The idea use case is adding a seat to your Candu account and giving access to an editor or content manager. It allows them to change up the content inside the content block without 1) needing access to the underlying website itself; 2) needing to code anything. I also really like the team and the support. I've had a few hiccups along the way but support got it taken care of very fast. I also am impressed that Candu has so many guides to help me along the way of getting it integrated and everything up and working. I would definitely recommend this product to someone that needed a great no-code web tool. > > **Cons**: The only thing I don't really like at the moment is the install process. The Candu website provides a javascript script to enter and in that javascript you have to tag the slug and css id for inserting the content block. It can seem intimidating, but the docs explain it very well. Support helped me out in just a few minutes and I was up and running very fast. > > I have had a great experience so far. Before I give my review, please accept my thank you first to bring these tools to the world and you give me the opportunity to use Candu at the right time. I'm rarely make a long review, but you guys really deserve it. Thank you for letting me in after the appsumo deals are over. Really appreciate it. First of all, the most I like with Candu is its capability to create dashboard onboarding without coding and can embed it into another saas. I'm running a small agency with no good coder. We were always not satisfied with our programmer work, or our freelancer work. Yeah, I can't do anything since I cannot do some coding, and takes time to do revision. We always struggle to create a beautiful dashboard in an effective way, struggling for years, then came Candu to my face. In first time use, I love the UI they have, so simple. Their block system and drag and drop builder are easy to understand. For design matters, the key is if you can maximize the configuration for padding, growth, shrink function, you can almost create anything with these tools as you want. Do not need to worry again to the unresponsive section. Haha.\! In this case, you can create the most epic onboarding dashboard using these tools. Really impressive. Their support is really patient explain to me while I'm learning this. So in conclusion, what I like the most: - Simple impressive Builder - Blocking system - Great community - Always updated - Good customer service, thank you, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]\! > > **Cons**: The first time I see these Candu, I'm not sure what is these tool. A common website builder? Their video introduction is funny and good. But for a no coder like me, it's hard to understand the first time What is this tool?? What these tools can do? For me, they try to tell me, this is a tool for no coder. But the way they explain to me, is not quite simple. Even for the tutorial, I'm trying to read the docs, a lazy man like me usually just want to search some keyword I want to know, such as "how to use in my website", but surprisingly there are no search function in their docs. Hope they will add such a feature soon. What I least about this software: - No search function on docs - No mobile preview - Their docs explanation for no-coder like me need to be upgraded. If you aim for no coder guy, you need to do something with your explanation. In my opinition. - Customer service responses take hours. > > Happy. The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is downright arrogant, and even boasts on video that how he cleverly used the appsumo platform to get paid for features that he intended to release for free, plus make the scapegoats pay, this kind of attitude especially from the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] sends all the bells ringing, which would also define the overall ethical make of the company. He also mentions on the video that he made money and got free testers to help identify and iron out the bugs, which helps him improve the product plus by making updates paid, he also gets the same users to pay for upgrades. This is not at all an ethical practice, the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] seems to be more inclined to find loopholes than seriously support the early adopters. feature wise the product is meh.. not worth owning at this point, and has a steep learning curve to the point of tiring. the only reason i got it was hoping that it would get better, but now we are expected to pay for it, so would steer clear of this, get a developer to do it for you, might be cheaper and reliable. > > **Cons**: The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] attitude, who after a seemingly good campaign on appsumo, decide to pull the plug on the very users who supported them when they were not even a tool. I was so wrong\! Out of curiosity, I did a little research to figure out what it did. I discovered that it was exactly what I needed, I just hadn't figured it out. I'm currently building a SaaS backlink manager, and one of the features I have on my roadmap is a checklist with SEO tips. We figured that building the feature would require about 2 weeks of developer time. Well, it just so happens that Candu has a template for checklists that tracks and saves the user's progress. However, I needed a little bit more for my specific use case. I have to track the checklist progress for each domain the user is tracking backlinks for. So, I needed per project tracking, not just user tracking. Fortunately, all I had to do was ask the team at Candu if my use case was possible. They not only replied with the answer I was looking for, then even created a post with my specific question on their knowledge base\! I was able to implement the checklist into my SaaS in less than 30 minutes. I saved at least 2 weeks of development time\! Now I'm looking into doing a user dashboard, also with the help of a Candu template.
