Ease of use and easy to navigate

The experience has been great. It has been an easy system to learn and navigate. As an admin, learning the system and establishing processes has been seamless. Coming from Dynamics GP, the troubleshooting is more manageable and there is very little customization required.

Pros

The system is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The usability was one of the first reasons for choosing the solution.

Cons

There are some weaknesses in the system, like customer refunds and equations have to be written for some reports.

Dynamics GP was rumored to be sunsetting (which proved to be true) and we had heavily customized that system. We needed a system that could continue to grow with us.

Acumatica was the more user-friendly system. The Acumatica platform also offered features that other systems were lacking or not strong in, like process manufacturing.

A Great ERP Choice

Acumatica real review and observations

for system slowness issue, the only solution is to upgrade the servers.

Pros

value for money and recommendable. Since this is unlimited users, we were able to give access to all our 1000+ employees and all of them use this application for their daily transactions.

Cons

the user license is not per user. it allows all our employees to have access on it.

Positive Experience

Overall, it has been a positive experience. The ability to customize anything and everything has been extremely beneficial for overall efficiency.

Pros

Reporting & dashboard tools help us drill into decision making data faster and easier. The ability to customize Acumatica to fit our industry's workflow is a driving factor for why we chose them.

Cons

I feel the standard WMS for Acumatica is lacking basic functions and sorting abilities. Had to heavily customize it to function the way we needed it to.

The are some points in project management thant should change. Essentially, we are not managing inventory, but we would like to have the option tp make purchase request directly for project. The are no possibility for not to add the project and task in a purchase request.

Rising Star of ERP systems / very stable data exchange / IFRS applicable

Brilliant product and awesome team! I wish I met them a decade ago so we could implement the solution of all solutions we used to change just lacking some features and most reasoning is rapid and correct work of application at any load.

Pros

Acumatica is the most stable cloud ERP solution I have ever met. It has large variety of options to connect via API to different sources and has very efficient data exchange protocol. That makes data exchange in seconds which is crucial for modern business to have instant update for inventory and cash position. Acumatica has as well the most sophisticated consultants network, very friendly and people who are really delivering solutions.

Cons

It is some expencive for medium business, especially for initial implementation. Some regions in Europe are not supported, probably for accounting specific eligible there.

A Truly Great Open Solution

Overall, my experience has been great. The software is straightforward and extremely reliable. I would recommend it to anyone as long as they know what their challenges are, they know what their end goal is, and they have a clear process on how they want to handle their business.

Pros

I like the flexibility and customizable nature of Acumatica. As a more tech minded or interested person, I love the ability to come across a challenge and know that you can find a solution with enough time and effort. Acumatica puts you in control over your software and does a great job not limiting you to out of the box options and features.

Cons

I have mostly had challenges with internal culture, most of our team isn't as interested in creating our own solution / process and instead tends to prefer simple premade solutions. If you aren't clear on your end result, and what you want, you can spend a lot on add-ons. That's less an Acumatica fault as it is a challenge with a system that has so much possibility for integrations.

The Future of Construction ERP

My confidence in Acumatica is so strong that I shifted my career path and became a reseller of Acumatica, focusing on the construction industry. My experience with them has been unparalleled as far as their commitment to the product, the industry, to their resellers, and their customers.

Pros

In addition to Acumatica's robust construction features, the open API, volume of integrated products (and unlimited ability to integrate to any platform), and the strength of features available beyond traditional construction-specialized ERP platforms (eg: automated bank feeds and credit card feeds for automation of bank and credit card reconciliations, native expense management with OCR recognition of receipts, robust manufacturing and distribution features) as well at being true, native, cloud and unlimited users make this the best ERP platform for the construction industry today - and position it to be the leading construction ERP of the future.

Cons

The only recommendation I would have to construction contractors considering Acumatica is to consider using a third party for field time entry. While Acumatica has this functionality, and it is included in the core licensing, based on my extensive experience in the construction industry, the time entry UI on the mobile app is not as efficient as it is in third-party products that are dedicated to capturing field labor time in the construction industry.

