Good tool for study and work track time
It is really a good tool to track time. I haven't use all the features now, but each time I told myself: "Can I do this thing?", the answer is always yes I can do this with the tracker. It is easy to track time between all the different projects and jobs that you have. Especially when doing small contracts when you have a specific number of hours to do (like research assistant).
Pros
Easy to use! I like the reminder that pops up after a time. The easiness to create projects and tasks. The connectivity with the apps for phone and computer.
Cons
I wish I could have my detailed report directly on the Mac OS app.

Effortless Time Tracking with Toggl Track: A User-Friendly Experience
Toggl Track has been fantastic to use! I love how easy and user-friendly it is! It has made tracking my workload a breeze! I have tried a couple of other programs, but Toggl Track seems to work the best for what I need it for. I wanted to track all the tasks I spend most of my time on, just to get a sense of where my time is being allocated on a daily basis, and this program tracks that perfectly!
Pros
Toggl Track is very user-friendly. It is simple to navigate. I like how easy it is to continue with a previous project or add a new one. The colour-coding also helps to breakdown the areas in which I am spending most of my time. I also really like the reports tab - it's nice seeing how many hours have been worked and the percentage of my time spent on each project.
Cons
Sometimes, at the end of the day, I will use the mobile app to 'end' a task that I had started through the desktop webpage. I can see the task still counting when I enter the app, and so I will press the 'stop' button, but it does not always register. If I don't double-check it, then it will continue tracking time until the next morning when I return to Toggl Track. This just seems to be a small bug within the system.

Microsoft PlannerReasons for Switching to Toggl Track
Toggl Track was the first program I tried and I really liked it from the get-go. It seemed to have all the features I required. I did not extensively try the Microsoft Planner, but that planner seems to be catered more towards team collaboration rather than just individual time tracking. I would use that planner with my team when required if we are working on the same projects, but if I am just tracking personal work production, I much prefer to just use Toggl Track.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Tracking with Ease for profitability
I've been using Toggl track on and off for several years, but this year turning to more payments based on hours worked I am tracking all of my time. It has also helped me to see the billable vs non-billable time split.
The reports are really helping me to understand how I work and to be able to plan my workload and time a bit better.
I feel like I am much more profitable in my business now as I have a real understanding of actual time to do tasks and how to build in a non- billable time element to all client projects.
Pros
Toggl has made my client billing so much faster and easier. There is no need to click back and forth between toggl and platforms I'm using with the auto track function.
I love being able to attach a client time track report with my invoices so clients can see a breakdown of time.
The reports and analytics have also given me some great insight as to how I work and where I'm spending my hours. As well as assisting in balancing my time between different client's projects more evenly.
Cons
The are a few bugs in the auto-track and I do find that I often need to go in and edit the tracking. This is really my only bugbear with the application/ platform.

Fantastic software for free but gets pricey if needed for a team of more than 5.
After two years working with it, only one time the system was down and we couldn't access it for about two hours, no issues aside from that.
Pros
It is very intuitive and easy to track time for different projects, the app works great and the features to be able to add different costs levels are cool.
Cons
The lack of a plan just like the free version but with more seats, the jump to get more users is a bit pricey and includes many features that maybe are not that required on some cases. It would be great to just be able to pay for extra seats on the free plan.

The platform excels at providing a simple and efficient way to track time
Overall, my experience with Toggl Track has been positive. The platform excels at providing a simple, efficient way to track time, whether you're an individual or part of a team. Its clean, intuitive interface makes it easy to use, even for beginners. The ability to generate detailed reports and analyze time spent on various projects has been instrumental in improving productivity and identifying bottlenecks in workflows.
Pros
One of the standout features of Toggl Track is its simplicity and ease of use. The intuitive interface allows you to start tracking time with just a few clicks, which is perfect for both individuals and teams. I also appreciated the detailed reporting tools, which provide valuable insights into how time is being spent across different projects.
Another great aspect is the flexibility Toggl Track offers. Whether you're using it on your desktop, mobile device, or browser extension, the synchronization is seamless. The integration capabilities with other tools like Asana and Trello also make it incredibly convenient to streamline workflows.
Finally, the visual representation of time logs and the ability to tag or categorize tasks make it easy to stay organized and focused on priorities. It's a powerful yet user-friendly tool for anyone looking to optimize their time management.
Cons
Users must remember to start and stop timers, which can lead to inaccuracies if forgotten. Some competitors provide automatic tracking to address this issue.

