Overall, nothing but positive.
Overall, nothing but positive, and the incoming developments are always something to look forward to.
Pros
The platform itself is really user-friendly for the learners, whether accessing via a laptop or mobile phone. For the content creators and admins the support is there so whatever you want to explore, even if you're new to the world of L&D, it's really easy to get going.
Cons
Very little, the one or two points we've raised as 'nice-to-haves' have been taken back to the development team and who knows, they could be implemented in the near future.

Brought our L&D forward although with some challenges
Pros
Using LearnUpon has been a massive improvement on how we deliver our onboarding and training, previously we had relied on Excel and Microsoft Stream. Its relatively simple to upload videos and to add headings. Beyond that I do not have any positives on the system.
Cons
Overall I find the platform cumbersome, slow and difficult to use as an administrator. My main issue is the layout of the platform. You could have 50 courses available on the platform but there is no labeling to tell you how many pages of courses you have, instead you will need to click one by one through the pages to get to the end.
When you create a newer version of a course it will archive the previous course but that archived course will still remain in the courses subpage.
The level of customisation of the platform is limited beyond the simple format of Heading, Text, Video, Quiz. I feel you can't make the course feel like your own system as it follows the same format.
Development of the platform - in the time I used the platform I felt very little progress was made on the platform and how it developed. Communication from our rep was good but not much change happened that stood out to me.

Dialpad Delivery Partner Program was Enhanced with LearnUpon
The support and internaction we receive from our LearnUpon Customer Success Manager gives us informative, proactive updates on many LearnUpon advancements to help improve our program.
Pros
This year, Dialpad launched the Dialpad Delivery Partner Program, which gives our partners the ability to be certified to deploy Dialpad products. LearnUpon provided an effective and useful LMS tool for us to develop the program, manage learning courses, and provide analytics on program activity.
We were able to streamline our approach to chart development, quickly interface with existing course SCORM files, and enhance certification course workflow. Furthermore, the support we receive from our LearnUpon Customer Success Manager gives us informative, proactive updates on many LearnUpon advancements to help improve our program.
Cons
Not a CON, but they continue to innovate and update their product so focus from the customer needs to stay on those advancements.

LearnUpon is a Solid Choice for an LMS
The tool allowed us to scale our operations, is easy to use, and the support has always been helpful the handful of times that we have needed it.

A great LMS - LearnUpon!
For the 2 years I've worked with LearnUpon, it has always been a positive and engaging experience. Their outlook on continuous improvement is great to see and be a part of and I'm excited to see what they do next.
Pros
I like how easy the platform is to navigate and understand. The wide range of features and functionality is great to have. The continuous improvements the platform brings in and is always working on is great to see and be a part of. The customer support team are always quick to respond, very knowledgeable and happy to help with anything.
Cons
The customisable elements of some of the features are a bit restrictive but there are multiple ways of doing things in the platform.
The visual user experience can be a bit limiting

Great onboarding platform
Pros
LearnUpon has greatly improved how we manage and deliver educational content, thanks to its ease of setup and administration. Significant improvements in reporting capabilities now provide detailed analytics that aid in decision-making.
Cons
I wish it could integrate more effectively with Microsoft products and systems, as those are our primary tools. Additionally, the process of creating skills paths still needs significant improvement to be more intuitive and user-friendly.

Great LMS for getting started
Overall positive experience. Easy to get started, and does the job.
Pros
Easy to get up and running quickly. Low cost with comparable features to other vendors.
Cons
There are a few things that just aren't as configurable as I'd like. I've asked to change their how their expiration dates work several times but it does not seem to be a priority (it currently expires before the day it tells you for those in the US)

Top notch LMS with exceptional customer service!
Beyond tracking learning completion, LearnUpon has helped us streamline our learning process, increase employee engagement, and deliver best-in-class results for our clients and employees.
Pros
By far, the best feature of LearnUpon is its people. The customer support they provide is the best I've ever experienced. As far as the system itself: The catalog is very user-friendly and I love the ability to create banners to "advertise" new courses or share announcements. We also leverage the gamification features to encourage engagement and offer swag to monthly top learners. The admin tools also make it easy to maintain all of our content, from SCORM files to media files, embed codes, and documents. We have multiple portals in use which helps keep content better organized by audience and allows us the flexibility to have each portal managed by only the people needed.
Cons
There is one area of the platform that we don't really utilize fully due to its functionality, and that's the forums. I know this is something LearnUpon is looking into updating, and I can't wait to see the improvements.

