It simplifies the process of creating, editing, converting, and signing PDF documents, enhancing productivity while avoiding a steep learning curve. > > **Cons**: What I don't like about Nitro PDF is that some time feel sluggish when handling large PDF documents. > > In general, i have good experience with Nitro PDF. The application is very user friendly, allow generating, modifying, converting, and signing PDF files. ----- ### "Many Adobe features at a fraction of the price." — 4.0/5 > **Aaron** | *17 April 2025* | Facilities Services | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: It is a much cheaper option to Adobe Acrobat and performs very well in comparison. We are able to put our resources to more places by saving money with a product that can do the same job. > > **Cons**: It is not always a 100% match for what Adobe can do depending on what features you need, so there are some times when we need to reach outside of the product to find a solution. This is only for niche circumstances though. > > When we switched from Adobe, the majority of users were happy with what Nitro can do. The layout and options were laid out very similarly to Adobe so there wasn't even much of a learning curve to the change for our teams. The majority of people had no issues and adopted it immediately while a few others with specific workflows needed some extra support. ----- ### "Efficient PDF Management for Everyday Business Use" — 5.0/5 > **Bruno** | *26 March 2026* | Industrial Automation | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: What I like most about Nitro PDF is how easy it is to create, edit, and convert PDF documents. It has a user-friendly interface similar to Microsoft Office, which makes it very easy for my team to adopt. I also like the speed and the ability to handle large files without slowing down our PCs. > > **Cons**: What I like least is that sometimes it can be a bit heavy on system resources when working with very large or complex documents. > > Overall, my experience with Nitro PDF has been very good. It helps us manage documents efficiently in the company, especially for editing, signing, and converting files. I have some users that had a pretty minimal requirements i.e. add/remove pages. but the other guys cost so much money to get just a basic level of function. Nitro presented a cost effective license for PDF editing. > > **Cons**: The user interface was more clicks than would have been ideal. There are some functions such as page rotation that required additional clicks to rotate the entire document with no option to set that feature as the default setting. Training videos and help menu were very useful but typical users failed to investigate these without prompting from IT but when they did most issues were resolved quickly. > > Nitro PDF allowed us to equip entire departments that, in the past, would only purchase one or two subscription licenses from the other guys to manage costs. ----- ### "Nitro and its tools for PDF file manipulation" — 4.0/5 > **Eutimio** | *3 March 2022* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Nitro consists of many tools apart from viewing PDF documents, conversion, annotation, editing, merging, splitting, file size reduction, all of which are useful tools that can be used without the need to use an external application. > > **Cons**: Certain compatibility errors made it slow on some devices, like all paid software, in order to access the aforementioned tools you have to subscribe to the service. Therefore, the tools provided in a free plan are reduced but sufficient to work normally. > > I used nitro in my first years of university replacing Adobe Acrobat Reader, I liked it very much for the ease of use it has, in addition to the tools it provides, however the greatest strength is in its pro edition that is totally worth investing to have a good software for the manipulation of pdf files. ----- Page: 1 / 25\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/174016/nitro?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/174016/nitro) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | | fr | | ----- ## Structured Data
