Acuity Scheduling has an auto scheduling feature that makes it easy to schedule for meetings automatically without my intervention. I like how well designed the user interface is and how easy it makes to interact with all the available features. Acuity Scheduling also has automated notifications and reminders that keep me on alert to never forget a scheduled meeting.

For the long period i have used Acuity Scheduling, i have not come across anything I don't like. All features are outstanding.

The ease of use on the provider-facing platform. Our patients reported ease with the ability to see all services and to book through the Acuity Scheduling platform.

The SOAP note capabilities was the only con that I can think of; being able to take thorough notes is crucial for us and the way notes are setup for sessions was a bit time consuming.

It is easy to use and has a very friendly and lightweight user interface. It was also easy to customize and adjust Acuity Scheduling settings in order to fit our scheduling needs. Acuity Scheduling also has very superior data safety and protection functions that keeps all our sensitive calendar and scheduling information secure. Acuity Scheduling also has auto reminders that ensure we do not miss our schedules.

Acuity Scheduling has very efficient functions and we are yet to find anything that does not work correctly. There is nothing to complain for now.

Beyond it all has been how easy and straightforward it was to learn how to use Acuity Scheduling to create meeting schedules. I have also had an amazing experience with the task automations that help automatically find the right date and time to schedule for a meeting. Acuity Scheduling also has excellent reminders that ensures that am always on the know about upcoming scheduled meetings. Its activity dashboard provides a clear picture of all my scheduling activities making ot easy to track them.

I have loved everything about Acuity Scheduling interface, the way it is setup and how intuitive and user-friendly it is to work with. Acuity Scheduling also allows setting up of automation workflows to automate scheduling making it to take less time and less labour input. With the quick integration with my calendar, am able to see all my calendar activities before scheduling a meeting making it easy to find the perfect time to schedule a new meeting.

Acuity Scheduling is on time-based events, so it's not a solution for multi-day events, industries like hotels, and bed and breakfasts. Acuity data does not transfer into the Squarespace Contacts system either - or sync with the email marketing platform from Squarespace.

The communication is top tier. There is a significant decrease in scheduling conflicts. Time management is spectacular. There are real-time availability updates, which is nice. Booking appointments is made easy along with rescheduling or updating them.

The pricing is a little off just because you have to pay more for what you need but then receive far too much more than needed. There is no middle ground. Also there are some scheduling limits. Other than that all can be overcome and/or worked through.

The things I like most are the ability to set up multiple calendars to control when people are booking into my calendar and how many time slots for each different kind of meeting I can plan a day! My calendar manages itself!

How after 12 months our account just randomly, with no explanation or reason was wiped. We lost everything. All of our bookings, client data, ability to make new bookings. Thousands of dollars was lost and it was a truly infuriating experience. Support is advertised as 24 hours but I can tell you it’s not!! Takes around 12 hours to get an email reply and this is the only way to contact them. Awful awful awful

Acuity is a simple and clean piece of software that is straightforward and insightful. It provides enough flexibility to be used in a number of applications. For our sports training business it allowed up to separate appointment types, create custom calendars and send notifications. I really liked that it interacted with our website so clients didnt have to leave our site to book a session.

Cons

Reporting in acuity is a bit clunky for how we used the software. Instead of going off package pricing, acuity uses per session pricing which makes our revenue numbers look great but they are inaccurate. Additionally there are limited customization options for the booking pages unless you have advanced knowledge of CSS styling.

Acuity does not make using it easy to learn, navigate or figure out. Their help features really stink. They have all this writing you can put into your availability type. I thought this was emailed to the client when they received their link. So I put all this time into writing up my parameters etc. and no one was following them. Finally I figured out that it is only shown when someone is scheduling and since I schedule in my coaching clients they never even see it! I didn't figure this out for 2 years! I still don't know how to put the writing in the correct place. I see it with other's using acuity. I also hate the interface. I love Calendy's interface. Clean, simple, intuitive. Acuities is very program or techy and not intuitive. Also, when you export your client into it does not keep all their appointment info which is what I needed and so I lost all that data and there is no way to export it. And, I didn't know I would be loosing it until it was already done.

We are able to create appointments for the different services we offer while customizing it to including details like duration, prices, description and images to highlight those services. As a staff member Iam added in the acuity and it allows me to find upcoming appointments and manage booking. I have also managed to create my own calendar soo I can be booked personally and enables me enter the specific hours Iam a available which I have synced with my personal email for notifications and alerts. It is also easy to offer discounts for those diehard clients soo that we off some amount on their next appointment. Integrating it with stripe payments has streamlined the collection of online payment during booking and record payments made in person. Lastly tracking the use of Acuity Scheduling using the report functionality allows for improvement.

I love that patients can schedule and manage their own appointments. It doesn't require an email exchange with me to do so which is nice. Another real game changer was the lack of administrative time spent on sending out reminders manually. I actually get to take the time I was spending on scheduling, rescheduling, and reminding and direct that energy to patient care.

Cons

The only minor drawback is that some patients have reported difficulties figuring out how to cancel or see their appointments. These complaints are usually from less tech-savvy folks. I created a standard email for how to save appointments to their calendar and how to log into Acuity to see appointments if you didn't. It cuts down a lot on questions.

We use Acuity Scheduling to reserve our meeting room space. Acuity has automated our booking and payment process so clients can book online without needing to work with a human. Payments are processed through Stripe and are deposited directly into our business bank account in a matter of days. Acuity has reminder email and SMS available to help eliminate no shows. Acuity also integrates with Google Calendar so you can quickly check for upcoming meetings on your phone.

I wish we didn't have to login to Stripe to issue refunds when meetings are cancelled. It would be nice if there were a front-end experience in Acuity.

There are some limitations with add-ons. We sell pots of coffee as an add on, and there's no way for a customer to select how many pots of coffee they would like to purchase. Add ons are limited to checkboxes, no quantities.