Great Customer Service, Awesome Staff, and a Quality Product
We looked at twelve Learning Management Systems before choosing LearnUpon. We needed and LMS that would host on a reliable server they maintain, integrate with Salesforce easily, and not break the bank. LearnUpon has delivered on all points, and more. They met, and exceeded, all expectations and continue to improve every month.
Our decision was made several years go. Since signing on with LearnUpon, I have had the pleasure of communicating with several staff members in various scenarios, and all of them are great. I have permission from the reps to call them out personally in this review as outstanding, kind, intelligent, and amazing humans. (To be fair, everyone at LearnUpon is pretty great, but the reps are just too cool for words.)
Pros
It always works; servers do not go down.
Learner issues are minimal. Any problems are usually due to issues outside LearnUpon's control.
24-hour support response is quick, robust, and almost always dead-on.
When you sign up, you get an account manager who helps you through your implementation to suit your workflows.
The team actually listens to upgrade requests and bug reports. I know, because I see solutions implemented. Further, a member of the team usually contacts me to let me know my request was addressed and available in the software.
In addition to listening to upgrade requests and bug reports, the team actually seems happy that I contacted them with an issue. There appears to be a genuine desire to provide the best software and have the happiest group of clients on the planet, which speaks volumes as to the culture at LearnUpon. When your clients can see that you have a great culture, you are winning.
Cons
Support is via email. Sometimes it is time-consuming, or difficult, to communicate and resolve a problem in writing. That being said, I can always email my account manager for complex issues, who is happy to engage via a phone call; typically the same day.
Things you want aren't always discoverable on your own. I have often called in to ask about a feature and am told someone has to flip a switch to activate the option. While I understand that this procedure is to keep the software usable and protect us from ourselves, which I appreciate, I also like the freedom to explore a little more on my own. To be fair, I rarely have time to read the blog posts and other information from LearnUpon. Perhaps these features are mentioned in the blogs.
They do not offer an integrated Learning Record Store, so I haven't had the opportunity to use my xAPI data as robustly as I would like. I actually do not even know what I could do because I do not have a Learning Record Store to play with.

LearnUpon is easy to use as an admin and easy to imp0lement
Easiest LMS I have used to implement and manage.
Pros
I tested several LMS' based on my requirements. The main thing I wanted to see if I could setup content and courses in each without having to dig into the user guide. I found once I figured out were to go for what I wanted to do the setup was easy.
The SAML SSO integration was fairly easy and support was very attentive.
Our Customer Success Specialist has been very helpful and provided a great plan for us to get started. I should have taken advantage of this resource more.
They are in Ireland and we are in California, but you would never even know that when you contact support, they have been very responsive. Even if they did not have the answer they got back quickly to let me know they would get the answer.
Cons
The SSO Integrations was easy, but we are seeing issues with the enrollments not properly being assigned. It is hard to diagnose if this is from our end or LU.
I have noticed a few issues where users are enrolled in learning paths or courses and their dashboard will not display the content.
When you make updates to content (videos or assessments) I have seen a few occasions when the user is supposed to have to re-take the test or course and they cannot. Essentially they are stuck. In fairness, the setup I did caused this issue, but when it was adjusted they were still stuck.
Reports are limited. I really need a monthly Users report, but it does not reside in reports. I have to actually export the Users list, then user Excel to sort and filter. I feel this should be this cannot be a simple automated report.

