We have found it very easy to set up our VOIP phones, auto-attendants, cell phone apps etc. Intermedia Unite is a very clean, easy-to-use interface compared to other VOIP providers we've had in the past. When we have needed support, their team is very responsive and well-trained, and they escalate to the next tier without delay when that is necessary.

Great phone to email integration of voice message system for quality service
It's been a very good addition to our business and helps us operate much more efficiently and effectively, especially when we have to go into the field or are out of the office traveling - we can take and place calls and it 'looks like' we're in the office.
Pros
Seamlessly integrates into our email system so all VM's are sent to our email with a voice to text transcript along with the actual audio recording. Super nice functionality and even with heavy accents, you can always listen to the VM when the transcription doesn't "get it" word for word.
Cons
Can't figure out how to set a different and unique ring tone for my cell phone to let me know it's the "office line' ringing. Also, can't turn down the Unite ringer volume level

Great online phone system
We have found this online phone system to be a great tool for our company. The app and our in-office phones work great and we can depend on our calls, voicemails and faxes to come through; whereas the last company we had was very sporadic service.

Integrating and setting up Intermedia Unite was fairly easy. The customer service is very helpful! We have found this online phone system a major upgrade from our last provider.

Intermedia Unite Cloud Hosted VoIP
Our experience with Intermedia Unite has been excellent! Some of our clients have users that are in different locations and before UNITE we would have to setup Site-to-Site VPN's to allow their phones to get on the HQ network. With the cloud based UNITE, phones are mostly plug-and-play!

Ease of use. As an Intermedia partner we first adopted the VoIP phone system into our office... and use it daily. Once we saw how easy it was to use, we started recommending to our clients.
Cons
The only thing we have had a problem with is ROUTERS on remote phones. With more users working from home these days, our clients are giving them an office phone to bring home. And sometimes those home routers are not compatible with the Intermedia Unite platform because SIP ALG is not a programmable feature to TURN OFF. And then we get dropped calls. This is tough to control and not much that Intermedia can do other than offering a compatible router that has integrated WiFi that we can recommend for home users.

Overall experience good with all aspects of features on phones.
Pros
Most PBX features also available on Unite. The integration with desktop app and mobile app is convenient when roaming around office or remote work.

BLF options are all (ring/no ring) for all buttons. Can't select specific BLF buttons for different ring/no ring.Making changes can be either over web page for Unite or direct to Yealink phone. Confusing on where to make programming changes

The software is great and the customer service & support offered by Intermedia is second to none. They have real people with real knowledge available within moments of calling to walk you through any issue you might have. It is a pleasure working with them.
Pros
I love being able to have voice mails transcribed and sent to my email, I never miss a name or digit in a phone number. The website is fairly easy to use to customize everything from the greeting to our billing. It's almost TOO much for our purposes, but the price is fantastic for the services, so I would recommend to anyone!

There are quite a lot of features, almost too many for my purposes. It's easy to be slightly overwhelmed at customizing the software for your specific business.

Customer service is Excellent. We can use it on multiple devices, which facilitates remote work. We have access to voicemail transcripts and audio.

The features and functionality of the unit and system meet our needs. We had computer access to the system during covid and transitioning to a new location. DataTele customer service agent Bill helped us navigate the process. When we moved to our new location, we could add new units along with our existing ones. The mobile configuration also helps with remote access.

We had a cheat sheet to help with the feature setup, and the online setup gives you a step-by-step process to complete different features. The Agent is just an email away and a phone call if necessary.

Great Service and Office Communication Solution
We are very pleased with our service and the options available in our package. Intermedia Unite has simplified and broadened our business communications. Customer service has been exemplary from the sales team to installation and has continued throughout our service period.
Pros
The onboarding team was outstanding. They made the process of switching from a PBX based phone system to the Voip system seamless. They were very informative, patient and extremely helpful. The set up included detailed training and assistance. Response to questions, issues or specific feature use was expedient, easy to understand and implement. They are always eager to help. Often times salespeople over promise and under commit. Once you have purchased the service, you are on your own. Not the case here, we have never once regretted our decision to go with Intermedia.
Through the use of mobile apps and video conferencing, our ability to broaden communications within the company, outside vendors and partners has simplified our unique hybrid office platform.
Cons
The only con we currently experience is within an area of minimal or limited internet and Internet Service Provider options. The Voip phone need a consistent and stable internet connection. However, with the use of the mobile app, this issue is eliminated as it works through cellular phone coverage.