I trust this app
It's been very good.
It's an integral part of my billing process to my clients and it's pretty easy and complete to use
Pros
Works across many platforms (desktop, web, mobile)
Cons
I wish it would highlight when a time entry is not attached to a project. I use Toggl to track time spent on clients projects and bill them. When I mess up and don't attach an entry to a project, I have to work backwards and figure out if I can confidently assign an entry to the right client account. When I can't I have to loose the time and billing.
100% this is my failure to do entries correctly, but it would be awesome if there were alerts to entries from the day prior that don't have projects attached. I can probably remember what I was doing...it's when I'm doing this at the end of the month that I can't always tie things back

Pros

The best tool out there for time tracking!!
Love it!! Has been the best tool I’ve found for time tracking and there’s so many small details that make it very user friendly and not the normal tracker
Pros
The ease of Toggl has made it so much easier to track my time compared to other apps. I use it everyday and it’s hands down the best solution I’ve tried.
Every small feature makes a huge difference and that’s why I keep using it. I have ADHD and time blindness is soooo hard for me. So having a fool proof system and all the bells and whistles are the only thing that is truly keeping me in line.
I use the chrome plugin, the desktop tool, mobile so I can start and stop quickly. I love the new feature where it shows what was detected so you can guess in case you need to go back and add manual time. I also really appreciate the new feature where when you switch windows, it will suggest you start recording your time in case you forgot. That reminders and the email reminder that my timer is still running is huge!! The multiple categories and recall of related and past projects that auto populate suggest are also amazing. The color coding and ability to switch between calendar and list view is super helpful and I use both every day.
Cons
This isn’t really a Toggl issue but I often forget to turn it off, frequently. The emails are helpful but often I don’t see them until later and if it’s out of sight, it’s out of mind. Since Toggl had the ability to see in the background what apps I’m using, if it notices none are being used, offering a suggested turn off that you can opt in when you return. Where either in the warning email or when you you see the timer next it would say, it’s still running but “we recommend ending it here”

Toggl Track - A MUST for Freelancers
Easy, friendly time tracking (and more) tool. I use it every day! Toggl Track has made me a lot of money by informing me of just how much time I actually spend on a project.
Pros
Toggl Track is so easy to use - a Graphic Designer can use it! And I do! It was simple to set up and get rolling. Adding clients and projects is simple. The interface makes it easy, and the Help features make things even easier.

Time tracking is no longer a chore
It's made time tracking really seamless and gives me brilliant data to understand how I use my time, which helps me make more robust and realistic plans.
Pros
Brilliant UI, increasingly easy to use with other project management software, makes time tracking not just easy but actually turns it from a chore to a really helpful time management tool. Really good to have calendar integration.
Cons
Occasionally there's a minor glitch. I'm not in love wit the colour scheme. I would like more functionality on the mobile app.

Knowing our progress and time management is easy
I like to use Toggl Track everyday to keep track of all the time I work in each task and know which projects take more time. I also use it to track my team's time and workflow to ensure that everything is productive and tasks are being completed in time, to avoid any issues during our projects, and when working with specific clients, this tool comes in handy too. This application has allowed us to be more mindful of our time and it's just a simple tool that helps us achieve better results faster.
Pros
I like that Toggl Track is a simple yet complete software that has so many features needed for effective time-tracking and organization. I like that you can view all the things you've done throughout the day in the Google Calendar, and have everything labeled properly so that you can know how much time each task will take. Using Toggl Track is not difficult at all and I'm glad that it has such an easy interface that gets straight to the point. Using this application offline is also possible, and I am able to track my time entries without needing an Internet connection and it will automatically synchronize with the calendar when I'm back online.
Cons
I think that the price is a little bit higher compared to other solutions that are out there, but I also think that the convenience that Toggl Track offers is unmatched, since it can integrate with many other programs that we use in our daily work, which makes everything much easier when combining the data. If you specifically use a software every day in your workflow, the chances that this tool integrates with it is high, which is something I like. As for difficulties, I find that the reporting tool can sometimes be a bit difficult to use when it comes to selecting the data I want to analyze.

