About TallyPrime
TallyPrime provides business management functionalities including accounting, finance, compliance, inventory, sales, purchase, point-of-sales, manufacturing, job costing, payroll, and branch management. The accounting module enables support tasks such as entry management, reminder letters and bank reconciliation and provides a dashboard to track business ratios. The sales module tracks orders, records receivables/payables and generates bills and invoices. Cash flow can be managed through the MIS reporting module to facilitate decisions regarding bank loans, credit limits and capital investments. TallyPrimes's inventory capabilities can support manufacturers, distributors and traders in stock accounting. Very good and provides rich experience of ERP
Pros
Multiligual capability, Imprint of auto Digital signature, Multiple invoice formats are few functionalities which i like the most.
Cons
Transactions can be deleted with out reversing it

Easy to use ERP9 Software
Ease to the business not only in Accounting side but also in analytics side
Pros
It's all ERP module are very easy to learn and use unlike other accounting software It's statutory feature ease the business
Cons
Firstly, It's aging feature of sundries need to be improved,
Secondly, for calculating tax for cgst and sgst we need to calculate it manually which needs to be improved

A complete accounting solution for small and medium enterprise.
I find Tally Prime as user friendly including new features like preparation of GST returns and easy to use. A new commerce person can use it with ease and can also take out results(Profit/Loss) of business with in few seconds of entering the journal entry.
Pros
It has included the features for import from excel which make the work easy and quick.
Now it helps to prepare GST returns directly and comparison also available.
It's cost is low as compared to other business management software's for small businesses.
It is user friendly. Whenever I pass a Journal entry, I can easily see its impact on Balance sheet and Profit and Loss account. As well as I don't need to switch the screen to make changes in Journal entry, I can directly jump into the entry and make changes.
Cons
It's slow working. If more than 2 users are there, it becomes slow.

TallyPrime is a waste of Time
Waste of time. I had to migrate out of it to Quickbooks, Zoho, etc. as it works super slow in my system, since I migrated to Tally Prime!
Pros
Few integration with other softwares & sound accounting features integrated.
Cons
1. No automation. In fact, to get automation, you need to pay someone to build, develop, implement & learn how to automate for each and every new automation you want!
2. Hangs a lot and the cloud version is designed to make money, not to sell the product!
3. A lot of good features are now obsolete. They haven't designed the product to upgrade with the digital world.
4. Bad UI/UX for a person who doesnt understand how accounting works. It's designed to discourage people, who do not know about accounting, not to pursue it!
Reasons for Switching to TallyPrime
The other products where not up to the mark 5 years back. Now they are.
