Remind allows this communication to be secure without exchanging phone numbers. I love how I can schedule messages in advance, and even send a picture, or a video if needed. I like how parents can sign up as a parent so when you send a messages either you can pick parents or students, and I also like how there is an individual messaging option for a student to reach out to their teacher individually. I also like how there are “office hours “you can set so it will tell the student that it is outside of your office hours if they try to contact you at an appropriate time. > > **Cons**: I wish that the word maximum was larger. Right now it is very low, and I have found myself either making a video, or typing out my comment in a note or a message and screenshotting it and sending that instead. I also wish there was a way for group messages to show who has read the message. The individual messaging section does have this, but it would be very helpful if it was in the group section as well. > > Remind has been very helpful to me as a teacher during my entire career.
