My Review of Khan Academy
My overall experience with Khan Academy is good.
Pros
Khan Academy offers a variety of courses in different disciplines which is something good for people who want to learn different things. I like that learning at Khan Academy is free and available for anyone. Also, Khan Academy offers quizzes and exams after each lesson to test my knowledge.
Cons
Khan Academy has few subtitles for the most talkative languages only. Khan Academy doesn't have any advanced courses. Most of the courses are offered for beginners. Also, the interface of Khan Academy needs some improvement to be more engaging.

Invaluable Tool for Self-Paced Learning
Khan Academy is a powerful supporting character in my classroom. It helps to create and promote a culture of furthered learning and problem solving, helping my students to take charge of their learning and progress at their own pace. I could not imagine not having it in my classroom anymore!
Pros
My favorite part about Khan Academy is how it can be so easily incorporated to support self-paced and extension learning. The targets (lessons) are so well organized and the program itself is incredibly easy to navigate. Many of the lessons contain helpful tutorial videos which help support learners as well. My students get about fifteen minutes a day to progress through the math lessons, and Khan Academy has served to significantly boost students achievement in that time. It isn't a replacement for our full curriculum, but it is used to supplement and fill in gaps.
Cons
There isn't much to dislike about Khan Academy, but one gripe I do have is how busy the design is. Sometimes, particularly in the introduction to using the program, my students can get overwhelmed and unsure where to go and what to click on to find their work. Like anything else, this can be overcome with practice, but there is a lot on the screen to sift through at times.

Khan Academy is A Fantastic Learning Tool
Overall, Khan Academy has been a wonderful addition to my kids and their schooling. It mirrors what they're learning and makes it more fun than just a worksheet. A slight trick them into learning type of thing. The characters are sweet, and the content is perfect for every age and stage of learning.
Pros
We LOVE Khan Academy. My husband stumbled upon it years ago for our oldest daughter, and the content is spot on for exactly what kids are learning per grade. Now my son is in Kindergarten and he is using it too. Every area they've struggled with is featured on this app. And it's free!
Cons
I do not have any complaints about Khan Academy, except that I wish they offered a Spanish option. Both of my kids are in a Spanish Dual Language program, and we love Khan for English so much that I wish they had one for Spanish per grade too.

Best platform for UPSC Coaching
Pros
IIts a decent software where one can learn about competitive services. Daily MCQ content is good and dynamic. The best part is how they integrate the current portion of UPSC into the static portion which is quite helpful from a prelims point of view. Mains content of the competition service is also very good with mock papers
Cons
they concentrate only on UPSC and not on state psc papers.

Excellent Resources, Not Quite Complete
I use Khan Academy as a supplement to my regular course work but it is not complete enough to be the only thing I use.
Pros
I like the approach the Khan Academy takes to its courses. Providing videos and walkthrus are great for the students. The test prep is especially helpful.
Cons
The content is a bit lacking. Core subjects are covered quite well but as a complete solution, it needs to add more elective content. Computer Science in particular is not a robust as it could be.

It is no doubt excellent and effective .

Good Prep for SATs
Pros
I've mainly used Khan Academy to prepare for my SAT test, and it was very helpful. I took the SAT test twice, using Khan Academy to study for less than hour (total) in between, and scored 40 points higher the second time. I believe that if I had dedicated more time to studying using Khan Academy resources, I could've scored even higher. The best part is that it's free! It uses your results from the first test to help you study.
Cons
I have no complaints about this software since it personalizes your practice questions from your previous test(s).