11 Years Strong - The Best Time Tracker
I have been using Toggl for almost 11 years now, and I cannot live without it. I started by entering each entry for years, and when I just recently switched employers after 10 years, this company uses our calendar for a lot of time tracking, and the outlook/gmail integration is fantastic. I can copy an entire week's entries from my calendar over to Toggl and immediately get dashboard insight to my week. It saves me time, keeps me accountable when I need to look back, and helps keep my projects profitable. 10/10 reccommend to anyone that will listen.
Pros
Quick, very easy start up time, functional, and data driven. Reports and dashboards are incredibly easy to set up and refer back to, and time entry (especially if linking from your calendar with Google or Outlook integrations) is a breeze
Cons
Limited option for colour coding of projects, deleting projects can sometimes be onerous, and at times, I accidentally hit the record time button and then cannot find that time entry anywhere which can cause glitches in my reports.

Reliability and simplicity
Great! As said above it has been a very reliable and user friendly tool for the last few years . Keep it that way
Pros
Reliability and simplicity: the tool is very user friendly, intuitive, does not have show stopper that generate error messages or similar and highly reliable. I don’t need many of advanced and less advanced features available. I does perfectly the job it needs to do.
Cons
If i were a new user i may find it less intuitive than originally it was few years ago.

For a small number of projects, I need to keep track of my hours. Toggl Track does that very well in a variety of ways and produces useful reports too. I have just started using auto tracking with calendar events and the browser, which should be very useful.
Pros

Cons

Simple yet effective.
I use Toggle probably in an unorthodox way. I am a solo game developer and like to keep track of my own time to keep myself accountable. I don't use the reports or other functions, just setting timers for different aspects of my project.
Pros
Ease of quick use, I start up my computer and click a button. Simple yet effective. Nothing gets in my way of just making a time entry. The ability to go back and see time entries is nice too.
Cons
I feel it has gotten more bloated by integration to all the other Toggl apps, which I don't use.

Toggl is a lifesaver for timesheets
I have to fill out detailed timesheets every week at work, and I was always scribbling notes down, losing my notes, forgetting to take notes, and generally stressing about where my time went that week. Now I keep track automatically in Toggl and I can review my week on Friday and fill out my timesheet quickly and painlessly!
I did list some cons, as there is definitely some room to improve, but this little tool has greatly reduced my stress so I am happy to give it 5 stars. I've been recommending it to anyone who will listen.
Pros
I love the calendar feature where I can view how I spent blocks of time on each day. It is also easy to adjust after the fact (something I do a lot, as sometimes I start working on a task and forget to start the timer).
Cons
I often leave it running by accident, and I don't like how I have to go in and manually fix it when this happens. I think I should be able to set an automatic cutoff. It's also a little clunky, especially switching between the mini timer and the full view; but that is not a huge pain point. I wish the calendar was labelled with days of the week too, not just dates, to make it easier to see my work week at a glance.

Great tool
I use Toggl Track every day. In my business, it's vital that I know how long a project will take so I can give the client a reliable estimate as to when they'll have it back and also so I can provide them with an accurate and fair rate quote at the start of the project.
Pros
I am a book editor, and I use Toggl Track to keep track of the time I put in for each stage of a project - the tags are great for that!
Cons
I would love a report that gives total time per project and then per tag for each project, without regard to week or date at all. If projects run more than a week, I often have to gather and add up those numbers myself. As a freelancer, the dates/weeks don't matter to me at all.

