Website magic
My overall experience has been great I have really enjoyed being able to create a website that represents not just my company but me as well a unique website.
Pros
I enjoyed using wi because it provides you with all of the useful tools to help you create your website, they have all of the latest up to date information that is required to build and host a successful website. Their latest add on Hopp is the best it helps guide a person through step by step on how to add and build your bio page that can be liked to your new website and domain and all of your social media accounts adding more traffic to the website. It's very easy to use, you don't need to have alot of skills, following their step by step instructions on their semi pre built templates is easy all one has to do is edit and customize it to your own preferences. There customerr support team is always very helpful and pleasant and always willing to help.
Cons
The only con that I have or what I least liked was the membership fees, it's an amazing platform but a bit over priced for a membership if the cost could be cut down a little it would get alot more traffic as some people can not always get the membership fees ready.

High customisation abilities with Wix
I have been using Wix for the past 4 years, for my personal blog and small business. I use this site every week and have experienced various aspects of the platforms, whether for blog settings or payments and order management.
Pros
It has high customisation capabilities, for example page designs, fonts, images and so on. I find that the there is much more flexibility to execute your vision if you want something specific and not a template, in comparison to other providers.
Cons
Pricing and subscription plans are not always straight forward, and many plan features or caveats aren't made clear when buying, so you often end up needing a more expensive plan to complete what you wanted.

A decent cheap website builder
Their promotional pricing has increased significantly throughout the years, which means their pricing for their business plan is now quite similar to Square Space. It's really only worth using now if you're making a super basic website with no transactional element.
Pros
It's quick, easy, and cheap to get started. I didn't need to read any documentation to do anything. It's also one of the cheapest website host + makers that you can use.
Cons
It feels much slower than a Square Space and a Wordpress. Similar to Square Space, it struggles with mobile. Their grid system also seems much more limiting.

Love Wix website builder
Overall, I love this platform and all of the things that it has to offer if you choose to do it yourself and I love all of the information but there is a lot to know. I would not suggest it to anyone that does not like to put effort into building a website or that has never done it before because over the years it has grown very complex and luckily, I have tried to grow with it. I would recommend having a Wix professional do it for you.
Pros
I like all the options that you have to build a website the information available, and the explanations are so very helpful. The fact that i can do it myself and put what's in my head in my website with absolutely not an ounce of prior experience. I like to learn and know how to do all aspects of my business and when I become wealthy enough to have someone else do it I can understand more. But I like it and think it is also fun for my creative side.
Cons
There's so much to know. But its not the fault of Wix it's the facts of a growing industry and its complexity.
Reasons for Switching to Wix
Options that were available. The templates were better than others at the time and the ease of building a uncomplicated website with adding our own touch was beyond all the other website builders the best for starting out. Especially since I had not an ounce of experience. But I could add MassageBook to my website so that was a great feature.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

A Stress-Free, Flexible Website Builder with Endless Possibilities
My overall experience with Wix has been fantastic. It’s easy to use, with lots of flexibility to create a unique website without needing coding skills. The templates are beautiful, and adding features like an online store or blog is super straightforward. Whenever I had questions, the support resources were really helpful. Wix made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free!
Pros
What I love most about Wix is how easy it makes everything. The drag-and-drop builder is super simple, even if you're not techy, and there are so many great templates to choose from! Plus, the app options let you add features like online stores or bookings in just a few clicks. It's quick, flexible, and lets you design a website that looks amazing without any hassle.
Cons
The only downside with Wix is that once you choose a template, you’re pretty much locked into it unless you want to start from scratch. Also, while the editor is powerful, it can feel a bit overwhelming with so many options to choose from. But overall, it’s still a great platform for building a website.

