Meta Business over all other Content Schedulers
Overall we prefer Meta Business to other content planners/scheduling platforms. Meta also prioritizes pushing content that is scheduled through their proprietary platforms (so this is also good for your content).
Pros
Meta for Business makes it easy to schedule content, especially cross platform Facebook + IG! My favorite feature is that I can change the copy of the caption for the same graphic being posted based on the platform it is posting too! It saves so much time!
Cons
Sometimes the platform experiences little glitches. Our agency has experienced issues with posts not publishing, or posting ancient publishing dates (one time a post published with a 1960's date stamp!!! Cannot make this up). The bugs have become less frequent but we still have check-in our clients content to make sure it is publishing properly!
Reasons for Choosing Meta for Business
Meta is much easier to use, and the algorithm prioritizes content from Meta over third party schedulers.Reasons for Switching to Meta for Business
Meta is a free product and has actually developed more advanced features over the years - like their analytics! While bugs still exist, they have improved!

A well mapped program!
Used several of the metaphor business features integrated with other programs and was very happy with it
Pros
Tons of features all in one program! Efficient! Yeah, I think we do like 568. What’s that that means like in a week will continuously start getting 100. Yeah cause they’re 25 or 15 and so if we do five a day in about a week, we’ll start getting five a day paid.
Cons
I had a few issues with linking payments, but got it figured out

A must have for online businesses
Pros
Perfect centralized platform for managing ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. I particularly appreciate its intuitive interface, which simplifies creating, managing, and analyzing ad campaigns. The detailed audience targeting options are impressive, allowing me to reach specific demographics with precision. Additionally, the analytics dashboard provides real-time insights into campaign performance, helping me adjust strategies quickly. The integration with Meta Pixel is also a major plus, Overall, it's a comprehensive tool for businesses aiming to enhance their digital marketing efforts.
Cons
While Meta for Business is powerful, it has a steep learning curve for beginners. The interface, although feature-rich, can feel overwhelming at times, especially when navigating advanced tools like Meta Pixel or A/B testing. Another drawback is the frequent updates, which sometimes disrupt workflows or require re-learning certain features. Additionally, customer support can be slow or inconsistent, making it challenging to resolve technical issues quickly. Lastly, ad costs can escalate rapidly without clear guidance, which might be a concern for smaller businesses with limited budgets.

ALL YOU NEED IN ONE PLACE
It allows me to schedule posts or stories so I don't have to be on my phone when posting. It allows me to see how my social media growth is going and also organize my promotions.
Pros
Overall is an application that allows me to have my business organized and everything in just one place.
Cons
It has been giving me problems for about 9 months that have prevented me from being able to correctly synchronize my Instagram with my business's Facebook page. Although I have already seen that it is quite common, it does not take away from how excellent it is.

You'll end up using it, what can you do.
It's unavoidable for many businesses, but we are yet to see good returns on our investments so far. Maybe it's simply not the right fit for our business but we'll keep trying for now.
Pros
One of the best ways to reach a large audience, there can be great opportunities if it's a good fit for your use case and you know what you're doing.
Cons
Very complicated menu structure which constantly changes, lots of technical and other errors on many of the features and pages. Meta will always find a way to spend your entire budget, whatever the case is.

It's a need if you want to improve your business
I am satisfied with the results lately, but it's hard to work on it. Sometimes it takes too long to load the features. There are some features they have changed that it's not good for Local Business, but on the other hand, the campaings work better than 2 years ago. Their advantage plus option is very recommended nowadays.
Pros
It works fine, because it has a lot of audience. Besides, the Advantage plus is working really fine after a few years using it. Meta is working good to auto-optimize the campaigns we work on.
Cons
It's very slow to work in it. It changes too quickly and sometimes it's hard to find the features we need. Besides it would be nice if it shows better reports of the actions and campaings.

A required tool for any digital marketer
It is a tool which we are required to use in order to be present and run ad campaigns in Meta. I would never recommend it if we had to pay for it.
Pros
Meta for Business is a useful tool for our digital marketing strategy, it handles the different META brand digital assets in a single place. You can program posts and videos.
Cons
It is constantly changing, and something which works today can break tomorrow. (Account associations, permissions, and of course account suspensions without any cause are the major issues we've faced)
Also: It is almost impossible to get any help from the current help options. Customer service is terrible.

