Great software and support

The software is great, and has helped us tremendously. Previous software was a challenge to get accurate reporting and was a nightmare for accounting. Their support has been nothing short of outstanding! They have gone well above and beyond to help integrate our custom requirements. With a great mobile app and integration to QuickBooks, my staff are easily able to update tickets in the field, invoice the client, collect payment, close the ticket and everything flows to QuickBooks. Client and ticket history is maintained easily and there isn't any duplicate data entry.

Pros

Ease of use. The workflow is straightforward and logical. Love their mobile app, love the integrations with QuickBooks, Zapier and NiceJob. We are using the custom forms option, which is well-integrated.

Cons

Booking portal does not have enough options for our needs. We have different arrival time windows for different types of service calls. FieldPulse only offers 1 option for an arrival time window, so we have to use a 3rd party booking system, and use Zapier to send over the appointments. Would really appreciate it if the API allowed all fields to be addressable, so integrations could fully integrate.

Customer Service is worth it all!

No matter the problem, their customer service is extremely helpful! Every platform has issues, that is a given. Not every platform is quick to fix and respond to those issues. We have used the comparable platforms and found FieldPulse to have extremely amazing customer support that was far superior to it's competitors. The biggest feedback I would have for a new customer is SYNC QUICKBOOKS before trying to import yourself. That will save you a lot of hassle. I imported first and it created duplicates when I had to sync, but here is where the customer service outshone the rest... when I had duplicates, they went ahead and archived every duplicate and edited each display name so i didn't accidentally use the wrong customer when inputing new information. When we had issues with the quickbooks syncing invoices, they immediately fixed the problem and tracked down a couple more invoices I wasn't aware of. Their customer service makes the entire program worth it.

Pros

Customer Service, the amount of features included in membership

Cons

no month to month option, only annual contracts. Also, no contract for a husband and wife small business. We aren't a fan of having to pay for two users for a husband and wife combo.

All the good and excellent reviews for this company have to be fake, fraudulent company beware!

The excellent reviews here have to be fake to promote this company with the experience our small business is going through now there is no way the good reviews are real. First the salesperson [sensitive content hidden] misled us by telling us the software did what we needed it to do after we explained how our process works he told us the system was customizable and that once we signed up we would go through on boarding which was delayed for two weeks even though they had already charged my card, the engage system we were told was activated but was not activated till we kept asking for it. We specifically asked for two user accounts and a limited account which they still charge you 15 to 20 dollars after trying to use the program and not being able to make it work [sensitive content hidden]
said that they acknowledged that the software won’t work for us and the have no feature coming up to make it work so we asked for a full refund and to opt out of the contract she agreed but said she had to wait for her manager to approve it, this has also been delayed because [sensitive content hidden] says due to their fiscal year end her manager has been in and out of meetings so she has not responded but she said she will have it all taken care of today on 3/3/2025 . Meanwhile my small business is being affected and the to make things worse I was charged 266.40 for the plan I selected which is not due again until 3/20/2025 but at 1:00 am today I was charged another 110.00 without my authorization for another user. This company is a fraud and will try to lock you into a contract. Help is no where to be found after you tell them the system does not work.

3 Year User Experience

4/5. Seems like it's still being built. Many pieces of data I ask for are unable to be gathered.

Pros

Portability. Able to use in office and field and info updates in real time.

Cons

Desktop vs mobile experience is not always the same. Some features are easier to use on either platform. Timesheets are clunky for work orders. Unable to see what dates field was on each work order.

FieldPulse = Best FSM Software

I was looking for an all-in-one software solution. FieldPulse checked all of the boxes from features I needed (like scheduling and dispatching, CRM, sales, and more) to the tailored care and support I got. I never felt like a number.

Pros

Incredible process and company all around. From the sales experience to onboarding and support, they have taken care of everything and truly tailored my experience.

Cons

Can't thin of a single thing. The people at FieldPulse really stand out.

Very happy - the product, the support and the options for success, unmatched. Small business MUST have.

Pros

FieldPulse has everything I need to keep my office and my field running smoothly. They truly thought of everything when they designed this product and are constantly improving, communicating and readily available to help whenever necessary.

Pros

Ease of use, frees up so much time during the week

Cons

The customer portal isn't very useful and very little search, filter capabilities all together.

The calendar view is hard to view and see open spots at a glance. A simple border around bookings would make this an amazing upgrade.

There are 2 different calendar views, makes it confusing and giving wrong dates to customers. 1 starts on Monday and the other starts on Sunday.