Hands down the ONLY Learning Management System to consider
Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service. This company never ceases to amaze me when it comes to the hands-on approach they take to customer service. You are assigned a customer success manager from day one, and that individual walks you through the entire process. For us, it was the process of switching from one provider to LearnUpon, and my CSM (Sam) made the process extremely easy. If there is ever a tech issue their tech support help desk is fast to come to the rescue and they treat your issues as seriously as you do.
Pros
This LMS is very user-friendly both from the management side and the learner side. It is visually pleasing to look at, and you don't have to have any coding experience to customize the content and environment to fit your customer's needs and brands.
Cons
If I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find something I didn't like I would say that on occasion there is a "click" too many in a process of creating a course or assessment. With that being said, I have been with LearnUpon now for 2 years and they are constantly improving their platform and I have seen improvement in this area.

A Great Partner
I would wholeheartedly recommend Learnupon as an LMS. They are a cost-effective and customer-responsive company with an excellent product.
Pros
There are two benefits to working with Learnupon. The first is the LMS itself. It is easy to use, has a number of very helpful automated features which save me time and effort, and it integrates well with my authored content. The second benefit is the Learnupon staff. They are available when needed and if there are any problems they quickly follow-up and get my problems taken care of.
Cons
One frustrating thing with any LMS is integration with authored content (e.g. storyline). With authored content sometimes you don't know why things aren't working. Early in my e-learning career, I had a lot of problems getting my authored content to work properly on Learnupon. With some help and coaching from Learnupon, I found that it was mostly the way I was building my projects and, with some restructuring, things are now working great. Learnupon has helped me work through my own learning curve.

Great ROI from LearnUpon & Postive User feedback
LU has enabled Eason to deliver impactful skills development modules and critical knowledge-building interventions with assurances on accuracy and consistency across our store-based workforce. This is achieved without any demand being placed on critical resource in store to deliver new knowledge and skill to the team. I continue to find the LU solution for Eason represents considerable return on our investment. User feedback on programmes hosted on our LU portals strongly suggest that our employees enjoy the learning experience on offer.
Pros
With a workforce in excess of 1,000 employees, many of whom have worked with Eason for over 15 years, almost all staff whether 'tech-savvy' or not, have found our LearnUpon portals to be easy to access, navigate and use.
LearnUpon have made it easy to customise the look and feel of the portal with corporate colours and branding. This has helped to establish online learning within Eason as part of our overall L&D strategy and demonstrates to our teams that the organisation is making strong investment in the development of our people through elearning methodologies.
Finally the support offered by the LearnUpon team means that any issues or requirements are addressed and resolved; far sooner than expected in terms of time, whilst also exceeding expectation on the practicality and usability of solutions offered.
Cons
Very little. Perhaps some additional reporting criteria would be useful when tracking progress across numerous user groups.

Great product backed by a super team of people!
We were one of the early clients and the one factor that consistently keeps us using the platform, above all else, is the fact the level of service from day one (when LearnUpon was only starting out) was amazing. As they have grown to become a leader in the LMS space, that level of service has never changed.
Pros
We have both used and engaged (via clients) with a broad range of LMS products. The LearnUpon solution is by far one of the easiest and effective solutions we have come across. They are constantly looking to increase functionality and in my opinion are working at the edge of the latest developments in LMS solutions.
Cons
Honestly very little! I would like more flexibility around messaging as we deal with both the B2B market and also the B2C. The latter requires more frequency around messaging but we have found simple solutions to work alongside the LearnUpon platform.

Excellent Customer Support & Easy to use!
Our training can be done remotely and without very little help from us for setup and use. Keeps the trainee more interested in learning. Less worry about having to redo old PowerPoint Slides and other documents Constantly.
Pros
I like how easy it is to cost, setup, management, ease of use, branding per company and remote connection from anywhere you have an internet connection. Above everything else the Customer Support is Outstanding and one of the main reasons we chose this company.
Cons
The video functionality and importing. We had to buy a 3rd party app to product content because it LearnUpon does not support certain file types or editing. The upload can take a while depending on how much content and bandwidth you have. We actually found that using a 3rd party app for our videos works better for us than most other software can offer. Ultimately, this inst that bad of a trade-off for the customer support and constant functionality updates to the program.

