Mailchip Free Version
I am very happy using Mailchimp for my small non-profit and am currently using the free version which meets our needs currently. As we expand, we may upgrade, and we are exploring switching our website to Mailchip as well. Currently we have a popup on our website that lets people sign up for our Mailchip newsletter, which is a great tool.
Pros
I like having all of my contacts in once place, and it keep track of my newsletters, plus it integrates with social media like Facebook and Instagram. Also that it tracks opens and clicks for any campaigns you send out.
Cons
The user interface can be a little confusing to edit newsletters, since it's not actually done in the screen where the preview is, it's done in a text box on the side, which makes sense because you can change font color, size and type there. I just always automatically want to click on the preview to make changes.

Industry standard tool which works well but pricing policy is counter to expanding your...
Pros
MailChimp is in the industry standard for marketing email, and they do have a refined interface for creating templates and sending mail. Reports are also good.
Cons
Their pricing policy discourages companies like ours from building and expanding clients. The pricing is predicated on number of contacts so the more contacts you have, the more you pay! Not usage based like how many marketing messages sent! We don't earn revenue by having lots of contacts - we earn revenue when a contact purchases thus when they respond to a marketing message. We shouldn't pay just to store contacts in MailChimp.

Excellent for Simple Emails, Overcomplicated as a Budding CRM
On the whole, since we're just using it for email marketing to specific groups, it's been decent. Particularly since non-technical users can use that functionality. But when it comes to trying to use other functions, ever since the merger with Intuit, it's been harder to use.
Pros
Mailchimp has a simple builder that makes it usable by any of our staff to quickly build and deploy an email.
Cons
Over the years, Mailchimp has tried to become a CRM, as a result, the admin ui has become quite painful and hard to navigate. Things are not where you would expect them to be. It's like they kept building out to a house without thinking about how all the rooms connected.

I used MailChimp for multiple clients over a 6 year period. Since then I have switched over to MailPoet, which has a robust out of the box set up, and very easy to teach end users.

First in class
I have had a great experience with Mailchimp. I have tried many email clients, and this is hands down the best. I had a scary instance recently where another one of my users deleted a whole audience, and support helped me recover everything within 20 minutes. Couldn't be happier.
Pros
I love how easy it is to design emails and set your audiences. Their "Tags" feature is another one I use all the time.
Cons
Finding what you are looking for can be cumbersome if you are looking for something a little more particular. However, I have found that what I am looking for is usually always there somewhere. Their help desk is excellent as well, so you never have to be stuck for long.

Reach the right audience with your email campaigns
I am new to email marketing campaigns, but I will say it is awesome what you can do with this tool. We can also strategically target audiences based on the tags we assign them.
Pros
We tend to have very successful campaigns through Mailchimp. I do like all the additional stats you get and all of the different featurs avaialable.
Cons
It take a while to figure out the steps involved to launch a campaign and it is not intuitive. Also, how you can not set up an audience from the campaign itself is not great.

MailChimp: Targeted Marketing Excellence
By liking a link to our Facebook page, the platform's intuitive to navigate, and it's very powerful, with automation features helping to develop focused and personalized campaigns for specific audiences. We have leveraged the powerful analytical capabilities and testing tools to maintain marketing optimality constantly.
Pros
The audience segmentation at the individual level, sophisticated analytics, or lack of these features makes MailChimp stand out from the competitions. Customer Journey Builder in this platform enables complex automation depending on customers behavior, and the artificial intelligence of content optimization can advise the best time for sending emails and approximate the campaign's outcome.
Cons
The campaign duplication could be improved, especially to allow easy handling of sequences in the automation process. Sometimes the reporting interface might lack more details on customer conversion for specific customer portraiture.

Mailchimp Review
Overall it was a two-sided experience. We liked the application and features but were disappointed by the price and the restrictions. Mailchimp has a very good user experience at the application level but there is too much control on how we want to market our products. Unless they adjust we would not return using their product.
Pros
Mailchimp has a very good GUI. The application is very easy to use and well-designed for email marketers. I enjoyed the pre-made templates and designs. In addition, I was able to use the campaign features that helped me efficiently create email campaigns without any issues.
Cons
Unfortunately, the two main reasons we stopped using Mailchimp were the price and the restrictions that Mailchimp places on affiliate marketers. We were able to find alternative products that allow us to send emails without any limitations or restrictions on volume. While we understand we do not want to send spam messages, we have always felt restricted by the strict Mailchimp requirements. Plus we had no choice but to move on because we have affiliate links throughout our marketing products and using Mailchimp was very restrictive.

