I called at 3:55pm and he gave me his best efforts, a great attitude, and he genuinely wanted to help me troubleshoot the issues we were experiencing. Many other POS systems for restaurants are outdate and cumbersome. Training on Cake took minimal time because of how intuitive and customizable everything is. Display has large, colored tile buttons like a smart phone or tablet, and the menu layout makes sense for the needs of a restaurant. > > **Cons**: Our business had both restaurant and retail and Cake POS was not incredibly conducive to retail management. The inventory tracking was set up more for food industry, not for retail SKUs. It did not have a scanner built in, items had to be searched for and clicked on. > > We loved Cake overall.
