Just made the leap
We just implemented with AutoLeap and are less than one week into it and I've already had customers praise the new scheduling functionality and digital inspections. These were two key areas we were looking for improvement on and definitely found it with AutoLeap!
Pros
The reason we switched to AutoLeap is to take advantage of their fully integrated online appointment scheduling. Other applications on the market are not able to integrate into online scheduling which creates a slow and often negative customer experience. Using AutoLeaps marketing essentials in combination with AutoLeap allows us to have a smooth and seamless customer online scheduling experience. We also leverage digital inspections and love it. Parts ordering has become much more efficient for my service advisors as they have an integrated ordering workbench that shows our integrated suppliers and who has availability without having to exit programs and enter three or more ordering portals. Such a more efficient process.
Cons
AutoLeap continues to improve functionality and the only area I feel that could improve somewhat on it's workbench is the marketing workbench. There are limited templates and options when creating a custom template.

Would highly suggest to any shop old or new to switch.
The team they have there is so helpful when it comes to setting up and getting everything started, we thought it was going to be a nightmare to switch programs but they made it seamless and they have a great way of setting up going live.
Pros
How easy it is to go from making an appointment to ordering the parts directly from the same page to sending reminders. The software helps with my business so much.
Cons
I have not come across anything I dislike about the program.

glitch riddled and contract happy. dont waste your money or time.
You pay a lot for a system that isn't any better than the others that are cheaper. Every time they would add an update to the software, they would have other issues after. At the time of writing this, I am still dealing with customer info being removed from tickets every time i enter back into a ticket. they apparently fixed this issue but it is still present.
When i tried to leave, they told me my contract automatically renewed (without my approval or knowing) and they wont let me leave the contract even though i've made it very clear the system doesnt work for my shop.
fyi, no other shop management system does this and autoleap is the most expensive system out there and yet is a good ways behind the other systems you can get.
Pros
Product has a lot of cool features (although most other softwares have the same features)
the support team was quick to respond when there were issues (there have been plenty in just a year)
Cons
Software is full of glitches and errors.
The web app often freezes and the inspections are problematic. Often inspections would come back incomplete and we would lose all data and details of the inspection.
You cant record more than a few seconds of video for inspections so its totally pointless to have them on there.
Pay attention to the contract you're signing. the contract states they can renew your contract every year without your approval and without giving you a heads up. It doesn't bode well for a company when they feel the need to hold you into a contract to get you to stay and pay them money. all the other software we have used were month to month because they believe they have to earn your business every month and if you need to leave to better your business then they are more than happy to let you leave. autoleap however does not operate that way and will not let you leave even if their software isnt working for your business.
there are no 3rd party integrations with autoleap, so dont expect to be able to add any of the other awesome 3rd party systems that can make your business thrive.
Autoleap wants you to rely on them and them alone.

Loving it!
Overall, im very happy with the program. Ive found it to speed up my inspection and repair times and provide for easier access to more accurate diagnostics.
Pros
Smooth usage between laptop, tablet and cellphone even for an app based program. Enjoy the direct access Prodemand and Mitchell and the ability to hilight notes and concern points for the service managers to be able to bring tk the customers attention while i continue on with the diagnosis, repair or inspection.
Cons
A bit laggy, we have found that at the shop at times it will highlight with an odd error for vehicle model year on the laptop side of the program, but on the phone or tablet itll work with no issues, you just have to transfer out. Another issue weve had is when trying to access mitchell, it will start to load a secondary page and subsequently crash both pages, forcing a restart of the inspection or repair timing.

Great software
Easy to go thru the whole system, also I love the customer interactions thru the system, messages, appointments approvals, etc.
Pros
I highly recommend AutoLeap, it works perfectly fine for my shop. Haaris Kirmani guide me thru the whole process and help me out with all details so I can understand all the features and now I can take full advantage of all the features that AutoLeap offer me. AutoLeap software help me and my shop to be more professional.
Cons
At this moment I have no cons with AutoLeap software.

Autoleap is an easy to use modern shop management platform
We have been using Autoleap for one month and are still familiarizing ourselves with the system, but we are satisfied with the results thus far.