Good software for learning and development
Overall very positive, it was a helpful learning tool that was easy to use. Would highly recommend due to the high levels of engagement.
Pros
Learnupon was a very simply and engaging software to use during the onboarding process. I really liked the interactive portion of a lot of the learning modules as it kept me engaged and helped me solidify my learning as there would occasionally be tests afterwards.
Cons
Sometimes when I tried to submit a learning module, it would not appear as 100% completed. Not sure if this was a bug or a problem with the administrator of the learning modules.

Feature packed, easy to use, AWESOME support
I've worked with several LMSes and this is by far the best in terms of ease of use, functionality, and customer support, and cost.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Packed with features that are intuitive and that work to your advantage
- Rarely ever have to use workarounds to do what I want
- Customer support is WORLD CLASS.
Cons
- Migration of your transcript information from your old LMS to LearnUpon comes at a fee. The rest of the work (migrating content, migrating users) is up to you.
- Occasionally there are features I wish did a certain thing, and I contacted my success representative and he helps me figure out how to do it a different way! This is very rare!

Easy to use, easy to administer, regardless of the size of employee base.
Quick and easy administration and reporting. LearnUpon also appear to welcome and act upon client feedback and improve their product accordingly.
Pros
The dashboard! I love when an online resource that has lots of functionality provides a dashboard with quick and easy links to the tasks that you typically perform the most. We currently only use a relatively small amount of LearnUpon's functionality so it's great not to have to trawl through all the admin settings to get things done. The reporting is also very useful and easy to navigate.
Cons
I honestly don't have any major issues with the software. In terms of categorising users, I'd like to be able to archive users so I can only see active employees, but I understand why the software presents all users initially.

LMS Extraordinare!
LearnUpon has allowed us to provide options for ILT sessions, taking administration off of the learning team to focus on strategy and design. In addition, LearnUpon puts learning in the hands of the learner!
Pros
This learning system allows for a lot of flexibility in the way it is designed. You are able to setup eLearning, webinars, videos, readings, podcasts / audio, ILT sessions and more! I think the functionality is still growing, but will be maintained in that only relevant features that we need will be added. The LearnUpon team has a great roadmap for development that clearly is based on customer needs for social learning. I think this modern LMS is a strong tool for those interested in implementing an LMS to support their learners' needs.
Cons
Although the menus are easy to get used to, it is not immediately simple to find for new users. Setting up management reporting relationships can be difficult in this system.

Impressed with Learn Upon
I have worked with LearnUpon since 2014 and it has been a very easy, accessible software. I've been very impressed with the process for creating courses, making or updating user accounts, and running reports.
Pros
I really appreciate how the LearnUpon software is easy to use as an admin and as an end user. Navigation is very clear and so much is customizable which has been invaluable for a non-profit that really is unique and unlike others in the field. We have been able to customize Learn Upon for our specific needs to reach our vast audience across PA.
Cons
We had some difficulties in the beginning with required user name needing to be an e-mail in a human service field where technology has always been on the backburner for our audience. Reps worked with us though and we figured out a work around with e-mail styled usernames and opting out of e-mails until as a system the public moved more forward into the tech world because of Covid.

A solid learning platform that we implemented in weeks versus months.
LearnUpon has given us a platform for onboarding, ongoing development, and compliance education for our employees, clients, and partners. We have cut down onboarding from months to weeks. The result is improved CSAT, improved time-to-value, and reduced risk.
Pros
Our organization went from no learning platform to LearnUpon in a matter of weeks. In the past, this process has taken me months with other vendors. LearnUpon's customer services is above average and, coming from me, this says a lot. I'm talking Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Customer Support, and in fact any team member I have ever dealt with. Now, let's talk features and functionality. The implementation was straightforward and our SSO, Teams, and Zoom, integrations were easy. Since LearnUpon was built from the ground up, it has all the fundamental features that one needs to administer users, groups, courses, etc. and learn. My team and I are in the system on a daily basis and we have learners frequenting the system for onboarding, compliance, and development.
Cons
There are a few quirks though. Here are some examples. When a learner is disabled, there is no visual indicator until you click into their profile. There are workarounds; however, these are additional steps. It would be nice to add custom content to a learner's Home page. Also, I'd love a report that tells me what keywords were searched, which ones had results, and which ones did not.

