The overall experience has been pretty good.
The services work well, I had no problems that disturbed my clients, customer support has been brilliant in helping too and the telephone services at the price level are quite good, which will help immensely in the annual expenses.
Pros
-The customer support team is excellent. They are very responsive and help me resolve my problems.
-The prices are afordable: comparable or better than others Virtual Phone Services.
-Provides great services for international calling ! Makes international calls alot more easy and less expensive.
-It is easy to use.
-It has a simple UI which greatly facilitates the domain of the service.

I had some problems trying to register even with a business email I could not create a new account and
the first time I used the service it crushed 2 times and keep logging me out of my account.
But i called the support team and they helped me resolve the problem.

Worst Technical Experience Coupled with Customer Service that Goes in Circles
My overall experience has been terrible. Terrible customer support, its like the agents never have access to information in your system, they take you through the same trouble shooting time and time again and don't appear to realise how their own system works. I.e., they could not advise me that I should use forced call tagging if I cannot add call tags after a call as a way to overcome that problem. It sounds like a small thing but it is constant and leads to a very poor user experience.
Pros
Integrates with other features, good transcription of calls, high quality transcriptions.
Cons
Customer service was so TERRRIBLE, you go around and around in circles. They say they will cancel a feature then don't do it, then if you ask for a refund for the service you cancelled and they confirmed had been cancelled they will take you round in circles again. They

I like the tool because it is easy to use, it allows me to be connected to my telephone exchange from the country or place that I am, which allows me to speak with my clients easily, safely and clearly.
Very good connection, audio quality and customer service
Cons
The technical support I feel that sometimes they do not know well what they are doing, they take a little time to give answers to the tickets and the transfer of calls stinks!

That we always someone to reach out to, in case of a query! need to follow those long procedures to get to the customer service dept. Someone new like me, might have questions and queries in the initial phase! And I highly appreciate CallHippo customer service!

I would say you should come up with options where one can sign up, without having a GSuit account or with email IDs like Gmail.com, yahoo.com! As I believe an entrepreneur, or a freelancer, might not have access or availability of official email Id! Hence they are left with no choice than not to use your service!!

CallHippo is a Geat Value!
It worked great for the temporary project needs we had. Very easy to set up and use. Customer support was excellent, thanks again to [SENSITIVE CONTENT]!

Our team found CallHippo to be very easy to use and it was super quick to set up.
Cons
The only criticism is that it was very difficult to find how to cancel my account, once we no longer needed it. But [SENSITIVE CONTENT] in Support was very helpful and quickly gave me the information I needed. Way to go, [SENSITIVE CONTENT]!
We used CallHippo for a client's project that is now complete, so we no longer need the service.
Reasons for Switching to CallHippo

Incredible rate, quality, customer support, everyone goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that their customers are well taken care of and it is something that is noticible from the very first moment you sign on with a customer service rep. As someone who works in I.T. and handles situations like these on a daily basis I can appreciate just how much work goes into the service they provide to their customers, and this speaks volumes. The time I spent with my customer service rep. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] there were many moments where the conversation could have ended with my issue left unresolved, but [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was patient and strategically helped me find a solution to the issue I was having. Individuals like this are a HUGE asset to a company, and with individuals like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] on the team I have no doubt that the future is very bright for CallHippo.

Provides all the features that would need and then some. There are lots of services to choose from but no matter which service you choose having reliable customer service is critical to making it all work.
Cons
The only thing I can think of is the robot voice for the voicemail technology could probably be upgraded. But they also allow you to upload your own pre-recorded audio file which works perfectly for me so it wasn't really an issue at all.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was helping me today and he ROCKS! Any time I have needed questions answered, the support team has been extremely helpful.
Pros
Once you learn to use it, it is very easy and robust. It does more than what we need it to do, and the price is great.
Cons
Our agency sets up many accounts for our clients. Sometimes the anti-fraud department flags our new accounts. Our clients pay their CallHippo bill directly so we have many accounts rather than just one.
Regardless, the new account openings are resolved quickly.

We are happy with this product! We were using ringcentral before and had issues with no support. Here they have 24/7 support always ready to help

Do Not Use CallHippo, They Will Not Followup Properly
My experience with CallHippo was terrible. I wish I never used this company in the first place. I requested to cancel before the monthly charge and I was still charged.
I do not feel confident in their communication because I feel that their team members have no idea what is going on.
At times, I feel bad for the impatient responses that I have left CallHippo because I have had to wait for a full week to get back to them. I appreciate the help that their manager gives and while I was paying for CallHippo, I felt that their manager was trying the best they could to deliver the message across the team.
However, my last statement still stands, they have poor communication with their team members and it leads me to believe that nothing is being done about the support that I'm going after.
One example is the time I was trying to port my number into CallHippo. It took me about 2-3 weeks to port the number and there was a constant miscommunication with what they had for instructions. I told them I wanted to 'port out' a number into CallHippo and somehow the message didn't come across well enough. Even with the instructions they had to execute this action.
And now, I'm waiting on $90 dollars refund from CallHippo because I cancelled their service. They also removed the phone number for which I had for direct mail (Every Door Direct Mail) and now I can't recover the number anymore.
Pros
Affordable to use. Easy UI. Their follow up needs much work though.
Cons
Do not use CallHippo because their communication skills do not make me feel comfortable with the service that I am getting.
Steer clear from the service at all costs. I attempted to change my credit card information because I didn't hear from them for a week and a half on cancelling the service.