I had such a good experience and enjoyed my time learning the program.

I really liked how everyone I interacted with was so helpful and cared about my questions and concerns! I did not feel alone in the process and they made sure to check in with me frequently!! With new programs, it's easy to feel lost and confused and I felt confident going to Julia or any other team member to ask questions! Thank you!

I really enjoy everything about AutoLeap. I wasn't thrilled about the onboarding meetings initially but it makes so much sense on why the team implements the program in this way!! I am usually the type of person to just "go with it" and figure it out on my own! With AutoLeap, I expected the same but was met with a positive surprise of the entire team caring about my understanding of the program before going "live" with our shop! The meetings and onboarding helped so much!!

Stressful because there is so much to learn in a short amount of time. I did not feel that the training offered in the group setting was helpful but once Chelsea and I were able to have training sessions one on one I was able to learn much more and relay that information to my team.
Pros
Chelsea was very informative and super willing to help us adapt to the new system.
Cons
The payroll tracking is not easy because we work on a commissions based pay, however we have found some work arounds that seem to be doing okay.

Best Automotive Repair Center Software
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience. Our onboarding person was amazing, and their live chat support is responsive and helpful. Despite the lack of some features on our wishlist, we have found the software essential to the success of our business.
Pros
The best part about AutoLeap is getting all the features you need to run your shop effectively and efficiently. Their all-in-one approach gives you functionality and features through almost all of the customer lifecycle.
Cons
Lack of API integration: This is important because AutoLeap is NOT a customer acquisition software; it is for shop operations, and it should focus on that. Having an API would allow for integration with other purpose-built marketing platforms for that use case.
Lack of bring your own number or voice integration: The SMS texting feature built into AutoLeap is handy, but it creates a customer experience issue as there are no voice integration options. If someone calls the number, they get a generic "not in service" announcement. It would be of use to at least allow for forwarding of those calls to your shop's number.

So-so. It is not as easy as I expected, but hopefully, they will improve.

Some services I expected to have were not included, such as basic service notifications for customers, PartsTech is really not as good as just calling the local parts store, and there is no user-friendly mobile app.

Great auto shop management software to streamline a variety of operations.
Auto Leap is a very intuitive software, easy to set up and offers an amazing support team that are always there to provide guidance through any issue. Service Manager's Review on AutoLeap
So far it has been great. The communication between the front office and the back shop has never been more streamlined. Tracking metrics have never been easier. It also a big plus when the team is always open for feedback.
Pros
Compared to our old system, it was like a breath of fresh air. UI was intuitive and easy to learn. On boarding with them was a breeze (especially with their support team). Shoutout to [sensitive content hidden]!
Cons
Like all new things, getting used to the new system took a bit of time but with the help of the support team it became lest of a daunting task.

Saw the advantages and didn't hesitate

Amazing staff and sub par software with amazing potential
The people at auto leap are amazing! They went over and above to help us get going when we signed on! I have 0 complaints about that part. The software however is lacking in many areas and reliability is sub par.
Pros
At face value and based on what they tell you and demonstrate in the software it has the potential to be an amazing shop management software.
Cons
Once you start using it you realize it's not at all what they demonstrated to you. Key features that are meant to make the software more useful do not function as intended. Notifications are useless and not really customizable. Text messaging is also almost useless. We have had problems with over 50% of our messages not going through to customers (autoleap is blaming it on customers spam blockers). You can't tell if you have a new message or not because if you send someone a message it shows up as a new message notification until you close the chat. 90% of the time we try to use parts tech to order parts we are met with an error message and have to close and reopen the browser. Since we have been using the software the payments screen will not load on the first try and sometimes it requires refreshing the page multiple times before you are able to take the payment from the customer. The formatting on the printed invoices is terrible and many of the fields print outside the boxes they are intended to fit in or you can reduce the size of the text to make it fit but then it makes them very difficult for customers to read. I was also told that getting support was very easy and you can either get text support of call in and speak to someone. Text support has been generally quick to respond however it is slow and sometimes difficult to use text support for more complex issues. We have called in 4 times for phone support on something more complex and 3 of the 4 times we got a message that no one was available and the 4th time someone in sales answered and said they would deliver a message to support and no one called me back.