Toggl Timer is an absolute game changer for a freelancer
OverallI I am thrilled with this software.
Pros
Toggl Timer has been an absolute bonus for me as a freelancer. Its user-friendly interface makes tracking time incredibly simple, allowing me to focus on my work without being distracted by tools. The ability to track time across multiple projects and clients is seamless, and the reporting features are invaluable for understanding where my hours are going, improving productivity and of course my favourite part – billing.
I particularly appreciate how intuitive it is to switch between tasks or start a timer on the go, whether on desktop or mobile. The integrations with other tools I use, like Trello and Asana, make it an essential part of my workflow.
Toggl’s visual reports are also very clear, making it easy to share time data with clients. For freelancers looking to manage their time better while juggling multiple projects, Toggl Timer is a must-have tool. Highly recommended!

Solid time tracking software
I've been using this app for about two years and I have found it very useful. More importantly, it's easy to switch between tracking different projects without losing time. I love that I can go back and edit an entry. I wish there was a search and replace function, though, so that I could make entries more uniform across time.
Pros
I can customize all my projects, clients, who's being tracked, run reports, etc. I can view the daily time as a running log or in a calendar view, which is really helpful for identifying blocks of unallocated time.
Cons
It's a bit tricky understanding how to create certain types of reports, not always easy to understand the filters and how they work. I want to be able to use the software intuitively without a lot of need to reference "how to's."

Intuitive. Useful. Generous free plan.
I have been using Toggl Track off and on for about 3 years now. I used it to track how much time I spent doing homework for college classes to get a better understanding of how much work a 3-credit-hour class actually takes, and now I'm using it to track my hours at work. I have used the free plan the entire time and find it to be sufficient for all of my needs. It's a simple piece of software that makes my life easier.
Pros
The free plan offers a lot of functionality without paying a penny. The user interface is very efficient and intuitive to use - just press the play button and you're off. I like that I can categorize my time entries into different projects to get a more detailed view of where my time is going and then see a weekly report with it all summarized.
Cons
It seems like reports don't load/update on the Android mobile app unless you're connected to Internet and it has a chance to sync your time entries, which kind of makes sense, but also doesn't to me. I work in rural areas with limited Internet connectivity, so it's a little annoying to not be able to load my reports while out in the field.

Toggl Track: The Ultimate Time Tracking Tool for Professionals
Toggl Track is an excellent application for individuals or companies needing to track employee time across multiple projects and tasks. I love having access to mobile, web, and desktop applications. I primarily use the web version as it fits seamlessly into my daily workflow alongside other browser tabs for email, search, and other productivity tools. The integrations with other software platforms are a nice bonus, though I am not currently utilizing them.
Customer Support! The support I receive is superb. Integrated into the web application, support is just a click away. They have the ability to chat during normal hours and when offline; they are prompt to return and engage to solve any issues or answer any questions through email. Thank you for your support over the years!
Overall, Toggl Track has significantly improved my time management and project tracking efficiency.
Pros
Toggl Track offers unparalleled capabilities for tracking time across various projects and tasks. As someone who continually monitors the time tracking landscape, I can confidently say that Toggl Track is truly the best in its class.
Specifically, I appreciate the following features:
- The ability to set individualized hourly rates for both individuals and tasks.
- Flexibility to override the default rate when necessary.
- Categorization of project work into billable and non-billable categories.
- Robust reporting and analytics that provide a filtered view of the projects and tasks I have worked on during a given period.
Cons
This list is quite short, as the Toggl Track team is consistently releasing new features.
For instance, the current Invoice generation feature is rather basic. However, based on the robustness of their other features, I expect this feature to improve significantly over time. I still rely on another time tracking tool for invoicing due to its advanced features.
Recently, I needed to amend some project time entries that exceeded 90 days. Unfortunately, this was not possible directly. Instead, I had to add the time entry to the current day and designated project, then change the date of the work to the desired time period. While this workaround was not perfect, it was functional. I understand the potential performance-related issues of maintaining such a large data set, especially for larger companies. However, extending the editable time period to cover the company's calendar year could be beneficial.