Glad it was the first one I tried

I have had a great experience with FieldPulse. I have started my business using it and it has helped me get ahead of the curve when it comes to adding customers and scheduling work. Also invoicing and accepting payments has been super easy as well

Fieldpulse review

Overall I have had a good experience with Fieldpulse other than the little glitches that happen. Some of these have been fixed and the Fieldpulse team is very good at communicating and working with you to diligently fix an issues that come up. I also really appreciated that the Fieldpulse team added some features that our business needs that are not normally part of the software.

Pros

I deal with purchasing and creating purchase orders. I like that it is so easy to create PO's with the software and even easier to receive them. Just a matter of changing the status and updating the POs as necessary. It is also a lot easier to create invoices with Fieldpulse and collect payment. They recently added the feature to save credit cards for future payments and that saves a lot of time and hassle for the both our business and the customer as well. Lastly, The support that Fieldpulse provides is amazing! they are quick to respond and always keep you updated on all the changes happening.

Cons

There is a glitch when searching up customers. I will search up a specific customer and click on that customer but the software will take me to a different profile. Its easy to work around as you just have to search again and it will be fine. But its something that you will have to pay attention when dealing with different profiles. Although I will say since we have started using fieldpulse and it has had a few updates it has happened significantly less. Still happens once in a blue moon but the frequency has decreased over time.

Phenomenal scheduling and management software

Extremely positive, quickbooks 2 way integration, field pulse payments and dispatching has made business run so much smoother.

Pros

The ease of dispatching and scheduling technicians.

Cons

There representatives are not always the most supportive. We hear a lot that "there is an issue, field pulse will be up and running shortly. Will reach out soon" They did not lie issues are normally resolved quickly however, we never actually get a resolution email stating what caused the shut down.

Stop overpaying for software

Fantastic. Field Pulse gives me 90% of the functionality of other competing softwares, at 1/3 of the cost.

Pros

Field Pulse is the lowest cost option in our industry and the simple setup is as quick and simple.

Cons

UI could use some improvement and I’d love more customizable options, like custom fields that could be used in report building.

Great UI and efficiency

Overall, FieldPulse has allowed us to grow our business by nearly 180% over the past 12 months. The software greatly reduces the time requirements and cost of operating a separate CRM.

Pros

The UI is optimized on Mo Ike for tracking job status and communicating with clients.

Cons

Engage tends to be clunky and drop calls at times and we have struggled with push notifications for on-job comments.

Blackbelt’s FieldPulse Honest Review

So far everything has been great along with customer service when needed.

Pros

FieldPulse is jam packed with features and is integrating more features over time. We left HousecallPro for FieldPulse and also considered Service Titan at one point, but don’t regret this decision.

The price book can use more services and/or items

Avoid Field Pulse

In short, over promise and under deliver. Other than the initial meeting with the sales rep, it was poor customer service. The FSM itself is very similar to other competitors like Housecall Pro, Jobber, and so on.

Pros

The FSM seemed promising for our plumbing & heating business upon the sales presentation. QuickBooks integration was nice which was a must for us.

Cons

The platform itself has glitches and is not that user friendly as Field Pulse sales rep made it seem. Was promised 3 training sessions to learn the platform but they only delivered on 1 training session with a fellow who's internet connection was so poor we didn't get much done. When I followed up on the other 2 training sessions I was told they would get back to me. I followed up on that, still nothing for the last 3 weeks. Now it has been over two weeks to hear back from their cancellation team. As a owner operator with only few employees, who has time to spent hours to learn a new system. My recommendation is keep looking.

Great Software

Overall, Fieldpulse has been great and has allowed us to serve our customers better than previously. We have looked at other service software companies and we still like Fieldpulse and we like that Fieldpulse are constantly upgrading and adding features to the platform, which tells me they are listening to their subscribers/customers!

Pros

Ease of use. Great for small companies down to a 1 man company. Helps streamline operations

Cons

3 small things. I wish we could add the 3% to an invoice or estimate even if were connected to QB. Secondly would be the ability to eithe integrate with a 3rd party price book. Its difficult/cumbersome for small companies to establish a full blown flat rate pricing book(s). lastly, subcontractor usage. Would like to see the ability to have sub oversight. Currently, they have to be a part of the platform which raises cost and they won't need consistent access to the platform. MAybe a hybrid that they have functionality only on assigned jobs...

How FieldPulse Has Made My Life Better

Overall my experience has been good with Field Pulse because I'm still learning different aspects of the program. My Input Technician and Receptionist uses it more than I do, but I can do what I need to do with it.

Pros

What I liked most about Field Pulse is the notifications you get each time there is a service and it also let your clients know that you have received it.

