Most Pastors and/or Church leaders are familiar with Planning Center, Tithely, Church Community Builder, Breeze, Rock, etc. We have done extensive research on every platform on the market today and most don't come close to offering what OneChurch Software offers.I understand that different churches have certain preferences based on specific needs and may be "gun-shy" about trying something new. I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. > > **Cons**: OCS is a bit pricey when compared to another leading ChMs that we were using prior to coming over to OCS. OCS pricing goes up based on the number of member profiles that are active in your system. The previous company that we used was a flat $99 monthly fee regardless of how many profiles were in the system. No exporting from contributions rearranging data and importing into accounting. Forms are easy to use and some of the fields will add/count in the summary section. Has a printable directory for the folks that like a printed directory. Groups are easy to manage. Each group has their own calendar. Can easily email all members of the group. Service Planning has categories and a multi-grid for easy assigning of volunteers. Automation is wonderful for membership process and visitor process etc. Reports and be auto sent via the query function. The serving area is where the congregation can sign up to serve areas that are needed. Usually have answers to questions in the chat (customer support) in 15-30 minutes during business hours. Merchant account (USIO) does not charge a percent + thirty cents per transaction. Just a percentage. There is a box to allow the giver to cover the fees. We are not large enough to use the facilities scheduling, but it's there if we need it. > > **Cons**: Because it has so much available it takes a bit to learn. We have older saints that have needed some training, and don't see it as very intuitive. But there is a lot of availability with the software so it takes some time to learn when you haven't worked with computer software. Would love an integration with Ministry Safe. One Church is the most configurable platform without requiring "custom" code or highly technical steps to get most of the functions that churches need. They've done an amazing job of making the user interface clean and powerful. It works like I, a seasoned church administrator, want a ChMS to work. After the initial training session, I played around with it, made a few mistakes, and was off and running. I was able to have my church online within days of our data import. I really appreciated the price as well\! I feel like this is the best bang for the buck I've seen in a ChMS. I've used other church management tools, and One Church is the one I recommend to my peers. > > **Cons**: The data import was a little rough. I didn't realize until it was too late that not all of the important dates were transferred over, such as baptism dates and confirmation dates. The report builder took some time to learn, but once I figured it out, it works well. So far, after 3 months, those are the only two issues. > > Overall, I love One Church\! It is a great tool. I make knives as a hobby. During the early stages of my learning, I was taught that there are a lot of different hammers in knife making, and the trick is, you have to learn which one is right for the job you are doing. I can say without hesitation that One Church is the right tool for the job I am doing.
