Easiest Graphic Design Tool Ever
I have been using Canva for several years and it is one of those programs I cannot live without. It is probably the most versatile tool for creating graphics for social media and it also does a lot more. For example, you can create lead magnets, edit your photos and videos and create web pages.
Pros
Very user friendly and intuitive. Makes it easy to create great graphics for the web with limited design skills.
Cons
If you don't stay on top of things, your Canva can become very disorganized. Adding things to folders and saving templates isn't that easy.

Canva is for the Uneducated Designer
Overall, it's an easy platform designed to bang out fairly simple designs. It lacks a lot of options educated professional graphic designers need to create high quality content. But for those without any design experience I think it's great.
Pros
I think Canva is a great platform is constantly increasing their apps library and it allows the non-designer to quickly create assets for their business. For the educated designer Canva offers the chance to create assets to sell and share to clients that aren't very design savvy. It's come a long way since it's conception and I think we'll always use it in some capacity.
Cons
The design options are limited for the educated designer and you're dependent on the internet to use it. This platform is aimed at uneducated designers. For educated designers it lacks the high quality design options that other design platforms have.

Versatility and ease of use
We were previously using Microsoft Publisher for our flyers and monthly program, and as our business began to grow, Publisher just couldn't keep up. When we graduated to Canva it really took our design game to a whole new level. It felt like going from drawing stick figures to painting Picasso's overnight. We gained space to add more, we drastically improved the appearance of all of our marketing materials with the greatly improved graphics, and we took a huge step forward in our versatility and ease of use. This product definitely gets two big thumbs up from us!
Ps. We are a non-profit which means that we are able to use the pro features free of charge. That is a huge bonus for us as well. That being said... the standard free version is still pretty great.
Pros
What I like most about Canva is its versatility. I can create flyers, calendars, videos, and more. Also, I am only moderately tech savvy, and I have found Canva to be very user friendly.
Cons
There is really not much to dislike about this software, but if I had to nitpick, I guess I would say that keeping it organized is the thing I like least about it. I use it a lot, so it is a lot to arrange, but if I'm being honest with myself, that is really more on me than the software.

Canva is the tool I've dreamed about - I simply love it!
My experience with Canva has been really awesome. In the past, I've been using different tools to create my designs but now I simply have everything in one place and countless ideas for designs, which sparks my creativity and keeps me inspired to continue using it. I also love the fact that you can create a team with your membership so you can invite family members as well and they don't see your designs unless you share them, still keeping the privacy element.
Pros
What I love the most about Canva is the fact that you can do anything in one place: any kind of design, presentations, websites, brainstorming ideas and even better, using AI to create anything, from visuals to ad copy. It's absolutely the best tool I ever used and I have been a happy customer ever since I first heard of it years ago.
Cons
I wouldn't say there is something specifically that I don't like but I do think it could have some improvements, such as encouraging artists to post more elements that are editable when it comes to colors, as many of them are not editable and when you have to design using a specific color theme, you are unable to use them.

Canva's great for teams, non-designers, designers, and creativity boosts -- just be careful...
I was a Photoshop fan for decades as a non-designer but marketer who knows how to make marketing materials look professional. I upgraded Photoshop Elements every few years or so until I hired a brand designer to rebrand my company in 2019 and we decided to use Canva and I've been hooked ever since.
It's super easy for collaborations with my team who don't have any design software.
It's also great to link to specific frameworks in my mailings because I write mails in text only format to keep my CO2 footprint low.
And it's really great for non-designers who just want nice-looking graphics to support their marketing. Just be careful about going off-brand with those amazing templates!
Pros
The ease of creating really good looking graphics as well as all the templates available. The new AI feature is ok and will likely improve tremendously with time. I also like that we can use premium Unsplash photos with a paid account.
Cons
One of the best things I like about canva is also one of the least things I like about it = the amazing templates also make it very easy to go off-brand when you're not a brand designer. I've done that several times and I really have to be careful. ;)
Another thing I'm not really happy about is the fact that the images and graphics I add in the 'Brand' section are difficult to import into my creatives. Maybe I don't understand this feature, so I upload all my branding graphics so that I can easily use them. I don't know why the graphics/photos in the 'Brand' section can't be easily imported. This makes no sense to me.
The last thing I'm not really happy about is the amount of clicks and time I need to spend to export each graphic. I wish we could default these settings, i.e. I always have to deselect download 'ALL' pages to only download one which is always what I need to do. Also, I download more .jpgs than anything else. It just takes so long to adjust the settings every single time.

Canva for Life!
Amazing, I have made some incredible designs and because of the new tools and developments within the software that they continuously build on, my work over the last few years has only gotten better and better!
Pros
The versatility, hands down. I am always saying to people that "I can do that in Canva" because it literally offers such a diverse set of design options with completely customizable content and amazing starting templates.
Cons
Honestly the only thing that annoys me when working within canva is how my files are organized. I have to dig and dig and dig sometimes to find a file. However, I must say that if I would have been smart, I would have labelled all my files with specific searchable titles and created folders for the various different projects I worked on. It does offer the tools for organization, so this con is probably more user error and lack of thinking ahead. I plan to reorganize it all one day but it will be a daunting task. Luckily Canva saves me time!