Cons

The thing that I like least about Field Pulse is having to put my invoices on a usb drive to print multiple copies because my old system allowed for me to print them all at once without having to put them on a drive.

Easy, Reliable Service Software

The customer support is unbeatable, they are always very responsive and go above and beyond to find a solution to any question or problem we have.

Pros

I love that I can see the progress and status of jobs when the technicians are on site. The ease of being able to access information in the field that the office staff are able to upload is great!

Cons

It seems like the desktop version is easier to navigate. The mobile version however is as efficient as it can be with less screen space.

I'm glad I found Fieldpulse when starting my company.

The software is second to none. As I said, everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. I had the opportunity to get help from [sensitive content hidden] several times and based on that experience I can tell that he works hard on the product, the customer experience and the work environment.

Pros

We have been using Fieldpulse for about years now, and the software gets better and better every day. Everyone in the company is very professional and highly qualified, and most of all, they make you feel like part of a family.

Cons

Honestly, there are no cons. The product improves constantly, in the past 6 years I had the opportunity to interact with customer service, tech support and the [sensitive content hidden] and my experience was superb, the same in every case which says a lot about the philosophy and the mission of this company.

Plumber explains experience with FieldPulse

I was able to use all relevant features immediately.
My favorite features include knowing when the customers open the estimate or invoice, being able to send via email and text to the customers.

Pros

It is easy to use. It lets you capture the photos(evidence) of your work and to easily document the issues left unresolved and why.
My customers love getting professional invoicrs with lots of notes and explanations.

Cons

With poor internet connections it can take a while to upload pictures on the invoice.

Fieldpulse for the win

It’s been a game changer for us. We can customize just about anything we want to and have proper lines of communication while having everything scheduled. Everything is in one place in the Customer file which makes looking up things very easy!

A great product, that keeps getting better.

It has been great. The on boarding was good, the team is helpful. If I have a concern they are generally already in the process of addressing the issue. If you are planning on growing a service business FieldPulse would be a great choice.

Pros

I like being able to have a smooth and consistent customer facing platform for my residential plumbing home service business. My branding and logo are part of every communication. I call display my options on job with my logo as well. When a customer pays a bill they get an email sent to the address on file. There is a lot of little features like that that make the process feel smooth and easy. Furthermore they have a much better pricing point compared to some of the systems. All in all FieldPulse is great it is going to get better and my company will be able to grow by using Fieldpuse.

Cons

There is some lag of features that are available in the United States that are not yet available in Canada, which is tough, but they are actively working on this issue and most have a timeline to be addressed in the near future. This is the only major fault I have experienced.

5 star product with 5 star support behind it

Everything has been a great experience working their team. From the sales team to the onboarding and support teams, they were more useful and knowledgeable than their Service Titan counterparts, or other apps we’ve tried.

Pros

The onboarding and support teams with Field Pulse have been far superior to our experiences with Service Titan or other products. The mobile app is also a vast improvement from other products and has virtually no limitations from the website features.

Cons

The lack of payroll features is really the only issue I have with this product. It’s a fairly large issue for us but the support and development team has been working with me on workarounds.

One of the few times that cheaper paid off.

It is a well rounded field management software that isn't as popular as it should be. There was a time the Pricebook didn't work right, you couldn't add multiple quantities of a service which made it unusable, but they have since updated that and is the biggest reason I made the switch from HCP.

Pros

I like how it can do so much and you have the option to run your business how you would like. I like the Pricebook and creating options. There is a lot of customization. I love the pipeline and statuses of jobs, quotes, invoices, etc it's really helpful and of course all customizable.

Cons

I was a little skeptical that I had to sign up for a year, something I wouldn't normally do, but having used it for a few months now, I'm really glad I did. With that said, I wish reporting was better and wish it looked more modern, it's definitely dated looking. I wish I felt like there was a bigger group of people using the software, like HCP, their Facebook group is large and very active. Always just relying on customer support is only one way to look at things. Overall I'm happy I'm with Fieldpulse, after having used Jobber and HCP for many years.

Look no farther

I give it a 10 out of 10. Customer service along with the onboarding process and the continued follow up after becoming a customer, I give them a 11 out of 10. They have made the switch over to them seamless. I cannot say enough about how helpful everyone has been with Field Pulse.

Pros

The team environment that customer service has with us. I like the ability to customize the forms to show what is needed and even to create our own forms to suit our needs. The ability to sent out contracts and take payments is another big aspect with Field Pulse. Once you understand how the Jobs and Invoices are tailored it makes keeping everything in place, nice and neat.

Cons

When I have found something that did not work as efficient as it could the team at Field Pulse always has found a way to fix it. The ability to pull reports could be done better. The software is so detailed that sometimes pulling a simple report can be cumbersome.

