Tidio Chat is a cloud-based live chat platform suitable for integration into any company’s website. It includes a customizable interface that lets companies make the live chat interface match the look and feel of existing online assets. Additionally, it includes support for over 140 languages. Tidio Chat is mobile compatible, which ensures that customers on mobile devices are able to engage with the chatbox on small screens. If no agents or employees are available, users can leave "offline messages." Additionally, using a Google Chrome plugin, Tidio Chat lets companies receive immediate notifications of any pending offline messages. Inexpensive Intercom alternative that scales as you do

Very good as it was a super simple tool to get started and deploy on my website(s) to be able to start answering our user's problems in real-time

Pros

The onboarding experience is next none and extremely easy to go from sign-up to deploying on your website. Combining this with the ability to get started without a credit card for $0 is absolutely awesome!

Cons

Creating your first or any bot's workflow is very cumbersome and not a seamless experience. Many other tools do this better and doesn't feel so "stiff"

Big Tech and their war against Faith-Based Orgs.

As with a lot of these big-tech enterprises, they are hellbent on silencing faith-based everything. It wouldn't hurt their AI or anyone in the slightest to allow churches or other such orgs to use their AI, but they choose to deny us because we don't follow their secular progressive ideologies. It isn't fair. I know there are lawsuits pending about stuff like this, but in the mean time, churches who want to use technology are forced to fend for themselves and be creative.

Pros

It was easy to setup, configure, and manage. It looked good on our website. The Wordpress Plugin worked.

Cons

Their VERY restrictive anti-Christian policy which prohibits the use of their AI on a church website. We're a church website! We're not inciting violence or any other horrible thing. We're just listing event times, theology and practice, and lots of pictures and media.

Making Support and sales easy

I use Tidio for my clothing business and it extremely simplified my customer support flow and even helped me generate more sales. When I had issues the Tidio support was always on spot and helped me.

Pros

Tidio has a really easy onboarding, strong design and surely one of the simplest to use Dashboards i have seen.

Cons

The pricing could be a bit less, but overall no real cons in the product itself.

Customer service seemingly non-existent so we had to leave

It's really too bad that so many companies are turning over human support to cheap options like ai or outsourcing overseas to less qualified workers who are difficult to understand. I don't know if that's Tidio or not. We never got anyone to even respond.

Seemed simple. Good user interface for customers.

Cons

I'm sorry I recommended this for my client. It made it angry because he needed help and couldn't get any. They use ai in their own live chat and it couldn't answer his questions, nor could he get around it to get to a human. Neither would they respond to emails. In a fit of anger, he said, "I quit. Find me something else." :(

I love using Tidio, I have used other chat apps and this one is the cheapest and easiest for ensuring my customers can always reach out for support via the website. The mobile app is a huge plus.

Perfect chat for websites

It was and is an excellent tool, I still use it on some websites. The online chat and integration with websites is one of the great things that I really liked. It also has an excellent solution for email marketing.

Pros

For years TIDIO has been my number 1 choice for all websites. Very simple to use with an app for computers and smartphones, you can have complete control.

Besides the price I have no other reason to complain.

My experience with them has been great. It's a nice cheap alternative and we look forward to watching them grow.

Cons

It's missing really basic features such as BOLD, ITALICS, and the ability to use hyperlinks. They put too much of an emphasis on bots but not the basics of using a chat program.

Wouldn't consider any other service

Pros

We have several websites that a single team of customer service agents run. Tidio makes that possible! We seldom miss any inquiries because of their awesome notification settings which are super simple to set up. With our business, it's also super important to be able to share files back and forth. Believe it or not, many chat softwares don't allow you to do that, but Tidio does. We have tried many softwares in the past but I have a hard time believing we will ever go with any of them again after finding Tidio.

Cons

Since we use the live chat on multiple websites, it would be nice to be able to put our unique branding on the live chat for each site that we use this service for.

Shopify Inbox makes it so difficult to use the software on multiple websites. You have to log out and back in for the next project every time you get a live chat request. It was a free option with some pretty good features, but that alone made it impossible to work with when you have more than one project.

Ultimately, we had used Tidio before and knew that we already liked it. And Tidio ended up being cheaper anyway so we just came back to you guys.

