almost unused first. Finally after 3 pages I find one of the most popular plugins for doing this particular task.

A great platform with lots of flexibility to build your website on.
Wordpress is probably one of the easiest content management software tools I've used. It can pretty much accommodate any design and function you want but you really should think it all through very carefully before you commit to anything. Things may work well at first but you might find down the road that one choice you made interferes with the ability to do something else and then you might have to start all over or live with it. If more formatting options were available as a default, I think it would help reduce the amount of HTML coding you need to do to get something to look exactly right. We are in the middle of redesigning our website now and with all the options available, we decided to stick with Wordpress again but this time we are taking a lot of time to make sure we get everything we got wrong before set up right and it is looking very good so far.
Pros
Wordpress has a very organized and intuitive dashboard for admins that makes it very easy to edit websites. All the different types of pages you would want to build have their own section and the customization is only limited by your own capabilities. There are tons of web designers that are very familiar with the platform if you need help and it also has plugins for most third party tools you may want to integrate within your site. The simple, built in event and blog tools make those pages basically plug and play where you just need to enter the details into fields and the page is formatted for you based on the design you set up in the beginning.
Cons
While updates are great, I think it gets out of hand sometimes. Especially when some updates may require you to make significant changes to the design or style of your site, it sometimes makes more sense not to update. But if you are not up to date, your site can lose functionality and features. This may not be an issue for some people but when you start using a lot of plugins and customization, some items may need certain updates while the same update might interferes with others. Then you have to decide what matters to you more and you usually end up compromising something.

Best in bests, Very productive and functional with ease of use
I am using WordPress since 2013 to create websites, pages and my own personal blog. I started using it when I didn't know web development and WordPress empowers me to make my own website. It was very easy to learn it and make a website that I want. I have made so many websites for my friends and some of my clients and everyone is very happy with its quick construction, easy to use builders and variety of themes and plugins which can be installed and customized with a click. It helped me to succeed. I always recommend WordPress for web development to my friends because of its ease to use, versatility and power to build anything in low cost.
Pros
WordPress allows making blogs, websites, pages, e-commerce sites and even a social network. It’s so powerful. One of the huge advantage of working with WordPress is, it's very cheap and quick to build a website or blog. It is open source so it’s free to install it on a self-hosted server just by a click. I had a business idea so making a website with WordPress took no time, just installed it and applied a theme and it’s good to go. Another advantage of WordPress is its plugins. There are so many WordPress plugins which allows WordPress to add more functionality. The basic installation of WordPress allows to create pages, websites, show contents and manage content from the backend. WordPress is a really strong blogging engine so you can have your own blog and accept comments from visitors, so that’s what is in the WordPress core. But if you want to capture leads or a calendar or a signup form or a nice looking slider or whatever you can think of; you can build using WordPress Plugins, which is a huge advantage and most of the plugins to add features to WordPress website are free. Third advantage is its standard for CMS. There are a lot of free resources online where you can learn how to make a WordPress website or blog. A huge WordPress developers community and resources are available to provide support for free, so what do you want if you can get things done for free which is a huge huge advantage.
Cons
As WordPress is free so it doesn't mean to create a website using WordPress will work forever without updating. To make it work properly it may need monthly or quarterly updates to pages, theme and plugins because these things receive updates from companies which developed these awesome themes and plugins. If you don't update them time to time your website can become slower, and sometimes a plugin change in the update may break website with is very awful sometimes. So make sure to update theme and plugin on time. Another disadvantage is of WordPress is, as it is free so there is a lot of demand for WordPress and sometime you need to build a website which is right for now but after a couple of months or a year when your business expands and you want to make changes to the website, so you may need an expert to do it for you; which is very hard to find the real expert. Because everyone knows how to make a website with WordPress and customize it but very less of them are truly WordPress experts and can do what exactly do you want. So before building a website for your business using WordPress first meet an expert, discuss your requirement and ask for help so that he can guide you well to select a great theme and supported plugin for your website, So that if you may want to make changes to your website in future when you scale your business; you can do it easily with a very low cost.

Decent for first timers
I enjoy it and I will continue to use it as I have taught myself how to maneuver through the site and do what I need to do on it. I don't feel like it is over the top, enjoy the fact I can do my work and it is free so it does what I need it to do.
Pros
WordPress is pretty easy to use for your blogging, I use it a few times a week for different things, I feel like there are some faults to it but I think it is a pretty good program for people to network along with being able to discuss topics of interest. Of the few blog programs I have used I find this to be one of the better ones, I have noticed new features on the program and find them to be pretty helpful with getting an outreach on certain topics that I tend to post about. You can easily toggle between HTML and Visual to give yourself a full preview of your post prior to posting an needing to go back to make necessary changes, they also offer a wide variety of fonts, colors, characters ect. Upon first using I was very unaware of HTML coding however their how to guides listed with in the program were easily accessible and understandable making my life a little easier as I have to compose blogs for a part of my business network. I have used another program in which I found this to be the better of the two due to the ease of maneuvering through the program and the fact that you are also given a overview of your visits as well as a graphed chart really does help improve the quality of your content. I like this program and I will continue to use it.
Cons
There are flaws to using it within certain systems, I have not checked to see if it has improved to date, but I could not get HTML coding to correspond with the post if I was using an older version of internet explorer. I did switch over to Chrome solely for the use of WordPress and have not had issues currently. The Android application for smartphones does not easily allow you to toggle back and forth between HTML and Visual modes. The blog posts only seem visible to others if it has hashtags inserted, VS using the titles or keyword within the titles for others to search, personally feel like a more professionally written blog should not have to have hashtags inserted with in the body in order for it to grab an outreach, but I guess in today's world hashtags are then new way to each people.

WordPress is the #1 Website building platform for a reason
Generally speaking my experiences are universally positive! As a platform placed midway between the "Creative" and "Technical" ends of the development spectrum, it suits me down to the ground. I appreciate that not everyone may agree (full-on Developers finding it a little restrictive and Mass-Market, with Creatives disliking pretty much all of the Page Builders available (save for those which are VISUAL - but then in turn perform badly and are very s-l-o-w to work with as a direct consequence / side-effect of their visual beauty...
Pros
Flexibility and scalability! WordPress truly does offer a website platform that really can grow with your own business operations over time - without needing to go back to the drawing board (with the exception of if a complete redesign is deemed necessary or the most cost-effective option). Even then, WordPress should remain high on your short-list if you find yourself surveying other options out there. It works!
Cons
Naturally given the sheer SIZE and popularity of the platform, there ARE hundreds or garbage plugins (and themes) out there - all of which should be avoided (but can sometimes be cleverly branded cutely - so as to give the impression the tool(s) is/are good.. when in fact they might damage your Site, or worse still break it completely. Plugin buyer/downloaders... BEWARE!! Also... I can't pass through a "Cons" box about WordPress without mentioning the debacle that was (and for me continues to be...) Gutenberg. As the much heralded new built-in page and post editor, I think it is fair to say that WordPress well and truly botched that one.. and whilst they've since rebuilt many bridges regarding it in the WP community, I for one remain distanced from it. I simply don't *need* it anyway, which is a relief!