My overall experience with mailchimp has been excellent over the years I've been using them for well over 12 years now has never have any issue the platform just keeps getting better and better and I recommend them to friends that are getting started online all the while and they love the platform as well.
Pros

Mailchimp: A solid Email Management Program for Growing Businesses
My overall experience with Mailchimp has been positive. It’s a well-rounded platform that makes creating and managing email campaigns straightforward and effective. The interface is clean and user-friendly, with great tools for design and analytics. While there are some limitations and the pricing could be more accessible, the platform delivers on its promise of simplifying email marketing.
Pros
The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, and the variety of customizable templates saves a lot of time. I also appreciated the robust analytics tools, which provide valuable insights into email performance. The integration options with other platforms and tools were a big plus, streamlining workflow and boosting efficiency. Overall, it's a great platform for managing email campaigns effectively.
Cons

Ideal email marketing platform for small businesses
It’s a solid email marketing platform that made it easy to grow my contact lists, design professional-looking campaigns, and gain deeper insights into audience engagement.
Pros
I’ve been consistently impressed by Mailchimp’s user-friendly interface and powerful email automation capabilities. The platform’s drag-and-drop email builder makes designing attractive campaigns easy even for those without a technical or design background. Audience lists are also easy to manage
Cons
While Mailchimp excels in many areas, its pricing can feel steep as your subscriber list and campaign needs grow. Certain advanced features, such as more granular reporting and A/B testing, are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may not be cost-effective for smaller businesses. This is really bad because for me mailchimp is mostly suited for small businesses and if you are huge you better look for alternative products

Big Fan of Mailchimp!
Overall I love Mailchimp and it has really helped me create stunning emails to send out in one mass email. The click map is crucial and helps me to keep my clients happy.
Pros
I am a big fan of mailchimp. I like how easy it is to create beautiful emails, and track who clicked on each link and view a click map, you can send your email out in a social share easily and replicate emails easily. You can start a chat with their customer service at any time, and they will not leave you without solving your problem which I immensely appreciate.
Cons
It took me a long time to realize how to get moving ads inside the email, it has to be a GIF and it can be really tricky to do sizing. They had an update to move campaign manager where you can view all emails, and it's hard to find.

Great Templates Easy Automation
One thing Mailchimp nails is email automation. I’ve set up automated welcome sequences, post-purchase emails, and even abandoned cart reminders, and they all work seamlessly. It saves me so much time and ensures I’m always engaging with my subscribers at the right moments. Plus, the targeting options are really powerful, you can send personalized emails based on user behavior, and it’s all pretty easy to set up. This feature alone makes Mailchimp worth it for me.
Pros
Creating email campaigns with Mailchimp is easy, thanks to their drag-and-drop builder. The templates look professional, and I can customize them to fit my brand. It’s also cool that Mailchimp gives you suggestions based on industry best practices while you’re building, which is helpful when you’re trying to improve your emails.

The Best Email Tool
I have been able to grow my website which serves two types of clients. However, I can create different campaigns for each, and keep both separate and organized. I'm able to send quality newsletters for each with guidance to ensure they do not go to spam and get opened. I can even see if I received sales.
Pros
I have been using Mailchimp for over 8 years because it continues to enhance and upgrade the software to meet the competitive needs of the Internet for my two brands. With the ability to integrate it with my membership site and other software, I'm able to get more relevant subscribers. It is also free to use for the first 2,000 subscribers.

Mailchimp: A Great Starting Point for Email Marketing
Overall, Mailchimp has been an excellent choice for my email marketing needs. It's a great option to start with, especially due to its free plan. If the cost becomes prohibitive as your email list grows, you can always export your contacts and switch to a different platform. Email is a powerful marketing tool, and Mailchimp provides everything you need to create visually appealing emails, automate drip campaigns, and capture leads with forms.
Pros
I love Mailchimp! As a small business owner, it's been great. Starting out with its free plan was a huge plus, and I've been able to grow my email marketing efforts thanks to its easy-to-use features. I especially appreciate the ability to create automated drip campaigns, design beautiful emails, and capture leads with custom forms.
Cons
While Mailchimp has been great for me, there are a few drawbacks. Once you surpass the free plan's limits, the cost can quickly escalate. Additionally, designing emails on a mobile device or tablet can be a bit cumbersome, and I've occasionally encountered glitches when sending longer emails on desktop.