Essential Time-Tracking Tool for Freelancers
My experience with Toggl Track has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s a simple yet powerful tool that fits perfectly into my routine as a freelancer. Tracking my 3-hour workdays has never been easier, and the insights it provides have helped me stay focused and productive. While there’s a minor hiccup with the mobile app, it doesn’t take away from the overall value Toggl Track brings to my workflow. It’s become an essential part of how I manage my time and stay on top of my tasks. Highly recommend!
Pros
As a freelancer working just 3 hours a day, Toggl Track has been a game-changer for managing my time efficiently. The intuitive interface makes it incredibly easy to start and stop timers, even when switching between tasks or projects. I love how customizable it is—you can tag and categorize your activities to see exactly where your time is going.
The detailed reports are another standout feature. They give me clear insights into how my hours are spent, helping me optimize my workflow and ensure I’m staying productive. Plus, the ability to set up reminders and integrate with tools I already use keeps everything streamlined.
Overall, Toggl Track has not only helped me stay organized but also made me more aware of how valuable my time is. It’s perfect for freelancers like me who need simple yet effective time-tracking without the hassle.
Cons
The only downside I’ve found is that the mobile app can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when editing entries or adding details retroactively. It’s not a dealbreaker, but smoother functionality here would make it even better.

An essential tool for solo workers
Excellent overall. Great tool that works well
Pros
I've been using the free version of Toggl Track for over ten years. I don't pay for the extra features, only because they are not necessary for what I do (they would be useful if I used it for team work). If I were asked to pay (a reasonable fee) for the features that are currently free ì, I would pay for them, as this is a tool I use every working day.
Cons
1) The color scheme. It would really be better if it was customizable
2) Too much wasted space. It would be great if the user could select a more compact layout, so as to show more lines.

Perfect for one-woman shop with multiple clients
I couldn't run an effective business without it. It's easy, affordable and took a great deal of stress out of starting my own business in the middle of the pandemic. If you're a one-person shop without a secretary or a bookkeeper, Toggle Track is indispensable.
Pros
In 2020 a COVID-related job loss forced me to start my own small consulting business, which consists of me and my laptop. After reading the reviews, Toggl was the best, most affordable option for hourly billing. It saves me countless hours and I dont need a tech department to use it. The one time I had a serious problem with a malfunction, Toggl's tech staff was extremely responsive -- they're real people, not robots. If you need a service to track hours for billing, you can't beat Toggl.
Cons
It's difficult to add new clients with different hourly rates. Plus it doesn't allow you to automatically organize monthly client reports according to different projects, with separate subtotals for each. You have to run separate reports for each project and then combine them.

I don't know what I would do without it!
Pros
That I can have a separate workspace for each client. That is does 7-day tracking and allows you to choose your own start of the week day.
I love the fact that it now groups and adds up the times for distinct Tasks in a single day-space, but see Cons section.
The fact that it allows me to track time for multiple projects for a single client and keeps the totals distinct. But see Cons .
Support Team are really helpful and responsive.
Cons
The fact that it does not give one the ability to round times tracked either up or down to the nearest complete fraction of an hour. If one does not do this , the total time for a day can be off and then multiple days like this cause an incorrect weekly total time. So I have to do the rounding manually for billing purposes. This is a pain.

Great timetracking and reporting tool
Great experience. Would like to see improvement on the weak parts, but these wouldn't stop me from using Toggl by any means.
Pros
Ease of use, stability, features, tracking local activities on pc's to assign time worked on projects afterwards if you forgot to start a timer. It does a great job dividing tasks into several chunks according to activity.
Cons
The userinterface, for instance searching for and managing projects and clients is clumsy and could be a lot more streamlined.

Highly recommend for time tracking!
I've been using Toggl Track for years. When I started out as a freelancer, a friend recommended I try Toggl Track - and I haven't looked back! I have multiple clients and projects, and Toggl Track keeps track of all my hours.
Pros
Toggle Track is easy and straightforward to setup and use. It has some great features and handy integrations.
Cons
I wish there was an option to connect to Xero. I know you can invoice through Toggl Track however I use Xero for all my accounting.