LearnUpon's Ease of Use Matches Their Level of Support
Pros
LearnUpon is incredibly easy to learn. While I am pretty technologically savvy, I had no prior instructional design experience before working with LearnUpon. That wasn't a problem. I am now managing our online learning platform through LearnUpon. While we use the basic features for our needs, someone with just a little more experience would easily be able to create an even more beautiful and user engaging experience. LearnUpon Review
We use LearnUpon to help onboard and train our customer base. We used to do all 1-on-1 training calls which we often found was slow, expensive and not scalable. We decided to rethink how we get our customers educated on the product and found LearnUpon as a potential solution. Since we have implemented the LearnUpon software into our onboarding process, our customers are learning much quicker and able to learn when it's convenient for them resulting in a faster, cheaper and more effective learning experience.
Pros
The ability to create groups and implement dynamic rules within those groups has really allowed us to automate a big portion of the learning experience. The product has been very easy to use and the training materials they supply to you in addition to the implementation consultant made it an enjoyable process. We had not used a LMS prior to LearnUpon so it was very easy to set it up from scratch and learn best practices as we go.
Cons
We really don't have anything negative to say about LearnUpon at the moment as it's done exactly what we hoped it would do and more. Excited to watch it continue to iterate and grow as we do.

Wonderful LMS for our little nonprofit!
We've been partnered with LearnUpon for almost 10 years - that says it all!
Pros
LearnUpon's customer service is absolutely the best thing about them! They are customer-focused and it shows in everything they do!
Cons
Because we train outside of our organization, no LMS platform is perfect for our unique needs.
Reasons for Choosing LearnUpon
At the time, Coursemill was only able to deliver SCORM courses, but we were also doing webinars and live trainings. We needed a one-stop-shop for our learners. Additionally, Coursemill was very difficult to use.Switched From

eLearning for our Customers
Pros
We are currently utilizing LearnUpon for both internal and customer-facing coursework at our company. The learning portals is a great way to separate these courses.
I will say the support is by far my favorite thing - every time my dept has had an issue our CSM and support assignees were quick to jump on a call, respond to an email, and even followed up to make sure we were happy. Top notch.
Cons
I do wish there was an easier way to showcase which courses should be taken before other courses - we are constantly adding courses and want to make sure the most useful learning paths are still displayed front and center. Prerequisite courses would be a nice feature (IE - Course A must be completed before Course B even appears. Or even better, course B appears but clearly states course A must be completed first.

LearnUpon is an Extension of Who We Are
My business utilizes training to implement corporate compliance goals and programs. The LU LMS, the LU staff, the LU customer interactions (all of them), and their genuine interest in us as customers and people puts LU in a rare, very spartan-populated category: business support that I absolutely can count on to make me feel good, look good and work well.
Pros
We were one of the first dozen or so customers of LU from over a decade ago. Their Learning Management System software has evolved over time to the point where I view their changes as opportunities to possibly improve relationships with MY customers. That commitment to help US to improve our business outreach came to be how we view the people, the philosophy and the approach LearnUpon represents to us.
It's challenging to pick the aspect of the LU LMS I like the "most": the fact that after the initial learning curve is complete, it is easy and time efficient to use LU would probably be my favorite aspect. My customers would agree with me too.
Cons
It would be nice if LU had an in-house capability that could take our content and add some attractive visual elements as well as offering some suggestions to review and optimize our interaction and use of the LMS.

