Disappointed with support
When we needed to transfer a number, it took over 30 days and support was unresponsive with no phone option. It generally took over 2 days to get an email response.
At one point we even lost the number temporarily because support would not provide the appropriate codes
Pros
The ease of setup was nice. It was pretty smooth. Finding the right phone number could have been done with a better interface though.
Cons
The cost is high for the level of service provide.
Support is impossible to deal with. As an IT professional with over 20 years managing support operations, this is really unacceptable.

Great solution for small business call tracking
Have been using them for a little over a year and it's been smooth so far.
Pros
Their pricing was the most competitive for our needs.
Cons
Their website logs you out after X amount of time inactive. I like to keep the inbox up all day long so I can monitor incoming calls, but that is not possible without constantly going back to the tab every so often and refreshing it to stay logged in. I wish that was able to be revised.

VERY responsive when I have questions. Also easy to use again. There were some things that were not needed or I didn't have as features and it cluttered up my user experience in the interface but once I got it down I know where to go now.

Highly recommend for an easy upgrade to your business!
We have used 800.com for a few years now. We absolutely love the professional look that it gives our company. It also gives our customers an easy to remember phone number especially when they are seeing our vehicles while driving past theirs. We love being able to send and receive text messages as well. They have an online portal and an app. We keep the app on all our phones because there is a way to transfer the 800 number to other phone numbers. We use this often when we go on vacation and love the ease of forwarding the calls to our office manager. We keep our account on autopay as well, so it makes it even easier to not have to think about paying it each month. I highly recommend to any company who has been thinking about getting an 800 number!

We love that you can access 800.com through the website or the app. You can transfer the 800 number to any existing number with much ease. This makes it easy to transfer to various employees or numbers for any reason. We love the professional look it gives our company with a number easy to remember for our clients.
Cons
Only issue we had was needing to be "verified". This caused a bit of an issue because in order to be able to send text messages to our customers from the 800 number, we needed to have our website developers add in an opt in/out button. This didn't make much sense considering we only text our customers if they request it or if they send us something. But it was an easy fix and as long as you're not texting from the 800 number, it's not required.

I have been using 800.com for years in my businesses. Even though the 800 as in toll free concept is not really needed any longer, the features and functions that we use make our marketing and customer response lives much easier.

When you never, ever have a reason to contact a company's customer service department, that is a good thing! It means you are getting everything you expect from the service. That has been my experience with 800.com for the entire time I have used it.

Sometimes what you want most from a service is for to just to work the way you expect -- all the time. That has been my experience with 800.com for the past 7 years. I rarely (if ever) log into my 800.com account because there is no reason to -- my 800# just does exactly what I want it to do day in and day out. What more could you want?

Pretty good. Like the cutomer service. We have been using it ove the year and had no compalints with the website or apps on our phone.
Pros
Great customer service. Very easy to get a hold of.
Cons
Frustrated with how complicted it is to make a campain. I am really confused about it. I just want to be able to text customers with the number. There are alot of customers that want to text and email.

Excellent Service/Product
Excellent service. Of all the other phone services I researched, this one was the most economical for all the options offered.
Pros
Great pricing, and works very well. The recorded messages, call forwarding and notifications are very good.
Cons
It was a little difficult to set up hold and answering messages.

Easy to use with online portal to create presets for incoming calls.
Pros
The 800.com number has been a lifesaver. I am a solopreneur and only have my cell, no landline. I used to get heaps of solicitors calling at all hours. 800.com allows me to create a barrier between my business and my cell using presets. I can give customers my cell to call/text directly if they need urgent help. Otherwise marketers/solicitors leave a message. It’s brilliant!
Cons
Robo and 1-800 spam calls can still get through presets.

Overall, its doable for my small business needs. I dont see it as a long-term solution for growth.

Great value and powerful platform.
It was easy and affordable. So far my calls are coming through exactly as expected. The voice mail forward to email and text messaging make it very powerful for a solo.

We have to use EZTexting for most of our texts because we can only use so few characters with 800 text. It didn't used to be that way. When I called to inquire I was told someone was working to fix it Can you let me know if there is a work around? [sensitive content hidden]. Considering cancelling 800 text and just using EZtexting
