Google Voice: Perfect for what it offers | Disappointing for what it doesn't.
Being beginner entrepreneurs and small business owners with little to no capital to spear making google voice our primary communication choice for our business was a no brainier. No one especially business owners have the patience to deal with phone companies that don't offer even a third of the services google voice offers and their prices, data security, easy use system/application, sign up, and access plus more. its simple and a great help to anyone and everyone
Pros
I appreciate the quick and easy( Sign-up, Set-up, and startup). Also explaining the use, function, and purpose of google voice to my older not has technology savvy co-workers and president.
Cons
Not being able to cultivate a new number of your own. Even if the was a premium needed i still think that google voice needs to have that feature.

A-must have for Small Business Owners/Entrepreneurs
Overall I had a good experience with Google Voice. It is important to know the fine print, especially understanding the inactive time. However, being able to pick my own number was great and using the different features made communicating with my clients very easy!
Pros
I appreciated the ease and versatility of Google Voice. It was super easy to begin the process, especially since I already have a Google email address. Picking different plans was also great because you can choose based on your budget and desired functions.
Cons
I was least fond of the period when the number was cut off due to inactivity. I wished the period was longer since I was fresh in my business.

The love of Google Voice
My overall experience with Google voice is positive. This is set up to be personal and business friendly. It is straightforward and easy to use and understand.
Pros
I love having a number I can use just for business. It takes voicemail and receives text messages. You can also forward calls anywhere you need. Also spam calls are automatically separated and silenced. Voicemail messages are in text, so you can quickly read them.
Cons
You do have to use it or lose it. It will remind you to take or make a call, if you go a certain time with no calls.

Best starter phone service for small businesses
Overall best experience I’ve been using it for years and will continue to use I’ve tried other paid options. I love them, but nothing beats free.
Pros
This is one of the cheapest virtual phone services that you will find sense it is free and it’s almost perfect. It has just the right amount of features. It is lacking some things but of course, as a free service that’s to be expected but for the price I absolutely recommend everybody who is starting a small business to start with your voice.
Cons
The only cons for Google Voice is the issue with the call [sensitive content hidden] and not being able to know if a phone call is coming to your personal cell phone or if a call is coming from Google Voice because it only gives you two options you’re either getting a phone call from just the regular caller ID which it looks exactly like your normal phone call collar ID or you can set your Google voice number as a contact in your phone so that way you know that a call is coming to you from Google Voice but it takes away the call ID feature so I wish they would fix this. I also wish they would have a virtual answering service like a robot which most other services have but of course those cost so I can’t really say it’s a con because everything you’re getting Is great

Amazing product
I loved it. I think it’s been the best option for work calls, texts, etc on the market.
Pros
Google voice was simple to use. It’s interface is very user friendly and had a great reload speed. The text feature was phenomenal and made our job a lot easier.
Cons
We send automated messages to our customers. We got flagged for it and we’re unable to continue messaging them. Very disappointing. There was no way to confirm that we weren’t spamming random people.

A Great Service For Digital First Companies - But Canadians Be Aware!
SMS features need to be clearly stated before the sign-up process is launched.
It was disappointing to discover that our selected solution wouldn't allow for texting - a key feature in 2023.
Pros
Transferring existing numbers was a breeze, we had zero issues setting up new lines, linking mobile phones to numbers and with a Google integrated system, our IT Management was easy as possible.
Cons
Be aware - CANADIAN users - Google Voice doesn't support SMS or text based features for Canadian phone numbers.
This means no access to authentication systems required for mobile and remote work.
That made the product a none starter for us, and after moving our whole system over, we had to move it right back to a competing service that offered SMS features.

It's great if you are just getting started!
It's great for ancillary items, but once you grow past a certain point, it's difficult to recommend.
Pros
It's the cheapest option that requires the least amount of setup. You can be up and running in a matter of minutes.
Cons

Essential tool in property and guest management for streamlining communication!
Pros
Google Voice is a fantastic tool I've incorporated into my business from Day 1. Most business owners would prefer not to give out their personal phone number to clients and that's where Google Voice jumps in! I've used Google Voice for managing my MTRs and STRs and it has been an essential part of my business from communicating with guests via texts to jumping on a call with them for emergency questions or concerns. Highly recommend to other business owners!
Cons
No cons that I can think of other than sometimes, the voicemail transcription doesn't work.

Google voice an easy way to text your friends hands-free
Overall I love the multitask function that I could use with Google voice I could be working on something and sending out a text message instead of typing on my phone I tend to do that a lot with my business and it saves the fingers and the hand cramps but you must always remember to pronunciate your words before you push send or I could autocorrect something you didn't mean to say
Pros
What I absolutely love about Google voice is that when I am driving and you're not allowed to have your cell phone you can talk easily into it and it will send a text for you or if you're doing chores around the house or the office
Cons
The only thing you need to be careful about with Google voice is make sure you are pronunciating your words so that it doesn't misspell or misinterpret what you're saying in fact I am using Google voice right now to make this review

How Google Voice Affects Our Day to Day Life
Google Voice has helped life continue on normally longer. It has certainly contributed to the general wellbeing of countless men and women all over The United States of America, and is a great addition to any office or home.
Pros
This product is amazingly useful for the differently abled community. My father has been diagnosed with ALS for over a year, and Google Voice and similar programs are integral to his day to day functioning, as finger mobility has decreased. This program helps countless differently abled men and women to still perform their day to day tasks and has been necessary for my father to continue working.
Cons
The biggest annoyance is that the texting feature is limited to the USA, which I understand due to the difficulties of incorporating it globally from both a financial and practicality standpoint. There are only a few instances where it would be nice to text folks from other countries, though, so thankfully it is not a huge issue.

Great option for small business owners!
Pros
I have been using Google Voice as my primary business line instead of a land line for over a year now and it's so nice to have a local phone number and to have potential clients be directed to this number instead of my personal cell phone. I also like that Google Voice transcribes voicemails automatically.

For occasional use, it's perfect
Pros
We use google voice as an alternative to giving each staff member a cell phone and maintaining an account. For that, it's great! Very simple, intuitive, etc.
Cons
Our staff mostly DO NOT interact by phone, so google voice works for us. But if they don't occasionally log in, google takes back the number. That makes sense, just remind the staff: log back in occasionally to keep the account active! My suggestion is to make everyone do it in a meeting once a month or in order to know it's really being done.

Easy to use second line or primary phone.
I use this software almost every single day. You can treat it as a regular phone numeber or a business phone. You can call, text and set up your voicemail.
Pros
The easiest thing about this software is that it's free. You get a legit phone number with your area code. It works when you need to text verify it and you dont need any kind of payment up front. You can also link your primary phone to this service and forward your calls back and forth with one click.

I use Google Voice for my business phone line, it's very convenient and has always been free! I can access it across multiple phones or from my laptop, so I never miss a call or text from customers.
Pros
I love how I'm able to access voicemail messages via email on my laptop or I can read voicemail transcript in the app. This helps me out big time!
