RentalMan is the best rental management software around
Easy to pick up if you are familiar with AS400. There are more advanced GUI versions of RentalMan too but we get the most out of RolePlay.
Pros
Easy to use, easy to understand, easy to track assets.
Cons
Customization can be complex but not impossible. The RentalMan support staff are top-notch!

Rentalman software evaluation
I have been working as a Rentalman champion for 3 years. I am in charge of resolving all issues related with Rentalman; contacting Wynnesystems, providing training for users etc.
Pros
Complete ERP system, includes all equipment purchasing, payable, rental, maintenance, receivable, general ledger etc. All in one!
Cons
For us, our core system is another software. Anyway, we have a built an integration application between the core system and Rentalman. Everything works smoothly.

My opinion
It's been just over a year, using the software, so far there has been a few hiccups, but working through them. Support staff is helpful and knowledged.

New too the system great support
We have just started with the system. We are heading into fiscal year two. We have always had great support from the rentalman team. The training and introduction to the software was accurate and helped with the transission from our old software to the retntalman platfrom.
Pros
The software is very user friendly we have never had a problem training any of our new users and have them live in the system quikcly. The support team has always been good and quick to respond with any questions we had also.
Cons
The first year it takes time to figure out how you want to set up your users. But that only takes time to figure out.
