Great for Remote working
Pros
I enjoy the aspect where I can receive calls on various devices. For someone who works occasionally remotely from the outside, it is crucial to use this product to separate my private life.
Cons
Call recordings are not available. As I use call recordings to ensure that proper services are calling purposes it is crucial to have a recording feature which Google Voice does not have. Due to this reason, I constantly have to resort to utilizing a third party feature for recording.

Increasingly relevant in the age of remote work
Pros
When our team was in a WeWork for several years, we had limited office space and many employees worked remotely - even in different countries. For an organization whose employees were mostly not in our physical office, we needed an office phone number that wasn't a landline in an office that someone might not be here to pick up. Google voice helped us get that and also allowed us to have more than 1 person manage the line.
Cons
Google voice is still not that common so managing it and figuring out how to use it effectively across multiple devices was still difficult.

Easy setup with good quality for value price.
Allows me to "click to call" from my CRM (Wealthbox). Texting to clients also ties into my CRM - after a one-time save of their unique text to email feature.
Pros
Value pricing and east setup. Generally good connectivity and solid call quality.
Cons
It would be much more powerful if it were more tightly integrated with the rest of Google Workspace - especially Google Contacts.

Amazing Resource to use to call Phone Numbers in USA
Pros
I used Google Voice a lot to call numbers in USA when I was about to move there right before college. It was a completely free resource to communicate with USA numbers. I continued to use it to call phone numbers of my friends and family once I left USA. The voice clarity was also amazing!
Cons
The software was only restricted to numbers in the USA. I wish they could cover some other countries as well. To call other countries you have to pay.

Great Product
Overall I am very happy with the service and have had no major issues. I intened to continue using the service so long as the quality sustains.
Pros
It has been great to be able to have a seprate line to filter work calls and contact through my phone. I appreciate that it keeps things seperate.
Cons
I tend to get randome calls from people trying to reach other people than me. Not sure if this is because the number has been recycled so many times or what else the casue has been.

Pros
Works well with IOS my work computer. Transcription was typically good for calls. Offers free numbers, calls are free in the US, you can call internationally for an extra fee. Easy to sign up and set up your account.

Collaboration is limited, it can be difficult to manage contacts, be careful with months of none use as your number will be disconnected.

Cheap and cheerful
It's a pretty cheap service to run and also another app thats part of the Google ecosystem so if you want to run your business with one account and billing profile, that's also a big plus.
Pros
It's a pretty cheap service to run. I have it setup on my Google workspace so it's also pretty easy to manage too. I primarily use it just to have a separate business number away from my personal one. I've tested the call quality and its pretty decent but nothing special (I'm located in the UK).
Cons
I did notice there were delays when I'm notified about calls or if I needed a code for an account to go through, it could take 10 minutes to come through.

Easy to use VOIP for our small business
Overall it has worked great. Phones are something we just don't want to think about and Google Voice has provided us with ease of mind. It just works.
Pros
The call clarity and connectivity has been great compared to our previous solution. The ability to have a business phone number over the computer that is tied to a mobile number has been very very helpful. Customers can also text message us to the number which is a bonus.
Cons
Not too many cons. One small one is that for text messages we don't see a notification pop up, so we have to check the app to see if any messages come through. Might be a setting we could adjust.

Google Voice great for customer service!
We use Google Voice for our customer service line. I can answer work calls anytime, anywhere. The connection is always great and I have never had any problems with any of the hundreds of calls I've answered and returned. It keeps a log and is very easy to use.
Pros
Google voice allows you to use your personal phone while answering company calls on a different phone line in the area code that you need it from. The calls have great connection, and include text messaging and voice mail.
Cons
The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't send attachments you receive in text message over email directly from the app. You have to first download them and then send them through your phone.

We can't live without it!
Pros
I own two hair salons and we don't have a receptionist at either location. Google Voice has made our world so much better and allows us to streamline all client communication through one number. A few of my team members have access to it on their devices and we are able to communicate from home or away from the salons! Can't get better than that. We love the texting options also!
Cons
The only thing I would change is a simple feature... I'd love to have the option to "unread" text messages, to help us keep track of who has been communicated with. Other than that, its great!

Telephone!
Pros
Well it's easy to use this because you just sign up using your own phone number, then it gives you another number. I hated giving out my personal number for my business to strangers so this makes me feel better.
Cons
I haven't used it that long to see any cons. But it would be nice to put this on my daughters phones without having another number to provide just for them to call me.