Méta for digital page success
easy to use, efficient, economical, rich in information, it is a tool that makes it easier for us to manage our activity
Pros
I can't imagine managing my page without meta, it's a companion tool for page administrators, I love the variety of Kpis, the possibility of planning, launching and monitoring an advertising campaign and manage the commun. All this is for free. I should also mention the fact of being in contact with the community, understanding their preferences, expectations and reactions really helps us produce adequate content and ensure good performance of the page.
Cons

Most confusing software I've ever used
Very frustrating, confusing and anger enducing.
Pros
I like that you can now schedule social content in the app itself. Other third party apps got my Instagram account blocked.
Cons
Almost everything. It's the most confusing piece of software I've ever seen. Every time I click on something, the whole layout and interface changes and it seems to bring you to a new version of the same system, where everything is different. I'm always lost, can never find what I'm looking for and hate to use it.

Meta for Business
Pros
I love the convenience Meta for Business creates for my small beauty business. I can see everything I need, in one place.
Cons

More of a 'should have' than 'must have'
Overall, a presence on Meta nowadays is almost an unwritten rule of any business, however I would not recommend managing it yourself unless you have prior experience with the platform. It has awful customer support that will either advise you cannot do things or just send you the link to the closest matching FAQ (IF you can actually get a hold of their support, that is). Even if you do take on the challenge, you could end up spending a lot more than you need too due to the complexity and vagueness of the pricing. That being said, if used effectively, Meta can be one of the most powerful marketing tools you can get utilise, it just has to be used correctly.
Pros
Meta for Business provides possibly the largest exposure for customers possible, however it can be quite difficult to use and costly to use effectively.
Cons
The sheer complicated factor of Meta combined with it's almost useless customer support mean it's almost impossible to get help using the product, and is one reason why third party social media management companies exist in order to do this for you. Unless you have experience using this product, you almost certainly will not use it to it's full potential.

Great Way to Crosspost on Social Media
We have really enjoyed using Meta for Business overall and look forward to using it more in the future.
Pros
At the Indiana Historical Bureau, we like that we can create a post and publish it simultaneously on Facebook and Instagram, which has helped grow the latter account substantially. We also really like the post planning tool, which allows us to schedule posts weeks or even months in advance, saving us time on social media work.
Cons
We have found that some of the wayfinding for components of the application is a little difficult to discern. It is not always obvious when you're switching from a personal account on Facebook and when you're using the official IHB account. This component could be made much easier.

Pros

Works great until it doesn't.
It's hit or miss whether or not it works for clients based on industry and audience. You're very much under the thumb and will of Meta and have to play by their ever changing rules or not at all.
Pros
Can't argue with the reach and exposure. It's a great way to reach specific audiences and to build brand recognition and loyalty.
Cons
Constant changes. Frequent interface updates makes it very hard to find what you're looking for. It also makes help articles and walk throughs irrelevant. However, the biggest problem of all with Meta if something is flagged in error, it's almost impossible to get corrected, approved, or to actually talk to a human being.

A powerful, yet complicated, advertising tool
We are an advertising agency and we are using Meta for Business on a daily basis for a number of our clients. The wealth of tools & options that it provides can be powerful when used correctly. However, the complexity of the tool and the endless metrics can misguide both users and end clients, when it comes to reviewing results & deciding on upcoming campaign optimisations.
Pros
The platform is always updated & renewed with new functionalities to help advertisers target their audiences.
Cons
The fact that the platform is always updated, it makes it less user friendly, especially for people who are not using it on a daily basis. Also, the platform is trying to automate everything through AI hence users need to be really experienced in order to make the most out of the platform.

Meta for Business is NECESSARY for Business
Pros
Every business needs Meta for Business. Being able to schedule content, having your content calendar, viewing analytics, real-time chat and automated chat, and having both Facebook and Instagram is crucial. It's very easy to use, and it often has valuable recommendations, including active times for posting. It's perfect for marketers who work with multiple accounts because you can be an admin of an unlimited amount of accounts. It's free, and paid advertising is low-cost. The analytics alone would be worth paying (but you don't have to!). There are so many great features and functions - I could keep writing for hours.
Cons
There are not many cons with Meta for Business. On rare occasions, a post may fail to publish when it's scheduled—that can be very frustrating, so it's important to check to make sure it's published properly. You may have an issue with tagging as a user may not always come up but there's a workaround by typing in the profile URL. Meta for Instagram analytics is frequently inaccurate, so I highly recommend going directly to Instagram and manually pulling post analytics.