Sometimes when customers communicated through chat, they had to wait the time that the flow of conversations at the time required to be attended to. Since Tidio was implemented, they do not have to wait because the answers are automatic and are understandable, giving a solution to the question

The Tideo Chat Experience

It was good because I synced it to my computer, phone and tablet. I set it to notify me with a ding, so that in most circumstances I would know if someone needed assistance. It isn't an AI chat experience that answers general questions, so emails are used to communicate for all basic information as well as more detailed info.

It helped me to communicate with my customers when I wasn't able to be online.

Cons

It is a little difficult to use at first. The learning curve was lengthy for me. Also, I had computer security problems because I was using it with Wordpress and I didn't have a good security running. If using with Wordpress, security must be good and kept up to date. I later found a good free system that solved my problems.

Lost WhatsApp Sign in after integration

Easy to use, has a nice interface, gives you a great report, and increases your customer range, customers reach you easily, and you can make all social media conversations from one place and that's awesome.

Cons

unable to sign in to my WhatsApp account on my phone after integrating with Tidio, we only make conversations through Tidio WhatsApp chatting, and we are unable to sign in to our WhatsApp account through the WhatsApp Application and make conversations from there.

A very stable and complete chat platform

Pros

It's definitely easy to use and the way a novice user can quickly learn how to setup a chat and even a chatbot it's amazing. We just have to point our customers to Tidio and they do nearly everything themselves.

Cons

Prices could eventually be a little bit nicer or the options included in a basic plan could be a little bit better. Other than that, I think there's not much to say.

Very dishonest

Referring to state office of consumer protection for prosecution, avoid as it appears to be a criminal company.

Pros

Everything worked good during the trial. Not the best solution we found, but good price (we thought) for the features

Cons

After trial ended we found out that services that the web site claimed we would have access to on the tier we wanted would be additional cost. Customer support could not agree on why they were doing a bait and switch. Clearly a company with honesty issues, and I would not trust my money with them.

Cheap live chat software

I use Tidio on a small scale to respond to customer's questions through live chat

Pros

AI and chatbots are so easier to use to offer auto-responses to customers using intent data and the quick phrases make responding to questions more easier

Cons

Sometimes the notification would failt to pop up making me miss chats in real time

Support team is like waiting for Christmas

I got sucked into the Tidio marketing, got excited, decided to add it to our website, and then it would not connect to my domain. I followed the available tutorials, but still couldn't connect it to our domain. I asked for support days ago, and it's been crickets.

Pros

Not sure. I can't even get the app working, and the support team has been unavailable for days - another bad sign.

Cons

I least like never getting a response from the support team. I can't even tell if this is a good app on not.

Mult-functional Communication tool for every website!

tidio has been an excellent companion for my company's website. the automated responses divert alot of traffic from our whatsapp lines and enhances overall user experience.

the app has not worked very will since i installed windows 11, as such i have reverted to using the web version and also the mobile version.

Intuitive Live Chat Agent

I was searching for a software like this for quite a while. I can connect the chatbot feature on my Shopify website by entering a html code. It is very functional. I have converted many sales using this Chatbot.

Tidio Chat is a virtual-based chat solution, which manage all your customer inquiries and other messages all in one place.

Cons

There is no phone support. In most cases its vital to have a support representative available to answer any questions.

One of the best "bang for your buck" chatbot options

Pros

Having full control of how your chatbot interacts with customers is huge. The application is very simple to use, even for a non-technical person. The integration with adding it to your website is very straightforward and quick (coding ability required). This has been an excellent tool in our arsenal to increase sales.

Cons

At this time, we have tried to implement the automated response feature at least once, which was when it was first offered. It didn't work the way I expected it to or maybe the data we had did not produce any results that would benefit us. I have not gone back to try it again but perhaps it should be revisited. The website and mobile application (phone: Samsung S21 ultra) are extremely slow to load up at times. I almost can't use the mobile application, which is irritating.

Pros

Has good pricing and even better free seats for few users, I like the application as it provides notification for incoming chat, their new AI works perfectly well in creating auto responses basing on the knowledgebase

Cons

Paying separately for every module is making the software expensive, they should consider a suite account that can combine all modules like marketing and customer communication

Pros

Tidio is cheap with even a free version to up to three agents. I like the live canning, they help me in formatting quick responses

Cons

The mobile application does not sync well with the desktop application for notifications