Pros
After an initial poor experience with one of the support staff the
manager stepped in. Kudos to following through on numerous awkward
first starts. Despite one after another issues that came up they
finally persevered and I have a functional product to try out for the
next year. We will see how the relationship goes after I've had some
time to use.
Cons
Some of the functionality is clear other parts are not so. The company
could do themselves a favor by clearly documenting the capabilities AND
LIMITATIONS so that the prospective customer knows what they are. The
company could also do themselves a favor by reviewing their website and
removing obvious typographical, grammatical and outright silliness from
their website (i.e, there is no Boston County in California). The lack
of paying attention to detail in the web pages was evident in similar
problems that occurred getting the software to work. I feel like I was
the first customer that ever used the product from South Africa.

There are certain guidelines set by the carriers with respect to virtual phone numbers activation and we have to abide by those to avoid any abuse. We don¿t need any personal information nor, we bill our customers for unused services. We are a legitimately registered US company. We would appreciate if you can re-evaluate the feedback.

Great product, can't say the same about customer service
Well, as I mentioned, the product was great, but customer service was not. We used the product for 6-8 months within the first year. Afterward, our business closed, and we had no further use. We had paid upfront for a year; we didn't bother asking for a refund for the remaining months.
Comes [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], we get an email that our subscription has been renewed (on a Sunday) again for an entire amount of $1440. 2 minutes after the email came through, we replied, letting them know of the situation and if they can please cancel and issue a refund.
So far, they have denied the refund and offered a 50% refund instead. This is certainly wrong, in my opinion, given the circumstances. Due to callhippos predatory practice, we won't be returning in the future; sad to say this as the software was good. However, given our experience, we rather not risk potential sour encounters in the future.
Pros
The software itself was actually great, we used it for 6-8 months, and it did very well.
Cons
They did have some bugs, not show-stoppers, but they were annoying. It took a decent amount of time to get them sorted out, which I think is in some ways normal for any start-up. They did, however, fix it.

Callhippo Review after using for almost one year
I am very satisfied with the services. The best part of the service is the customer service, specially [SENSITIVE CONTENT], he always resolves my queries, even the tiniest one. When we were new [SENSITIVE CONTENT] helped us very well in setting everything up. Even today when I say hello on the website chat section, all the customer care representative answers timely.

Great features, well worth the money!
Good experience. They have great customer service that is eager to help. Eventhough they seem to be located in India, it in no way lowers the value of their offering.
Pros
It has what you need for a phone number. Speedy set up, then you can forward the new number to your personal or office number. We've included a voice mail as well so all calls are greeted with a professional message while the line is being redirected. in the past tried 2 other services that did not work and this is the best by far. Been using it for almost 1 year. The phone app is really handy as you can call from the app.
Cons
Nothing much. all is good and can't think of anything, except that for some countries they don't have phone numbers. But guess that's not something not to like - it's just that their service does not include it.

Help with call forwarding issue
I can easily take calls in any country when travelling. It make it easier to contact with my customers. I love the customer service [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] provided today with call forwarding issue. It shows the support team care for the each and every customer.

Invasive privacy requests— very scary company
Incredibly scary. I received emails copied to lots of people requesting photo of, addresses, website domain data, business background, phone number and other personal identifying data that would allow a scammer to use my credit card. When I told callhippo personnel this was illegal in Canada they backtracked on that request but cancelled my account. I would not touch this company and certainly do not provide personal photo, birthdate, address data that can be used with your credit card to impersonate and steal identities. That is why we use credit cards to avoid those kinds of scams. Beware. I’m reporting the callhippo to the privacy commissioner in Canada and credit card company visa.

The software was adequate for my needs but the agents at callhippo started requesting sensitive personal information immediately after taking my credit card data.

The website domain you used is not functional, we were unable to find you on any platforms such as linkedin.

Cons
When I did my research it was not stated anywhere that outgoing minutes are extra. I went through the trouble of signing up and than realized that this product will not work for me because of the extra per minute charge. First I upgraded the plan and than i realized that even on the higher plan I am paying per minute for outgoing calls. Cheaper to get another line with local carrier. I am mostly upset because this should be listed front and center and not hidden somewhere at the bottom of a very long pricing page. Just wastes everyones time