No complaints after 3 months of using it every day

User friendly way better than Alldata
Easy to comprise packages for billing
Has many options for billing
Was able to merge our Alldata customer database and repair history to autoleap for easy lookup
The people at autoleap helped us learn and use there system on a daily basis for over a month,they have a great team
[sensitive content hidden] both have help a lot with set and making sure on a daily basis we were up and running and able to bill out our customers
We were having trouble with Alldata’s new automotive billing system and there people were not helpful at all nobody at all Alldata will follow up or follow thru to help
We were with Alldata for over 18 years
We were scared to change systems for over 6 months then we made the move October 2024 to autoleap and we should done it sooner

Being able to look up car without tying to carfax for motor cataloging system
You have to manually lookup the license plates and vin on another website and then copy and past to autoleap

Amazing System for Auto Shops!
Has been an amazing transition and very easy to train due to the amazing staff at Auto leap.
Pros
Very simplified system that saves time due to the amazing features such as parts Ordering, being able to send for approvals and invoicing, and a chat box that a real person responds within a minute to help with any technical difficulties
Cons
We are on the least for some enhancements that we are liking to make the system best for us such as more attachments being added to a RO. We are excited to see how long it takes for an enhancement to be updated within the system and have high hopes.

From Mitchell to Autoleap
It's not bad for the price. Overall, if this was my first software experience as a service advisor, I think I would fall short of learning correctly. When comparing the wiring diagrams on AutoLeap compared to ProDemand, there is no question that autoleap has a lot of fine tuning to do.
Pros
Sending estimate and invoices electronically. Approval process is easy. Chat box is easy.
Cons
No wiring diagrams like ProDemand.

Archiving an estimate shows in recent reports as "unpaid" which causes us to never archive any estimates. This created clutter
The tiles are so big. Why not just have the vehicles and client names listed. It makes it difficult to find a vehicle unless we memorize the clients name.

AutoLeap has exciting features that are far too clunky to USE!
I feel like the sales team and the engineering team need to work together to truly understand the true limitations of the system. The conversion to AutoLeap was a true challenge and having to reverse migrate after only two weeks is a tough pill to swallow.
Pros
I love that the CRM is integrated into the shop management system with easy access to customer reviews (internal and Google) but the CRM is actually so limited that it prevents you from utilizing your own data for other marketing campaigns such as direct mail. Additionally the CRM is limited to actual customers and does not work with mailing lists.
Cons
The reporting features are limited. Once an invoice is completed there is no way to make changes to it such as correcting a technician or a cost of a part. Additionally, technician efficiency reporting is strange and hard to understand. I have used multiple systems including TekMetric, RO Writer, ShopWare, AllData Manage and others and have never had such a difficult time understanding my KPI metrics.

Gives the little guy Big guy tools to compete
Transformative is the word I would use to describe Autoleap. I believe that now I have all the tools to succeed in managing a shop. Now if Autoleap could only make a version of me, I would know I could succeed. What I mean is if I fail now, I only have me to blame. Maybe this observation should have been put in the Cons, Ha! I am sure my Shop will do well as long as I keep on top of the Autoleap program. It really is a life saver for Shop Management
Pros
Starting out any business is difficult, demanding, and intense. Autoleap gives the little guy just starting out a virtual office assistant to manage Customer data, vehicle data, parts ordering, parts purchasing, estimates, scheduling of work, invoicing, payment processing, and internet presence. When the co owner is doing repairs on vehicles he is also using Autoleap to order parts, get estimate approvals over text or email, and schedule service for the days of the week. No more scraps of paper or questions wondering - hey did we order the parts for the suspension job on the Subaru?- Autoleap has all the data saved and easily accessed to organize the entire workflow.
Yes, but how does an Ape with a computer learn all of these processes? Surely it must be a steep learning curve. Nopes. The Autoleap Orientation team walked us through every possible function of the software until we knew what we were doing. Fortunately we were using the software as we went thru the orientation, so we organically had questions and were working through discovering more functions as we learned more about the software. The Autoleap team is extremely attentive and answer all questions quickly and courteously. The help bar in the Autoloeap Dashboard actually is useful. The help desk attendants were also always on call and ready to train us Ludites on all functions without giving us a mental breakdown or furling our brows in total frustration.
Cons
The thing with this software is that its new, and constantly evolving. If I did have a complaint it would probably be fixed before you read this. So far we have not had any negatives, and are reaping the benefits of a company that caters to their own needs as they arise in problems.