Best Cloud Solution
In this day in age customer want to have the flexibility to do business wherever they go and not feel any form of limitation from being a way from the "office". Intermedia solves that problem with the apps and additional features.
Pros

Integration was pretty seamless compared to our last VoIP system. I like that there is an app and calls/messages can be managed from my desktop. The Yealink phones are fantastic and easy to use as well as looking nice in our office. I also like the Admin panel for accessing our account, there are many updates and features that can be done without having to contact customer support.
Cons
The only minor issue we have is setting up voicemails for specific events. Establishing the event is easy and straightforward however we have to contact customer support each time in order to attach the voicemail recording. If we could record it each time from the office phone that would be great, it would really save time.

The Intermedia Unite system is generally easy to use and user friendly. When I was new to it and as new questions came up with regards to using different functions, I reached out to tech support. The customer service by the Intermedia Unite customer service is top notch. The representatives have always been polite, knowledgeable, listen to my questions and have been efficient when helping me. Thankfully, due to their help, I haven't had any reasons to call back recently.

I appreciate the ability to use this system with an office phone, computer or with my cell phone. There is a lot of functionality and the interface takes a little getting used to but is generally easy.

Low quality phone provider. Only useful for low volume calling
It was easy to purchase, easy to install, deploy, and start to use. However, after having several users doing a calling activity at the same time, the connections starts to fail

We only had one issue which was the bandwidth of our firewall and when we contacted Intermedia they helped us identify the problem and get it resolved with our IT team. Very good service.

Thankfully we haven't needed to do any rerouting of our office lines calls and have been working in the office. But most of all this software call connection is reliable. We have had no issues with the quality of calls.

It’s been great. When there are glitches or problems they are responsive and clearly identify what happened and what they are doing to prevent it again. We’ve only had like a couple problem in several years compared to couple problems a month with previous option.

The sales teams are great but the tech team is what sales the product to me. After I purchase a product or service than I work with the tech team to make sure all is running smooth. Intermedia Unite with VoIP service is superb
Unite has enabled our team to stay in touch and fully functional even when we have to operate remotely - no small feat for a tiny firm. From our initial outreach to Intermedia to setup and installation it was obvious staff at Intermedia know their product and were able to walk me through even the most complex task quickly and easily. Response to trouble tickets is quick if they can't solve an issue directly over the phone.

The software is flexible and easy to use but also powerful. It is easy to navigate and features are self-explanatory.
Cons
It can be a little obtrusive at times - would be nice if it had a quick "silence" or "sleep" mode - maybe located in the window title bar to prevent the app from interrupting calls or covering other windows.

Great solution for our team that saves us $$$ too!
I am so pleased. Everyone in the office appreciates the functionality of the product, especially now that we are 'remoting' more and more. The ability to video conference on the fly is a lifesaver for our team; we can get our work done -- but stay 'connected' a bit more than just a traditional phone.
Pros
The best thing for us was implementing this just before the pandemic hit. We needed better unified communications and hosted phones for our team. The Intermedia onramp team was awesome, we had a single rep guiding us along -- which helped the consistency of the process. The setup was easier than we expected, the software easy to use once setup properly -- and it saves us $$$ every month.
Cons
The support, although seldom required -- can be a bit slow. Granted -- when you have trouble with your phones you want immediate help. The key, however -- is that when help is reached -- they seem to get us fixed-up in a jiffy.

Great functionality for team communication
Intermedia has steadily made improvements, and the product is very stable.
Pros
Being able to communicate in multiple ways - chat, sending screen shots and files, phone calls, online meetings, recorded meetings.
Cons
I have no real problems with the software to complain about.