Field Pulse user review -Equip Heat & Air LLC

It has been great. I'm a newer, smaller company, and the amount they offer for the price that I am paying is extremely competitive. Their customer service, easy to use software, and price point have made it easy to run 90% of my company's administrative needs on just their application. I will be using them for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Easy setup. Amazing software for everything from invoicing, customer contact management, bookkeeping, and all organizational features that I need to run my heating and air company. Also haven't had any sort of bugs or anything on the software which I had with other similar applications.

Cons

This isn't a huge deal, but I would like to see more customization options for their forms. That is a big thing to be able to have and use on certain jobs, like estimates or tune-ups, and would be nice to be able to send to the customer as well. I would like to have the ability to have options on certain questions of the form, as well as being able to attach a file or picture to specific form questions. Similar to other software systems that I have used in the past.

FieldPulse customer

I have enjoyed FieldPulse , it has made my job much easier from using pen and paper to inputting it all into a database. I do like that FieldPulse is always looking to the future.

Pros

I like the fact that I can use it on my PC, my laptop, my telephone, and all the information is the same. I am a one person owner/office worker and it makes my job much easier.

Cons

I would have to say some of the fees that are associated with some of the add-ons.

Best in Class, But Don't Forget to Evolve Rapidly

Willingness to evolve is a key to sustained customer loyalty and I appreciate the team's efforts so far!

Pros

You receive all of the core, required functionality up-front as part of your subscription, which was a huge factor in weighing options across various platform providers. Quote options and add-ons is one of the keys to my business and I have all the flexibility necessary to cater to every project.

Cons

As a super user, I commonly find issues that are first to market. Luckily the staff is happy to accept feature requests, but the time I've spent wading through support, being patient while they run through scripts and assumptions is tiresome.

FieldPulse review

I have had a phenomenal experience with FieldPulse so far! There are so many useful features and the support has been amazing. FieldPulse definitely gives my customers the professional and convenient experience they deserve. As my company grows, I’m looking forward to integrating even more of the features that are available with FieldPulse has to offer.

Pros

I love the pricebook and being able to set up templates along with inventory capabilities. These things are much more makes my life a lot easier running this business by myself.

Cons

The only issue I had is that the customer interface portal for scheduling does not block off my already scheduled appointments automatically. The other software I was looking into did not have that capability either. But this is not a big complaint because there is a new update that will integrate exactly what I’m looking for coming in a few weeks.

Excellent Data Management Program

Tremendous, in any relationship there are ups and downs especially when you change systems (there is always the negative what did we lose/what's different approach). The Fieldpulse team has worked diligently with our management team to mitigate the feeling of loss, which has allowed for the teams to focus on all the things we have gained. This has made the change management side of things much easier.

Pros

The ease of data entry and communication with the customers is exceptional, our admin team loves how much time they save over our previous system.

Cons

If I am being hyper critical, I find the reporting could use a few more field options to increase the data points you can compare.
That being said the team at Fieldpulse has been exceptional at working with our organization to provide corrections and adjustments where necessary to make the program work more effectively for us. I am sure this is already on their radar, and will be enhanced.

Cant say enough good things about FieldPulse

From day one I loved what FieldPulse allowed us to accomplish. from the technical support during set up, to the ease of managing my business afterward. FieldPulse helped bring my business out of the Stone Ages.

Pros

It allowed me to pull my business into one software that helped me manage everything and intigrated seamlessly with QuickBooks.

Cons

there was a learning curve with FieldPulse, but the staff was amazing and were there whenever we needed them to help.

Great software for contractors

Fieldpulse has been an overall great experience, and the team has taken great care of me over the years. Would definitely recommend them to any other contractors.

As it is, I've gotten 2-3 other contractors to sign up in the past.

Pros

Easy to use, intuitive software and a great team behind it that is always ready to help.

Cons

The mobile app is slightly less intuitive than working at a computer, but I feel like that's just a problem for me. The app itself is really good, just has a few less features than the web version.

Great CRM system

The quoting tools are fantastic, and the setup of full quote templates is such a time-saver.

Pros

I’m a big fan of Field Pulse because it’s super user-friendly. The dashboard is also really attractive and easy to navigate.

Cons

No certificates for the UK market, but we’re working on it!

Middle of the road

Overall I think it is one of the top companies out there. If you are looking for something with a lot of options and support but don't want to pay high prices this may be the right software if you can handle some of the limitations.

Pros

I think they have some of the best customer support out there.

Cons

Newer company still going through many growing pains and sometimes I feel like they are behind in the race.