Reliable, easy to use and intuitive
I use Wix for my site and my clients because a happy medium between functionality and simplicity to use. Plus the more recent update to Wix Studio is superb. Where ive used Wordpress for years I miss certain personalisation however, the security, reliability and ease of use outweigh that issue. Most of my websites are lead generators and glorified shop fronts opposed to heavy in ecommerce so cant comment on that side too much.
Pros
Everything you need in one place. Simple and intuitive layout of both backend and editor. Quick to pick up the basics with intermediary skills a little play away. Im a big fan of how quickly i can check the responsiveness of mobile vs computer layouts. Security is also a major factor that Wix gives great peace of mind.
Cons
Pricing of all the addons and a lack of additional functionality compared to WordPress. Adding a business email for example is about £56pa whereas we know its drastically less elsewhere so there is a feeling of now you're using us you have to accept the prices we charge.

Quite well-rounded website builder - yet there is some room for improvement
Wix is a popular website builder noted for its simplicity and adaptability, making it a perfect alternative for individuals and small businesses wishing to establish a professional online presence without requiring substantial coding skills. The platform has a large choice of configurable templates, a user-friendly drag-and-drop editor, and a number of features that appeal to a variety of needs, ranging from e-commerce and blogging.
Pros
What I love the most about Wix is that is a very user-friendly website builder with a simple drag-and-drop interface, allowing even beginners like me to construct and customize websites without any whatsoever coding skills. The platform provides an enormous library of professionally created templates from a variety of industries, allowing users to find a good beginning point for their websites. There is a wide range of apps and connectors to improve website functionality, including SEO tools, social media widgets, and e-commerce options.
Cons
In my point of view Wix could also improve some points. What I found the most annoying was that once a template is selected, we cannot convert to a different one without rebuilding the whole site. While Wix has a free plan, many of its more advanced features, such as e-commerce and custom domain names, are only available on paid plans, which might be costly for customers with limited budgets. Wix's SEO capabilities can also be improved.

Overall my experience with WIX has been great. I love building sites in WIX and now that I am familiar with the platform I can quickly and easily build new sites or edit existing ones.
Pros
I personally love WIX. I've used it to build several sites (many with booking software integrations) and the sites always work wonderfully. I love that I can easily make edits and I can duplicate my existing sites so I don't always have to start from scratch.

Wix is better than wordpress for entrepreneurs, beginners and intermediates
I've used it since 2016 and haven't found a better platforms that allows me to easily customize myself. It's saved me tons of money. I had a developer build a website for me on wordpress before and editing it was a nightmare on my own and cost me tons of money everytime I needed a small edit.
Pros
It's pretty intuitive, especially compared to wordpress. I've built many websites for myself as well as clients on Wix which allows me to give them administrator access afterwords, quickly train them on it, then they can do any updates they need in the future. This is awesome so they save fees on paying a developer to do updates as many people do on wordpress.
When I've needed support, I submit a ticket and Wix always helps me sort through whatever technical glitch I have.
I'm glad Wix finally has responsive websites as well.
I can basically customize the website however I want to; lots of flexibility.
Cons
The mobile design and consistency between responsive websites sizes is still not ideal. It's annoying having to make so many edits multiple times to make sure it looks good on all different types of devices. Shifting things around between different sections glitches sometimes. Designing the blog is tedious and SEO is tedious. I wonder how AI will change this eventually.
Reasons for Switching to Wix
Wix has lots of customizability, it's intuitive and you don't have to be a developer as you do with wordpress to get it. I make lots of changes all the time, so it's important I manage my own website with ease.- Industry: Automotive

Best option on the market
Overall, Wix is costly and customer service can be a challenge, but there is certainly no perfect option. As far as what I have experience with through some of the other major platforms, this is the best solution for small businesses. It can be easily used by someone with no experience and for professionals. You can build a website without putting any money towards it, and I would definitely recommend doing that if you're on the fence.
Pros
Wix is a great platform that is both easy-to-use as a CRM tool and building platform. Whether you're experienced with web building or completely clueless, it offers options that work for any experience level. For small businesses, Wix offers enough tools and resources that you could run your entire business through one platform if you know what you're doing.
Cons
Wix is on the pricier side. Customer service can be completely hit or miss depending on which service rep you get, and they seem to try to drive you towards the AI and website answers, even when your solution doesn't lie there.
Reasons for Choosing Wix
Squarespace was ridiculously expensive and allowed for almost no customization. It was difficult to make changes, and some changes had to be made by contacting their support team.Switched From