Mailchimp is as good as other more expensive competitors
I've used Mailchimp on and off for around 20 years. I'm starting a new business now, and although I'll shop around, I know I will be back to Mailchimp. I've never had any issues with emails going out, campaigns have been smooth. I can brand my emails and I'm trying to love analytics. The webforms are invaluable and there are always improvements and new features.
My final note - there are so many email marketers now. Go with one that's beeb around a long time, like Mailchimp
Pros
I've used most email marketing software but I always come back to Mailchimp. A huge bonus for anyone new to this form of marketing is that you can build and grow a list for free until you reach 500 subscribers. This gives new businesses the time to get to know the system, send emails and learn about analytics before committing to a paid plan. A lot of competitors offer a free month but Mailchimp goes further. And I've always reached that 500 quickly without that added pressure.
Cons
I personally have found the interface not as clear as it could be. Mailchimp is a machine and I have to focus on each part at a time. I always find something new it can do. That's fun to try out though. It does take some getting used to. Start with the emailing and tack the rest on.
Reasons for Switching to Mailchimp
I used Brevo when it clear blue, if I remember it was quite boring and expensive. I used Constant Contact for years as it was tied with my third party software on my website. I would look at it again but Mailchimp has always been a favourite.

Great industry standard but sometimes overly complicated and expensive
I've used Mailchimp at two organisations and it makes it easy to send professional-looking emails to a large number of contacts. I only used the more basic functions as my organisation was very small, but there were a lot of other features I could have used if I needed to. It was generally easy to use their email editor but there were some funny quirks about it that made it more complicated than necessary in my opinion. Our favorite features include: email template creation, duplicating campaigns to use over and over as we need them, scheduling campaigns in the future making easy to "set it and forget it" giving our employees the ability to complete other tasks. Tracking our emails and who and when they were read is also a very valuable tool.
Cons
There are some limitations within the free version of the software. However, there are plenty of features to take advantage of without spending any money.

A good overall platform, but there are better values out there
I use Mailchimp for a few of my clients (I run a marketing agency). I've used Mailchimp to create monthly newsletter-style emails as well as automated welcome campaigns to nurture new leads. It has served my needs and the needs of my clients well.
Pros
Mailchimp is pretty user-friendly (especially the new email builder), easy to get set-up and has all of the features you'd want in an email marketing system.
Cons
Mailchimp used to have a VERY generous free plan, but have recently changed their structure for the free plan as well as raised their prices. While it is a good service, I think there are better values in the market.

Mailchimp For Easy Email Marketing
Pros
Mailchimp is a great addition to our marketing channels. Integrates with our website, allowing for effortless data capture. Mailing lists can be easily created and managed, and there are a robust selection of tools and templates available. We also make use of the messaging plug in.
Cons
Subscriber based billing system - the more subscribers you have, the more you'll pay, which is par for the course, but it does encourage you to regularly cleanse your data and keep records up to date.

Mixed Experience with Mailchimp
In the beginning, I found Mailchimp easy to use for my email marketing needs, especially as I run a nanny agency. However, things took a turn when a hired worker added her name to my marketing email account without my knowledge. After she left, I realized the issue, but despite speaking with a representative and sending several emails asking for help, I didn’t receive the support I needed to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, I had to start from scratch with a different platform. It was frustrating because I had invested time into setting everything up, only to be left without a proper solution from Mailchimp.
Pros
The interface is user-friendly, and it’s easy to get started with email campaigns.
Cons
Customer support was disappointing when I encountered issues. They couldn’t help fix a major problem, and I had to switch to another service as a result.

Design your emails with Mailchimp!
It's been very pleasant. I'm able to create emails quickly. They're very helpful with advice on how to reach more engagement.
Pros
It's easy to use. I've tried other services to design and send emails with but I always came back to Mailchimp.
Cons
I wish there were more design features or made easier to insert custom code.

Incredible email management tools
I enjoy using mailchimp because of its flexible and easy setup, it is perfect for email marketing and management with step by step suggestions built into it, I strongly recommend
Pros
It's easy to setup with editable templates for suggestive email samples
Cons
While importing files, you have it follow a format of names and email, it does not allow for a flexible contact type of email only and it's become costly when you have a larger email database to manage