Fantastic support and great solution for corporate learning
Over the years I have been a very demanding customer and an ill tempered one at that when I was stressed out about things not at all related to the learning management system. Every time I was grumpy the support guys and gals were supportive and patient with me and focused on helping me in whatever query I had. I built my business with Learnupon as its backbone and never regret the decision. I am proud to be one of their first 100 customers and delighted to see them with over 1000 now. I celebrated my first big contract with a bottle of champagne with the Learnupon Staff in their headquarters, was invited to a customer appreciation evening with canapés when they moved to bigger premises, and they sent my wife flowers on the birth of our daughter... what more can I say? They are integral to my business now and I deeply appreciate the ongoing support and product developments which make the system bigger and better every year. Thanks Learnupon.com and keep up the great work!
Pros
I found the LMS to be very user friendly and very importantly whenever I had an issue of a problem doing something, or as was more likely the case, whenever I screwed something up, the Learnupon support were there to save the day and provide a solution.
Cons
At the start (I am with them over 5 years now) I didn't like the e-commerce side but it was significantly improved over time and most importantly, an integration was created to work with Shopify and Zapier which has really transformed my business.
Reasons for Choosing LearnUpon
At the time I was using a hosted version of docebo and they went into the cloud LMS business but when I compared the systems at the time I felt Learnupon offered a less complicated user experience for my learners. UX is key when on-boarding students and I still believe the experience with Learnupon.com is the best for my students.Switched From
DoceboReasons for Switching to LearnUpon
I chose Learnupon.com because I found them to have the best customer service and easiest implementation for my online academy. Admin-Friendly Platform with Great Customer Support
With a tight timeline to move off of our previous platform, we found the LearnUpon team to be extremely accommodating. Our onboarding & implementation specialist went above and beyond to dedicate additional training and support hours for our team, and helped us get up-and-running on the platform in record time. Their technical support team is extremely responsive and helpful, as is our dedicated CSM. While the platform itself may not be the most robust in the LMS space, I find their UI to be very clean, easy to navigate, and has all of the standard functionality that any good LMS should. This is a great platform for L&D professionals that are just getting started with an e-learning training program, and/or platform Admins that don't want to get bogged down with regular backend LMS maintenance.
Pros
The LearnUpon platform is very easy to get started on; we had a quick turnaround to make from our previous vendor platform, and were able to get up-and-running in less than three weeks. Their multi-portal capabilities have made it fairly easy to manage our customer, employee, and partner training programs on one platform, while still being able to create unique learning experiences for our three audiences. Their Salesforce integration allows for automated user management (which is especially value to smaller enablement teams like ours), and has given us the ability to create fairly robust Salesforce reports and dashboards based on learner activity. Customer support is, by far, one of the biggest advantages to working with LearnUpon. We've had a fantastic sales and onboarding experience, and their CSM and their technical support teams are extremely responsive and thorough. The UI itself is very clean and modern, and I find it to be fairly user-friendly from a learner perspective.
Cons
The capabilities of "Manager"-level users (a permission set that sits between and Admin and a Learner) are a bit limited. The learning path user experience is not the best, but is something that is on their product roadmap to improve. Not necessarily a drawback for us, but the platform UI is not customizable beyond branding and colors, and some additional settings that can be toggled on and off (like gamification, for example), so if you're looking for a platform that is highly customizable, this probably isn't a good fit for you.

Easy for all with consistently responsive customer service
An excellent addition to the business that has freed up staff time for coaching activities, streamlined the training function and enabled us to deliver a more comprehensive supported learning pathway for a remotely based network of staff.
Pros
It is quick and easy to develop content without the need for complex software and programmers. Our interactive courses achieve 5 star reviews simply using the tools provided with the system.
All of our candidates, which now number in the hundreds, are able to navigate the system and complete our courses on a wide range of devices. We were concerned that candidates would need technical support we would be unable to deliver. We did not need to worry, technical queries for candidates have been almost non existent. The small number raised by our administrators and course developers have been answered and resolved quickly thanks to LearnUpon’s fantastic team.
Cons
There isn’t anything we don’t like. More tools to help non developers create interactive courses would always be helpful in future developments to help us keep creating. One observation, the current pricing could divert small businesses from dipping their toe which would be a shame given they are the businesses that can most benefit from such a user friendly tool that doesn’t require an army of expensive developers, programmers and in-house computer experts.