WIX is The Number 1 Site For Beginners
My overall experience with WIX was amazing! I would recommend them to anyone who is just starting out and has very little web design skills it walks you through and if you aren't sure of something their help guides are literally spot on to be able to walk through what ever it is!
Pros
Overall very user friendly! I had never set up a website before and it was very easy with WIX to achieve the look that I wanted for my store. It was very easy to products into different categories and set up multiple pages within my page. They also had a great selection of upscale amd beautiful products to list! They kept you up to date on what they had and what they didn’t and very rarely did they run out of something! But when they did getting it back stock was a priority for them. Customer support was easy to get ahold of and there was complete transparency with them.
Cons
The only thing that I did not like was that to be able to access certain products you had to purchase an annual plan instead of a monthly plan.

Customer Support saves the day...
Pros
I loved the person who helped me in the customer support. I was assigned [sensitive content hidden] as my support person, and they were FABULOUS. I had a fairly complicated issue and they helped me trouble shoot it for over an hour. I was on the support line with Legal zoom (the cause of the original issue), and [sensitive content hidden] helped me find a work around because the legal zoom people were no help. I like Wix overall too, but my reasoning for leaving this review was solely because of the support I received from [sensitive content hidden], THANK YOU [sensitive content hidden]!!! The 8/10 for recommending to a colleague was solely bc there isn't a help number to be found.
Cons
I hate that there is no support line to call directly, but a chat bot that I have to go to & be redirected thru chat forum not a live person on a phone call. It was insanely frustrating until I found the lovely [sensitive content hidden] to help me.

I had another platform for my website but it was old and out of date. It was also really limited to updating pages and almost no other apps could integrate with it it.
Pros

Cons

Fairly easy to use. Cons = search & email plans
Overall it was great for launching my business. Easy to use/learn it's editor x design tool.savvyspender.ie has got to the mature stage. To get to the next level I think a customized WordPress site will be the way to go
Pros
As someone who started off as non-technical, it is fairly easy to use no/low code website builder. I've built SavvySpender.ie on wix and have turned into 100k visitors per year website (pretty good given size of Ireland). It offers plenty of customization options.
Cons
While it's great for creating glossy e-commerce websites. There are a few glaring downsides in my opinion. It's native search functionality is poor. So if you're building a website with a lot of content this can be a let down. While other providers have integratations with likes of algolia, wix doesn't yet have.
Their email plan options are a rip off they've got an option that allows you 5k emails per month with the next tier being 1 million and costing about €50 per month. As business that would want to spend 50K per month I am forced to pay for the higher tier.

Overall it's been good. Confusing and tedious at times, but good. I'm so grateful for the human customer support agents that help me tackle the really weird technical issues that I can run into (like SSL certificates suddenly ceasing to work correctly).
Pros
How fast I can get a page up. I came to WIX because BlueHost had a massive server crash a number of years ago and I lost my site right before I was supposed to have a big online art sale. Since I hosted my domain name elsewhere I was able to point it at a rapidly built WIX site and was able to continue with those plans.

However, the adjusting of certain sections and formatting can be a little less intuitive on the more developed templates.
Pros

My experience with Wix
My overall experience with Wix has been quite positive. It’s very user-friendly with an intuitive drag-and-drop editor, making design easy even for beginners. The wide selection of templates keeps the site looking modern and professional, and there’s a good range of apps for added features. However, the limited export options and occasional loading delays are small drawbacks. Overall, it’s a strong choice for creating a polished site quickly and with minimal hassle.
Pros
I love its drag-and-drop Visual Editor, which allows you to customize any element of the site. It's ideal for beginners.
It has a wide variety of modern, fully customizable templates for every industry. They're very diverse, so your site will always look professional and appealing.
Additionally, you can build a personalized website with AI based on what you request.
Cons
What I don’t like about Wix is that it doesn’t allow exporting the full site content, which means starting from scratch if you want to migrate.
Some apps require additional payments, which increases the total cost of the site. Sometimes, sites created on Wix can be a bit slow to load, especially if they have many visual elements, apps, etc.