Use it almost every day
Solid product, I wish there was a quicker way to round time to full hours / half hours or full minutes though, atm you have to manually modify it.
Pros
Ease of use to log time by just opening the page and pressing one button. The summary of the time, which tells me how long I worked on what. Also that times can be nicely edited.
Cons
Sometimes I open it and accidentally start tracking. Then 8 hours later I receive an email telling me that I'm tracking the whole time.

Time manager lacking development
Initial program as previously indicated, easy setup, good initial price, but with a fairly high lack of development. We believe that this prevented us from having it as number one since our needs rose and we needed immediate data and access that the program did not provide us with.
Pros
One of the first time management applications that we used in the team at my company Chevron, we really believe that it was the best but it lacked development, the strong point is that it is at an affordable price, long-term and major clauses could be modified benefits, on the other hand it gave rise to a culture of taking time in the company, before we did not have that capacity to realize the time we were wasting, and this application was originally a good test and started saving time as it should.
Cons
Good time taking, but very limited, remote control did not work, difficult access to collaborators with a pin that did not reach, bad support among other characteristics.

Great starting time tracker
Overall, I think this is great basic time tracking software. It's easy to use and gives basic reports. It doesn't do much beyond that, so if you need more you'll need to get something else.
Pros
It was perfect for starting out as a freelancer and keeping track of hours and projects. The free account was enough for me and 2 employees. I thought the set-up was fair and my team quickly picked up on how to use it. I also tested MyHours and thought Toggl was better. Both have responsive customer service.
Cons
When the team got larger and projects more complicated, I needed to invest in something that I could do more

Time Tracking and Reporting
It has met my needs well. They have been very responsive if there was an issue discovered.
Pros
The UI is Simple and easy to use.
The built-in reports are great and provide a lot of flexibility.
Cons
My company wants me to track my time but doesn't want to pay for Toggl so I am stuck using the free version.

Great time tracking and analysis tool
Awesome development team that squishes bugs fast.
Pros
I've been using this tool for a while now and I love that it is super easy to track your time.
Cons
Price? In my opinion, $10 is a bit too much for me to spend personally on this. If I removed some of my subscriptions to other tools, though, I would purchase a subscription.

Easy and useful for remote work!
Really nice, I have like 1-2 years using it.
Pros
It's very easy to use with other apps like calendar, todoist, etc. It has made it easier for me to track my activities and productivity, as it allows me to know exactly where I spend my time, for example how much time I spend reading something or researching something. This allows me to be more aware of how I spend my time and make changes to improve.
Cons
I've heard some people get overwhelmed with so many options on the dashboard, but that's not my case. In any case, I think the dashboard could be set up as simple as possible, but I don't try to do that.

Perfect, free version for client-based, billable hours-type work
Pros
My non-profit/association management company uses Toggl Track heavily, as we have to track all time to a specific organization and project/task within that organization. We use the free version and I love how it is easy to create color-coded "clients" and add "projects" within each "client." I personally track time manually, by the five minutes, and that system works for me. I know that there is a way to use a stopwatch, which several of my colleagues prefer. The free version provides just enough for what you need if you do not require elaborate reporting. There is also a way to view basic reports of your time tracked for the week, by the client or project, to get a sense of your work overview if time tracking is essential to your job.
Cons
I find that Toggl Track often experiences outages and bugs. It's not a terrible amount, but it seems more often than other platforms that we use. I also wish there was an easier way to track lunch/non-billable breaks where the time doesn't show in the weekly time report and I need to manually subtract unassigned project time.

Time Tracking for Life
I’ve tried other time trackers & they did not have these features. I will definitely always choose Toggl!
Pros
I use Toggl for all of my time; business & personal. I love how you can start typing any word that you’ve used in a description & it will start listing the recent ones with those letters/words. I also like that eventually, but not too quickly, those recents will go away so that old events don’t bog down my list of choices.
It’s super quick for me to switch to a new time; sometimes, if I’m in a real time crunch, I’ll just press play on any recent tracked time to quickly get a new one started & then when I have a chance, I just change the description.
I like that they made it super easy on their website to change old descriptions in mass, sometimes I change my mind about how I like to see things. I just go to the reports that show each tracked time separately & filter by the one I want to change, or, I sort alphabetically & go through the history to make sure I like all the current ones. I do that big one about once a year. I like my historical reports to be consistent.
Cons
Once in a while, there have been errors or changes they make that I don’t like but they are very fast at fixing it & receptive to hear the details of the issues I have. They’ll even ask me for more details & if I can provide recordings of errors occurring. That shows they actually care when people have a problem, in my opinion.