Poor system

Wish we didn't have it.

Pros

It's got pretty pictures and was sold as a fix all. The only redeeming feature is that is allowed longer account numbers.

Cons

Very difficult to implement and costly the estimate was less than 25% of actual cost.

My Review of ACU

Experience is good. It's just frustrating having to build everything from scratch.

I am not sure yet tbt. I am still using this product under a year now. I like the Cloud Aspect of it.

Cons

Report Design Editor / Wiki Editor / Everything seems very 1999 and not Modernized WYWG.Approvals & Maps is a disaster putting together - Nothing saves you have to go back. The whole Editingfunction of it is very draconian and old!. Creating INstances & Tenants is a pain and Customization Projects having to put them in again is such a joke. Upgrading is not fun!.

Beginning to See the Light

The most self-customizable ERP we have seen

Acumatica is a good system but the ability to customize it allows us to make it exactly what we need. It took some time to learn how to adapt it to our needs but every day it gets better and better for us.

Pros

We can customize the system in many different ways. Individual users can customize their screen and various reports on their screen. Without coding, we can customize many things, create new fields, etc. This flexibility allows us to make the system suit the way we do business.

Cons

The price is a bit high for a small business to get started. I want to use some features offered in other modules but they are quite expensive to add those.

Acumatica Review

Mostly positive, it is our inhouse ERP and we install it for other firms. We recieve good feedback from clients.

Pros

Easy to pick up

Cons

Doesn't have an auto save feature
Sometimes when there is lag, and info has bee inputted the system will wipe the info
Still needs more market exposure

Licensing isn't per user.

Cons

Cons

Reports could be a little more user friendly and should be able to create new ones a little easier than we can at this time. Need to much support to create specialty reports. Sales tax reports should be a standard report for all companies.

Customizable to meet the needs of the HVAC Construction/Service Industry

We use Acumatica for Project Managment in construction, which I would say is the strongest part of this ERP platform. Linked to that we use the service module for scheduling service calls with our service technicians. Tied to both of these modules is inventory management and payroll. For the most part it has met the needs of each of these parts of our company.

Pros

Acumatica is fairly simple to learn and is quite customizable to meet the needs of our HVAC construction/service industry.

Cons

There are still some ways that it needs to improve in how the different modules work together. There are times where it is not that easy to follow the path between modules.

Growing ERP in it's Early Stages

Pros

The ease of use and simplicity of the user interface. Very adaptable platform and has a growing API vendor list.

Cons

Not as intuitive and lacks a large community database of support. There also aren't enough people trained to build out the architecture and a large dependence on 3rd party implementation/support.

Acumatica - Robbins

Overall we have had a very good experience using the Acumatica software.

Pros

The system is very user friendly. Most of the screens have the ability to download to excel.

Cons

Could be better...

Overall experience sucks. I believe this is partially not Acu's fault. Don't use Kensium as a VAR, or IIG.

Pros

Um, it mostly works. Allegedly it's totally customizable.

Cons

Can't get basic financial statements. It's extremely spendy. Would prefer to be on NetSuite.

Acumatica For Finance_ Agriculture Industry

Great customisations which removes limitations found on other ERP's

Pros

1.Ability to track projects at plantations per block of plants. It allows management and production team to analyse profitability further by having smaller P&Ls per block.
2. Customisation

Cons

The default template in the system for inventory does not allow capturing different items issued out of stock on different date so further customisation is required.

It's a great product if you've got the time to set it up right

We are still learning it at this point, having used it only a few years, but the more I learn about the system, the more I like it, tbh.

Pros

Acumatica is highly customizable and has a great support team. There is also alot of information available through Acumatica's learning material as well as forums where many answers are found.

Cons

The most difficult part of Acumatica is if it's not fully brought on board and understood from the start, the cusomizations applied to the structure end up costing both time and money, because with each update, there's extra work to keep everything functioning the same. But, if you've got someone on your team who understands these sort of customizable cloud ERP systems, and the company, and this person is able to determine that Acumatica is a great fit, this is a great product for sure.
