Transaction fees are charged on certain payments such as mobile recharge. If I were to go through the carrier and use Google Pay as a payment gateway, there are no transaction charges incurred. But if I try to recharge through Google Pay directly, I need to pay an additional fee.

I like that you can tap with no limit on Google Pay and you can arrange which is your primary card to use on the app. It gives you so many different card functions for you to add or enter the barcode in to use your gift card or loyalty cards in shops. The fact that you can switch between your Google email accounts if need be (personal/ business), Google Pay made this seamless and hassle-free.

For example, it also automatically syncs your cinema ticket or flight ticket (if you allow it) to your wallet within a few easy taps has made my life a lot easier whilst traveling constantly.

Cons

I wish that there may be an archive section for when a gift card or a used flight or cinema ticket can go into, so it doesn't clutter my home page on the Google Wallet app.

I can pay bills and also make purchases using Google play just about anywhere. Its simple to add and remove payment methods. The app is easy to use also that can be used to pay in store using google pay. I also enjoy the feature where you recive an email everytime google pay is used.

Customer support can be slow about getting back to you. Also if you have an issue where you are over charged it can take some time for them to decide how to handle the overcharge.

Well, Google Pay has many such features which we like very much and it is a popular payment system. Being produced by Google, it gives us confidence in data security. Our data is safe. Its biometric authentication process also works properly and it keeps the financial information of the users safe. This also motivates us to use this app. There are many reasons to like it, in which the second reason is that it can also do international transactions, which makes the users feel good and they are able to transfer payments across their borders. Another reason is that on using it, rewards, cashback and many types of offers are also available, by taking advantage of which the user gets a lot of benefit. The fourth reason is that due to NFC technology, contactless payment facility is also available. By using it, we easily overcome the shortage of cash by paying our friends, family and shopkeepers. Along with this, there are other positive reasons due to which we like to use it as a payment system.

Google Pay has many positive aspects, but there are some drawbacks too, which we are talking about, such as charging for many types of transactions like mobile recharge and charging for credit card transactions, we do not like it, another reason is that it does not work properly in old devices or devices with old operating systems, and sometimes the code scan fails, we also do not like doing transactions only up to a limited time, sometimes the payment gets delayed due to the server not working properly, and sometimes it gets stuck in payment processing, the reason for not liking it is that the layout of the app should be attractive and in the right way, its layout is not good compared to other payment apps. We have to make a lot of efforts to reach the customer support center, and another reason is that it leaves a traceable record after the transaction, this is a matter of concern for the users, who like anonymity. Many times when we call for help, the help center people keep the call on hold for a long time and later disconnect the call after giving some other reason or issue, many times the payment process becomes very slow. And the payment gets stuck. And instead of cancelling the payment, it continues for hours to process it, and due to this problem our money gets stuck, and we have to face a lot of trouble, and later the payment is also made again. The company should consider these basic issues

Its security level and data protection is damn good. On many occasions, I go and travel a long way without hardcash, At that time, the only hope for money with me is google pay . It became a companion for me.

Once my bank account linked with google pay is automatically unlinked. At that time I suffer a lot without any hard cash with me. So, they need to improve their relationship with all the banks. Otherwise it will affect the users. And sometimes, when making payment to others money is debited from my account and not credited to them for whom I have sent. Even though the money back is guranteed in this situation, it suffers me a lot.

Almost everywhere takes google pay, the only place that doesn't take it that is annoying is Wal-mart. Hopefully they will start taking it soon! You can add a gift card or any type of debit or credit card to your Google pay which is nice.

Shows a detailed transaction history and Provides option for many different payment modes. Also, we can send money using phone numbers instead of GPay ID and we can use autopay for recurring payments. Not to mention It provides good rewards.

Google Pay is a very good app. I have been using it for the last one or two years. Its interface is also very good. I was facing some problems in other apps, but there is no such problem in Google Pay. This is a very good app for payment. I have found such records of 5, 10, and 15 rupees many times. Even the biggest payments are done easily. Its safety features are also very good, and customer support is also very good. Once, my ₹ 1000 was stuck, but after talking to customer support for a while, my money was returned to my bank account within 7 days. I felt very good talking to customer support. There are many features in the Google Pay app. I can also check my account balance in this app, which is a good thing. New updates keep happening in it.

While checking the account balance, sometimes four-five windows open simultaneously and one has to enter the password again and again, which causes a lot of trouble; otherwise, there is no problem with this app.

The Moovit site was pretty reliable until they decided to charge me for an unauthorized, 6-month subscription. They referred me to Google Pay to get a refund, but Google Pay turned down my request. And, Moovit still hasn't removed my unauthorized subscription. It's hilarious but such bad business practice. I've spoken to my bank and put in a claim to stop the charges and hopefully credit me. Moovit and Google Pay really, really angered me for their bad practice and lack of care.