Super easy, user friendly and efficient!
Great, easy and efficient. It's been a great transition so far.
Pros
Very easy to implement, as AutoLeap customer service was fantastic and helped us every step of the way ... from day one to going live and beyond, making sure that we transitioned fully. The system is easy to use and easy to train the staff. We have become a much more efficient company already!
Cons
We still have a few kinks that we are smoothing out, but AutoLeap has been great at resolving our issues as they come along.

Great for our needs
Excellent experience with setup, training, and explaining the features. We were definitely being sold, however they also identified the features we would benefit from most and homed in on training us with them.
Pros
Ease of setup, lots of organizational features, lots of hand holding and help during the training and learning stages early on.
Cons
The text message feature is glitchy, doesn't show all of the reminders that the customers get so sometimes we do not know what they're replying to.

Great Product/ Great Support
Overall a great experience and was impressed with the product as well as the ever so important on-boarding support . We were planning to launch / pilot autoleap at one shop and wait 6 -12 months to roll out to our 2nd larger shop, however after 2 weeks of running live, we are about to start rollout at shop #2 shop within the next 48 hours
Pros
The live support / on-boarding they provided was outstanding. [sensitive content hidden] was always available and patience to answer all of our questions. Anything he couldn’t answer, he was sure to get back to us in a timely manner.
Cons
There are some limitations which might be shop / country specific, however they appear to be constantly working on enhancements and improvement. Specific example of this would be some issues with reporting sales taxes (breaking them down for reporting).

I am very happy with everything that auto leap has to offer. I think it was a great investment
Pros
All the features are great. Lots to Offer. Just like any new system you have to learn it. The training videos are great but honestly just get lost in the system don't be afraid to click on things. When you are in a pinch there is always someone right there to chat with you and they can help you by screen sharing and walking you through it.
Cons
Can look anything up older then 1985. For example looking up a brake job and they want pads and rotors you have to click on both wish there was a option that had them both blended together.

AutoLeap has made working here unenjoyable. The roll out was rough and after weeks of use, I am still struggling with many aspects of using AutoLeap.
Pros
I can see some potential in the product, however the program is not yet helpful, as many updates and improvements still being made are slowing the real time performance. Roll out was too soon. Difficult and time consuming to use.

Overall, we are so happy with AutoLeap. The software offers so much value for the cost and we are impressed with how easy it makes the bookkeeping for Auto Repair shops.

I do the bookkeeping for a few auto repair shops. They use Auto Leap and it is amazing. It offers so many features for management on the shop side and it integrates so seamlessly with Quickbooks Online.

Helpful CS during switch over

Customer service has been great working with our SA's chaotic schedule. We are only a couple weeks into using it but have found it useful.

Make the switch
[sensitive content hidden] in implementation was phenomenal. She really helped us get up to speed, was available for all my questions, offered to host multiple meetings to ensure i was comfortable with the system before going live. Since going live with AutoLeap, We have seen an increase in customer communications, less missed appointments, and we can track tech efficiency with the time clock option. Overall, AutoLeap was a great move for my shop and we look forward to growing our shop with AutoLeap.
Pros
Ease of access & cloud based platform can be accessed from any computer, unlike our previous SMS where we had to be at the shop to view reports , schedule and more. The help feature is fantastic when I'm experiencing an issue, I never have to leave AutoLeap or sit on an extended hold for tech support.
Cons
Motor Repair Guide is not up to speed like Mitchell 1 or All data. There is a lot of missing / incorrect labor times in their catalog. Makes building estimates a bit harder vs Mitchell 1
