The only time tracking app I've stuck to.
Timely's different from all the other time tracking apps I've used. It's easy to use, fast, and uses a kanban-like design that makes it easy to drag and drop entries from one day to another. If it could build even more integrations with other task/project management apps, it would definitely make a lot of Timely users happy.
The only thing I can think of that needs improvement is their customer service availability. I'd leave messages and it would take the team days to get back to me. But other than that, the app is a joy to use.

The "memory" feature is amazing. It captures most of my activities and helps me build my time log more easily.
Cons

This tools helped me keeping track of my daily time and manage and utilize time with quality.

A truly fantastic time tracking software.
Pros
The design. Just awesome, so easy to use. Works really well technically too. No lag, easy UI and just all round perfect to use.
Cons
Unfortunately the price. Debatably pretty steep but going to continue to use it as as the pros currently outweigh the cons.

When you need to know when, Timely is here!
Pros
We used to mark everything via a spreadsheet, and you can imagine how difficult that becomes. When we moved over to Timely, we we're happy to know it integrated well within our systems. Instead of tracking people individually, we we're now able to track hours (for hourly employees) seamlessly and quickly without having to open multiple documents.
Cons
As of now, I don't have any issues with this software, I used to have time-tracking on People-soft and it was a bit frustrating, but using Timely has been great so far.

Where have you been all my life
Timely is the easiest time tracking software I've used. It's also pretty good looking! I've been using Timely for a year now. At the beginning I enjoyed the experience and thought it did everything I needed it to do. Then the awesome folks at Timely started adding new features, features I didn't realize I wanted/needed until they came out.
Overall, the easy of use, nice aesthetics, and feature enhancements make this one fantastic time tracker. I highly recommend anyone juggling multiple projects give this a try!

Timely is so easy to use and they strive at Timely to make it a better experience with their clients. They are always available to hear your suggestions and use them !. I make much more money due to Timely cause I can accurately time my interactions with my clients. And I use it to bill too!

Incredibly useful.
I've looked at a number of different options, and am glad I settled on Timely. It's very helpful with invoicing, and its interface is simple and intuitive. The new features are awesome (particularly the tagging and time recording systems), and work well; despite the influx of new features, I haven't run into any major bugs. The app does have some trouble calculating hours/income when they're first recorded, but a refresh gets it back in order. Very happy with this product.

Overall, Timely helps me manage and track my time efficiently without much overhead or wasted time. It's designed to be as simple to use as possible.
Pros
The simple interface allows me to quickly record and track my time when working on projects. The suggestions save me a ton of typing and allows me to stay productive.
Cons
On occasion, the suggestions aren't entirely relevant to what I'm doing, but I think the AI suggestions are improving as I'm using it.

Good for logging hours
Pros
Timely is good for keeping track of hours worked on different projects and it's very helpful that they have a mobile app for managing away from your desk.
Cons
The view can become kind of busy and confusing when managing a lot of projects, especially on smaller mobile screens. The companion Apple Watch app was not very useful as it was often slow and laggy and in the time you spend waiting on it you could just open your phone and accomplish the task.

Projects with budgets and different tasks - clients with different projects - tags to measure time spent on different types of tasks - marking projects as billed - timer on tasks - planned time for future tasks
Cons
Ummm.... wish I could set a combined income worth on a project instead of hours. Then as I clock more hours, I see how my hourly income decreases. I often work project-based where I have a set budget and an estimated number of hours set aside for that project. If I choose budget for project and set hourly pay, then if I go over the set time it shows a wrong number while I still get paid only the set amount.

Great software at a high price
Pros
I liked the automatic time tracking functionality most from this software. Made it very easy to manage my time and see the trends that happened with my work without putting in much extra time to manage this.
Cons
The pricing is much steeper compared to other alternatives out there like Timing app. As a result, you would have to really do a cost benefit analysis on the cost vs the amount of benefits you get from it.

Timely for a Solo Business Consultant
Everything about Timely has been great. It does everything I need for managing the hours I work for each of my clients. Having a list of clients with projects makes allocation easy.
The Timely team has been very helpful and communicative when dealing with an issue that required some major development work. I was very impressed with this.
The only extra feature I can think of that would be perfect for me is the ability to grab items from within the apps (on the day page) and add them to an entry. I can easily create an entry from one of the app items but to add app items to an entry would be handy.
Otherwise I have nothing but praise for the software and the team.

Fantastic - best app ever
As an independent creative producer and arts consultant I wanted an app that could track my time as other freelancer apps, but give me the flexibility to manage the vastness of the projects I work on. Timely's seamless usability across devices, great design that you actually want to look at, colour-coding projects, and the ability to add in project team members as needed to various projects makes it really user friendly. The ability to track projects by different billing rates is key, and also allows me to manage pro-bono work I do. And the tags. I love the tags. And I love the Timely support team. They were, well, timely in their responses and super friendly in resolving issues. Other things I love: the app integration (although I would like to see iCal integrated), as well as Memory. With the planned VS actual logged time stamps on each entry alongside the introduction of Memory, I can better assess project hour estimates and my own productivity. I totally nerd out with this app.

Pros
I gave the Timely app a try because I needed to keep up with time spent on the projects for my clients. I liked that it would allow me to categorize projects and accurately keep the time on them.
Cons
I thought it was a bit clunky and confusing to use and found another product that was easier to use across all of my devices. The pricing plan for the service was too much for me.

Really helpful, mindless tracking
The unexpected side effect of seeing my tasks in the memory bar was a productivity boost, because I before I felt like "i can't believe it's 3pm and I'm still on this [thing]" and now I can see that actually, a did a bunch of stuff and am now on [this thing]. Also, as an independent who works from home, it helps me plan my time better. Even though I was planning before, I don't like putting work in my calendar. "Planned time" works great and keeps my calendar clean. I kind of wish it had break reminders, but I can use a separate app for that.

I miss the built-in Pomodoro reminders in toggl (desktop).

Easy of use, Great for Timesheets
Timely helped keep track of timesheets very accurately. It even suggests time entries which saves me too.
Pros
I enjoy the fact that it is available on almost every device. Some apps are limited to either android platform or apple, but this one is available on either.
Cons
I did not like that the app does crash, on occasion. But nothing I can't deal with.

I'm a believer and switched over from Toggl!
I am in a consultant position where emails, meetings, and projects fill my day. I was using Toggl but found that I had to "remember" to go back through my email, my projects, my calendar all manually and try to piece together what happened each day. The UI frustrated me and wasn't conducive to playing "catch up". It seemed like Toggl is best suited for those that always have a timer running.
I am working on multiple things at once, am interrupted often, and a timer isn't necessarily the best method to track time.
After finding Timely, this changed. I love time tracking. I can drag and drop all of the emails I sent for the day with the Gmail integration, drag and drop my meetings of the day with the Google Calendar integration. My time tracking is fun, easy, and I don't feel like I'm playing catchup, I'm just recording what I'm doing on various channels!

Timely gives you more freedom through it's simplicity. It just works.
It's rare to find a great product and attentive customer support in the same place. Before Timely, I was frustrated trying to work on specific tasks within a predefined calendar slot. If I missed a slot, the entire day felt off. Timely allows me to use color coding for specific categories of work like marketing or content creation, dragging & dropping as the day progresses. Being able to see planned vs. logged time is another winner. This gives me more freedom to have a successful day and get stuff done!