Pros
The clean and bright interface along with intuitive, sectioned-off design that lets you quickly prototype sites for various different purposes such art hosting portfolios or a blog site. There are also strictly finance-based sites like online stores.
Cons

Great for small business
I am a small business owner with a 15 year IT background. I no longer wanted to perform IT duties and wanted a website platform for my business that wouldn’t consume significant time to maintain and manage content. It ended up taking me almost 6 months of web development to launch my site due to Wix’s unavailable mass import for products (they have the feature now and it’s great). I had to do a lot of custom coding on the backend to make my website function for my particular product set because of limited tools and resources at the time. While Wix has been a fairly stable platform that requires little upkeep, the developers do often make changes that affect the websites function without any prior warning or documentation on resolution. For a while, I had to check my website functionality daily, just to make sure they hadn’t made changes that prevented website users from searching for and purchasing my custom goods. The past couple of years (2023-2024) have been somewhat better in terms of changes that significantly impact the website’s function. Overall, I am happy with the platform, but if I hadn’t been an IT professional, Wix (or any other platform) would not have worked for my particular product set. If you have products with few product options, Wix would be great. My unique products often have 100’s of different configurations for a single product with well over 3 million product SKU’s. These simple, easy to use, website hosting platforms are not designed to support this type of product set, but I refused to go back into IT just for my website and knew that in the long run, it was best to have a hosted solution, like Wix.
Pros
The point and click editor was an initial draw to Wix. Wix was also the only platform that would allow me to have the custom product options that my products require.
Cons
The developers constantly change things without providing any documentation and frequently kill features that destroy your websites useability, design, and layout. Support (although 24x7 priority support) is virtually nonexistent. They answer the phone, but I don’t think they have ever actually resolved anything.

I've been using Wix for several years now and think it's the best all-round web management platform for most users. For ease and convenience, there's nothing that works better.
Pros
Wix is my favorite web design software. Far easier than WordPress to pick up, it offers a user-friendly interface and lots of options. Its media manager is intuitive and offers many ready-made options. The designer for events listing is clear and concise, and provides audiences with an easy-to-read and quick shopping experience.
Cons
My least favorite thing about Wix is that to look up answers to questions can be a long and roundabout process. Their help function is less helpful than Googling.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
It's usually good, except when the updates create more work. I did not like that and it has happened a few times now. I don't like the increase in fees and neither do my clients.
Pros
It's easy to work on, except when they make stupid updates that make it take 60 minutes to fix something that should have taken 5 mins.
Cons
This new update moved things I had already placed. It changed where I wanted things and wouldn't let me put them back. It added spacer which was not needed or wanted. TERRIBLE update. Thank god I was able to turn it off, but I had to waste another 25 minutes on chat to find it. That's 90 minutes thereabouts wasted as a result of the pointless update.
Reasons for Choosing Wix

Wix-A Great Choice to Design, Create and Manage Your Website
Overall, Wix renders a professional site and also offers the ability to manage the traffic to your site with additional features and products. It is great to have all of this available in one place.
Pros
Website creation is made easy with the use of a plethora of templates. Finished product looks professional and ranks better than other websites not made through Wix. I also appreciate that there are friendly, knowledgeable people to help if needed too.
Cons
I really have not had an issue with Wix and have maintained my site for 4 years.

