About Google Forms

Google Forms is a survey management application that helps businesses create online surveys and questionnaires to collect and organize information. Its white-label capabilities enable organizations to design personalized surveys using custom logos, images or predefined themes. Google Forms assists professionals with creating custom Q&As, surveys, polls or pop quizzes using various question types including multiple-choice, dropdowns, linear scales or checkboxes. It lets administrators embed forms to existing websites or share them with specific clients or a target audience via email links, Google Currents, Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, the collaboration feature allows teams to simultaneously create or edit surveys. Google Forms enables managers to analyze entries in real-time and gain insight into survey data via charts, graphs and automated summaries. It is available for free as a part of Google’s suite of online tools. Support is extended via FAQs, forums, a help center and other online measures.

Nice Embedable Forms Used For Event Registrations

We have used them for years. They are reliable, and a great tool, especially for being a free product. When you embed them, they are reliable to render in the web page every time. This allows for basic logic flow, allowing us to ask yes, no, other, more... questions which need logic to present the proper questions needed.

Pros

This web form is very nice for small event planning. We use it as a registration form for classes we will be having. It is nice to have the form present cleanly on a webpage, allowing the user to fill in the information required, and then submit it to a Google Doc.

The ability to receive a confirmation email from a registration and also the end user receiving a confirmation with their information is very beneficial. They can then go back and edit, update, or cancel their registration at a later time.

Cons

Compared to Microsoft's Form, which is equally as feature rich, Google forms look a bit toy'ish. It would be nice to be able to customize a form to make it look a bit more professional, and less colorful and playful.

Typeform

Reasons for Choosing Google Forms

Typeform did not offer any actual features that Google Forms could not provide. They did allow for a more customized, professional looking form, but it was VERY expensive. Google's offerings work perfectly for us.

Reasons for Switching to Google Forms

Typeform was expensive, and we were already using Google more over Microsoft.

Quick and easy for all user levels!

Pros

Overall, Google Forms is very user-friendly and has just enough feature options for even the newest, most inexperienced user to be successful. If you like only having a few options or get overwhelmed by too many options when building forms, then this is the perfect product for you! It is quick and easy, especially if your ecosystem is already using Google Workspace. The ability to export data to Google Sheets and have it auto-update in realtime is extremely helpful, as well as gives more experienced users the opportunity to dive deeper into analytics by creating pivot tables, etc, in new sheets within the export document.

Cons

Customization options are limited with Google Forms, and while this can be a positive for some, for more experienced users - it does fill limited. For example, choosing color themes for the form (such as if you wanted it to be in your brand colors) is limited - which can be a negative if you are in charge of brand marketing.

Google Form is very much helpful in real life.

Its very mobile friendly, I can use it in any device and it's ability to add images, videos makes my form more gorgeous therefore I recommend it. In group project we can collaborate with others on form creation and there are many creative ways to use Google Form.

Pros

Google Forms really helps to collect valuable data and its going to be ta future of data collection. I really love how much time I can save by using this and it is increasing my productivity day by day.

Cons

The limit of uploading time is so little and I cannot edit any photo here. No option to see if it's submitted properly or not.