Know how your day is being spent.
It's been great it really makes a big difference in my productivity because I can see what it is I'm doing. I don't get tempted to scroll for fun on my phone cause then I can see I'm not hitting my hours for the day.
Pros
I can easily keep track of everything I'm doing and keep it organized. What gets measured gets managed.
Cons
Sometimes there is a delay in the sync of Toggle extension vs my phone vs my desktop application. I've learned to do everything in the extension which seems most stable.

Simple, easy to use
It's been great. Very helpful to have a simple way to track time. We don't need extensive time tracking in our organization, just a quick capture of how I spent my time, so this tool is fantastic for that.
Pros
It's simplicity. I like that I can quickly slot something in and then get back to work.
Cons
Sometimes it's a little bit slow when I click on things in the app and it slows down my workflow a little bit.

Very polished, established time tracking software
Mainly positive. I've used it to track time as both a full-time employee and a contractor. I've never had a major issue.
Pros
As a freelancer, I love the ability to set "keywords" for clients in the desktop app. When I'm on a browser tab or system program that contains the keyword (my client's brand name in this case), it reminds me to start the timer. Love that.
Cons
I wish the freemium model was limited in number of products as opposed to features. This would be a better freemium model for my needs, but I understand their business decision as well.

A very versatile time tracking product to keep up with time stats.
Toggl Track has been giving me a very accurate experience monitoring my time usage statistics and has allowed me to adopt healthy time usage behaviours which are allowing me to get all my work done within the right time. Toggl Track makes time tracking so easy and straightforward therefore helping not to spend much time tracking my time.
Pros
Toggl Track has a pro time reporting feature that gives very precise time usage statistics. It also provides automation workflows which makes it possible to track time automatically without affecting my performance. It provides real-time insights that makes it easy to evaluate time usage behaviours and help avoid time wastage.
Cons
Toggl Track work is perfect and I have not had any negative feedback about it.

Toggl is my go-to time tracker, and has been for years. Workhorse SaaS!
Have been using it for years and years as a freelancer, and haven't ever thought to look at anything else for time tracking. So quick to track time. Reports are easy to create and I like the "duplicate" and "favorites" features. I just skim the surface these days since I mainly have one client/project, but when my freelance life was more complicated was great to be able to switch nimbly between projects. Nice historical view of my work life, too--I can tell clients how long something took very easily.
Pros
Bug-free, constantly and seemlessly getting improvements that are meaningful and not cosmetic. Nice reminders when you have forgotten to click time. Very intuitive UI (has not felt the need for AI!). Strong support (not that I've needed it.). It just works!
Cons
Not much here; I guess maybe that it has a lot of features I don't use so can feel cluttered. I guess the mobile app's hour wheel thing is a bit hard to use and not sure it helps much. (Don't use the mobile app much.)

One of the best time tracking tools
10/10, great experience. Again, user friendly, company friendly, great HR and time tracking tool
Pros
Toggl Track is extremely easy to use. We use it for work but I would honestly also recommend it to a friend if tracking enables them to be more consistent and efficient in their personal lives. In terms of work use, it is so easy to use and set up different projects and tasks and it works great for monitoring how much time is spent on each project, monitoring staff overtime, and it creates really helpful reports too.
Cons
I would not say that there is something I actively do not like about toggl track. Maybe it is a setting thing but I would like to go back further on some weeks to review time spent on projects.

Great app for time management
I like to be able to keep track of my working hours. Managing hours for each client is easy and customers enjoy receiving a detailed report of the tasks performed for them.
Pros
Ease of use. The reports are clear. Alerts that the timer is still running are very useful. Several interesting options.
Cons
I would like to be able to archive clients without losing all the information.