Why I think you should give WIX Website Builder a try.
My overall experience with WIX has been excellent. I've had a few issues over the years but the support has helped work things out. Once WIX figures out a way to have the support easier to reach, then I will give it a 10 out of 10 score.
Pros
I have been using WIX Website Builder for years and I am very familiar with how it works. It's user friendly and there's plenty of search options to find what you are looking for or to get steps on how to do something. It has tons of options and stays current with the latest trends.
Cons
The only issue I have found with Wix is the amount of time it takes to get to talk to a person. There's too many questions even though I understand they are trying to narrow down the problem so the customer can fix it themselves but at times, the customer may just need to talk to someone for help. This can increase stress and anxiety when there's already a problem that the customer is having and to keep pushing questions on them, Well, this will raise the frustrations.

Almost Perfect, A Dozen Steps Away Being Wonderful!
Pros:
1- Very easy to use and time saver for any level of web development,
2- Safe and fast servers,
3- High quality library.
Cons:
1- Expensive,
2- High renewal prices,
3- Extra costs,
4- Slow customer support.
Overall, if you have a budget to use for it, it's definitely worth it. But there is no any cheap alternatives for the presented technology.
Pros
Wix probably has the most efficient design tool for creating a web page. It's not only working with templates, also, you can create your own templates. You can easily add segments, like text, images, video, etc. Drag and drop features are very effective and useful. Besides this, contact page features are also very useful. I set up my contact form easily and this is a very complex process if you are not a web developer with WordPress and other types of platforms. I like the main panel too. I did my webpage responsivity for mobile phones and tablets with a couple of clicks.
Also, they have a really good library. You don't even need to pay for images to Stock image platforms.
Overall, I have my own website in Wix and plenty of accounts for my customers. Wix is totally a time saver. I'm not afraid of revisions after I start to work with Wix. Even though I have high experience with WordPress, my first choice is Wix. If you are a very beginner with Web page design, you can set up a professional-looking website within 2 hours and this is really great.
Cons
In my opinion, Wix has a great developer team but l can't say the same thing for the marketing department.
1- You can start using Wix at very low prices. They always offer %50 or even higher discounts for the first year. But after 1 year, you need to pay almost equal to 3 webpage costs.
2- The Wix premium domain does not include an e-mail account. You need to pay really high prices for each e-mail account for each person. Standart domain services is already have e-mail accounts. For every single customer, I also purchase a domain account from a different company and direct their e-mail account to Wix. This is a very exhausting process.
3- Last thing is, customer support is very slow. Once, I needed urgent help and I could get a response after 2 days. Also, you can contact Wix in your main language. But customer support is based in the USA (I think so) and you need to set your timezone for a phone contact. This is a serious minus for me.

Anticipating Wix’s Effectiveness in Supporting the Organisation's Compliance
Using Wix brings unexpected efficiency in handling regulatory documents and policies. Its easy-to-use interface makes it simple to update and share compliance information across different university departments. Plus, Wix's strong accessibility features help the university easily meet digital compliance standards.
Pros
The platform’s easy drag-and-drop interface allows for quick creation and updates of web pages related to compliance, shortening the time it takes to communicate policy changes to the university community. Wix’s SEO tools also help make sure important compliance information is easy to find for students, staff, and external auditors.
Cons
While Wix provides basic security features, a university handling sensitive compliance data might find them lacking for stricter regulations, requiring extra security measures.

Wix Easy to Use with Great Customization Options
My experience with Wix has been great! As someone with no web design background, I found it incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. It offers tons of flexibility, allowing me to design my nanny agency website exactly how I envisioned it. The drag-and-drop editor is straightforward, and there are many apps and tools to enhance the site’s functionality. Customer support has been responsive whenever I’ve had questions, and I love how professional my site looks. Overall, it’s been a seamless experience, and I highly recommend Wix for small business owners!
Pros
What I love most about Wix is the flexibility and ease of use! As a small business owner managing a nanny agency, Wix made it simple for me to build a professional-looking website without any prior web design experience. The templates are modern and responsive, and I can customize everything to match my brand’s look and feel. Plus, the SEO tools and mobile optimization have really helped my site get noticed!
Cons
The only downside I've encountered is that some advanced features require upgrading to higher-tier plans, which can be a bit costly for smaller businesses. However, the features you gain with those plans are usually worth the investment.