Necessary, 'free' tool for advertising. Comes with a learning curve.
Overall, ok experience. The benefit of being able to advertise on their platforms outweighs the frustrations: constantly removing targeting options that are helpful for us, always making it harder to build custom campaigns versus their AI suggested, and the nonexistent support is frustrating when we have ads that get disapproved.
Pros
I love the self-serve options and customizations
Cons
How glitchy it can be when loading campaigns or trying to publish ads. Also, I've been working in it for 10 years so am well-versed, but for newcomers it's definitely a good learning curve to get maximum benefit out of it (and not be taken advantage of by all their AI options that are automatically suggested).

Meta for Business Review
I would say it's an average experience. It gets the job done but doesn't wow me. For advanced scheduling I use a third-party tool (ContentStudio) rather than directly through Meta.

It's simply a very bad tool overall
HORRIBLE. That's it! We just use it sometimes because our customers ask for it, but we try to avoid it whenever possible.
Pros
I honestly do not see many pros for this other than still having a lot of users inside Facebook and Instagram. Other than that, it's miserable!
Cons
The fact that menus are constantly changing. Multiple and unstable errors in multiple parts of the platform. "Robot like" answers from support (this is by far the worst support I've ever seen and I know many people that worked for their support that gave up because their managers were simply very bad so it's a top to bottom problem inside the company). It's unbearable the fact that I know one specific case where two accounts (one page and one personal profile) that were stolen and their automated answer was multiple times the same: "You have to login to your account and change your password." A stolen account and this is the answer to the original owner? It's just unbelievable. We had multiple cases where we wanted to stop a campaign and were charged more than what we initially expected. We had cases where we wanted to remove ourselves or customers from pages and there were multiple errors. We cannot believe how Meta Business can still survive honestly... other than the number of users, it's horrible their service.

Overall, I love the product when it's working properly. When there is a service-wide glitch, it can be painful.
Pros
Meta is a powerhouse for targeted image ads. Its a necessary part of most full scale marketing campaigns because you can achieve great results.
Cons

Facebook ads are no longer a slam-dunk
Meta is hit and miss now. You might have a good outcome with a campaign, or you might get lost and your message is only seen by bots and trolls, and you end up with a mailbox full of porn ads. It's embarrassing as a business to have to click on and delete these messages. The worst part, there is no way to avoid it. It's so obvious that they don't care anymore and are only in it for the money.
Pros
I do have one "pro": I like that we can post to Facebook without leaving Instagram, which is at least a little more tolerable than Facebook.
Cons
There is no actual customer support. The spam and straight up PORNOGRAPHY they allow in Direct Messaging makes it extremely unpleasant to wade through the fake messages to hopefully find a real customer.

Meta Enhances our Growth
We are a small nonprofit. Donations and engagement from social media make up a not-insignificant amount of our fundraising. We are not in a position to even consider removing social media from our business plan. However, we found that there was a significant knowledge gap between staff members who use social media for personal use and professionals who implement marketing strategies. We don't have the budget to hire a full-time social media marketer. At the same time, having untrained staff oversee our social media accounts resulted In underwhelming campaign results and dozens of hours of loss productivity due to their lack of understanding of the features provided by Meta for Business. Utilizing Meta for Business has solved both of those problems. I strongly recommend businesses use the approach we used. It saves money, results in more engagement, and provides a more professional appearance.
Pros
The automated programming, ability to schedule posts, and the analytics that are provided are save us countless hours of manpower each week. By hiring a person to come once a week, we have been able to cut the operations costs of social media campaigns to less than 20% of what we were spending.
Cons
There are no drawbacks or negative impacts of using Meta that would lead us to consider another approach. If anything, the biggest drawback is that it doesn't work on other social media platforms. Once we started using it, we quickly realized how much better it was than the included software on other platforms.

Necessary Evil
Meta for Business is a necessary evil. It works and generates business, however there are obvious quirks with the software that are a continuous annoyance. The UI could be a little more straightforward, but I understand they jam in a lot of "features".
Pros
It works to generate business, it's not perfect but we run a lot of ads and generate a lot of leads.
Cons
UI not straightforward. Weird quirks that make completing somewhat normal tasks difficult. Support and getting responses is sub par.