My overall experience with Wix
The platform is extremely user-friendly, with drag-and-drop editor that simplifies the process of building a website. The wide range of templates and customization options allows for creative freedom, making it easy to design a site that fits specific needs.
Pros
Its drag-and-drop editor, making it easy even if you don't have coding skills. I also like the wide range of templates, apps, and features that cater to different businesses, small one's, personal blog, or online store. Additionally, the platform's integrated SEO tools and analytics which are very helpful for optimizing site performance and visibility.
Cons
If you decide to switch to a different template, you have to rebuild your site from scratch, which can be quite time-consuming. While Wix offers many features, some advanced customization options require upgrading to more expensive plans

WIX review
Wix is a web designer that some say is not difficult to utilize and has an incredible by and large experience. It has an intuitive proofreader, a huge choice of layouts, and an easy to understand interface that can assist novices with following Website optimization best practices. Wix likewise offers a free arrangement for testing out the stage.
Pros
A simplified manager which awards you all out inventive control and the capacity to plan a site regardless of your expertise level. 900+ expertly planned layouts for a different scope of enterprises and site needs, including on the web stores and web journals.
Cons
Wix offers an immense variety of highlights and instruments to help you get and become on the web, yet it tends to be a ton to truly understand, particularly in the event that you're a fledgling to site building. Limitless extra room is just accessible on Wix's most costly arrangement.

Wix Review
It has been a positive experience. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to build a professional-looking website without needing advanced technical skills. The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, and the variety of templates available allows for a lot of customization to fit all my customer's brand needs.
Pros
What I love most about Wix is its intuitive drag-and-drop builder, which makes it incredibly easy to design and customize websites without needing any coding background/knowledge. The vast library of templates and design elements allows for customized and professional-looking sites. It also offers a wide range of features on an easy-to-use platform.
Cons
The biggest drawback for me is that once you choose a template, you can’t easily switch to a different one without losing your content. This limits flexibility if you want to refresh your site’s design down the line.

What is the Wix website?
My experience was in creating a logo. It was easy. I had problems with the image sizes and the design. It was also easy for me to work with. I no longer needed programs like Photoshop and other complex programs and programming.
Pros
The site is great for creating a logo and appropriate sizes with social networking sites with ease and without effort
You can also create a website or online store in half an hour, and you can modify it without the need for a programmer or software developer
Cons
The difficult thing about it is that when you create an online store, it is difficult to integrate the payment system into it. It is somewhat complicated to integrate the payment system or receive money.

Great to start but not for serious websites
I like Wix for the ease and to simply have a website as a brand front (a page for people to land on) or to maintain a blog. However, this was not going to be a lasting choice for me because ai wanted more out of my website. I needed more customization than I could get from Wix (free version).
Pros
Very user-friendly with many customization options available through their templates and the drag and drop system to build a site. It is easy to build a polished-looking website quickly so I would recommend it for website novices.
Cons
Mostly little tech issues bug me, like: not being able to switch templates once I've started on one, slow-to-load pages, or how I cannot input some coding to improve the functionality/appearance of a page. It can be restrictive if you want to do more with your website.

Great for beginners
It was great for my particular use-case, which was designing a website from scratch quickly and highly customize what's on it.
Pros
It's very easy to get started and design a simple website. It's perfect for beginners.
Cons
A lot of advanced features (advanced animations, menus, navigation) is missing.
Reasons for Switching to Wix

Love the Product
Great. I enjoy the ability to keep all my email marketing, website, and blog in one place.
Pros
The ability to use templates and to have all my website and search engine things in one place. I like that I can create blogs and post there as well.
Cons
They changed their ability to have Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram as a part of the standard service and now require another upgrade to have all three to use my social media platform.