Print Business Cards Quickly
Canva gave me an easy way to design and print my business cards. The standard process would have taken much longer and would have been more expensive. Also, I don't know if I would have received a digital copy to use for email.
I'm happy that I decided to go with Canva instead! Totally recommend.
Pros
Canva has a library of design templates that I can fill in and use. There's also a large selection of photos, animations, script, (etc.) that can be added to the template.
When I open the app there is a selection of design type to choose from and a search bar. I searched "attorney" and "business card" and there were more results than I could look through. I chose one I liked and replaced the example text with my firm name. I also replaced one of the images with a custom image that I imported from my phone. I used Canvas tools to remove the background from the image and add a filter.
I was going to export the finished design and send it to a print shop, but Canva actually prints too and the prices are great. They shipped my business cards quickly and they were beautiful. Everything was exactly how I wanted it.
It's worth noting that I have little skill in the creativity department but Canva was still easy for me to use. There's no need to actually draw or even coordinate colors. It's all done and ready in the templates.
Cons
I would have appreciated more printing options (paper and finish, etc.)
Canva has free templates but most have a star with "Pro" in the corner and can't be printed without a watermark unless you pay for it or purchase a subscription. The subscription is the best value since some templates can cost more but there's no trial.

Canva is an all-in-one program that exceeds our use case. We love it and have used it for promos, poster designs and social media post designs. The opportunities are endless and we love that you can export in all file sizes and types for printers.
Pros
Very easy to use. Great for branding and logo design with a wide range of ideas and inspiration. We export high quality images which is hard to find an easy to use program with that option at an affordable price range.
Cons

Canva is a good all-in-one platform for social media posting but not for printing/higher...
Overall, Canva is a great platform for people who have minimal skill in more professional softwares or who can't afford the higher price point of those products along with Stock subscriptions. Canva is an all-in-one platform and it's conveinent. If you're used to having complete control over document setup, color profiles, etc. You will find some frustrations with Canva.
Pros
The templates and assets you can add like gifs, graphics, music, photos, videos, etc. are great. It's nice having access to all of that in one platform/subscription.
Cons
The export quality. Despite selecting the highest quality exports, there is still some blur with certain images when posted on social media. Now this could be due to posting through Hootsuite, I'm not sure if there is compression happening, but I have noticed it even when not posting through Hootsuite. It's enough of an issue for us to leave Canva, just something I've noticed. Another thing I dislike, is that Canva is setup for RGB colorways, not CMYK, so if you're planning on printing the files, there will be a difference in color due to the color profile not being in CMYK. I also am proficient with Adobe programs, so use those for printing products/high quality documents, images, etc. And then use Canva for social media posts where high-quality isn't as important, and it's more helpful to have easy access to stock icons, graphics, etc.

Easy Design for the Non Teckie User!
Canva has not only made our lives easier by allowing us to easily design marketing items for our marketing program for our business, however it has cut down on our outsourcing fees for design by a ton! Now we can do all or at least most of our design work in house. It is magical.
Pros
I love the ease of use of the product, it's user friendly and really anyone can use it easily. When I'm not sure what to do, I just browse for the answer and so far have never been stumped! Drag and drop - drag and drop - repeat. We have the paid version and absolutely love all the options, all the photos and videos.
Cons
The only thing I stumble on sometimes is the navigation. Where to find my files. Where did they go? And I have to click and click and oh there they are! They are always there though. I have folders that I have made that are a bit difficult to find sometimes.

Canva is easy to use
I love Canva, I use it daily to create images and videos. I noticed that it has been improving more and more, especially in terms of videos and with this it helps us a lot to do incredible things.
Pros
The ease and practicality of finding models, elements and resources, so that you feel like a designer who knows how to make models for companies through great resources, where over time you will be able to do better things than in Photoshop.
Cons
It needs a little more resources, so that we can get close to Photoshop when it comes to static images. Because many resources we have to do a "jump" to look like what we do in Photoshop and as a result we waste a little time.

Everything I know about graphic design I learned using Canva!
I've been using Canva for about four years. When I started, I was pretty clueless about graphic design and didn't have much skill. At this point, I use Canva at least once a week - sometimes much more than that - and am proficient and skilled, and can make professional looking ads, letterheads, invoices, postcards, graphics, presentations, videos - you name it!
Pros
Canva offers an abundance of options for templates, or allows you to create from scratch in any size, format, or medium you could ask for.
Cons
I am sometimes frustrated when elements are automatically aligned to other objects when I do not want them to be. This limits your control of placement or sizing in some circumstances.

Save Time and Money
Canva saves time and money, I can quickly create advertising and edit photos for a
listing. I can share the project link with coworkers.
Canva is good for our company!
Pros
Canva gives me quick access to custom templates, images, documents, presentations, video, AI generation, GIF, and more.
Brand kits save our company colors, logo, and images which I can apply to a template with one tap. I can use the business category to find appropriate templates in any size/orientation. If I dont like part of the template I can change or remove it easily. Canva will provide similar options I can replace it with or I can search with my own criteria. Magic Grab or Magic Erase can isolate one part of an image when cropping isn't sufficient.
Canva now has Dream Lab which can generate an image, text, or even music based on a description. It only takes a few seconds and I get multiple results.
All projects are saved, convenient if I need to add updates or make corrections. I can also resize any project in a few seconds.
I can save projects in any format and with my subscription I can download as many times as I need, saving money if I were to need a PDF and JPEG copy for example.
Cons
Sometimes when I upload a photo and use it in a frame, the photo doesn't fit the way I'd like. There is an option to detach the image and adjust, but I wind up with the same result (even with large images).
When adjusting the size of a photo if I drag the wrong side part of the photo is cut off. I like that I can crop photos, but that process and simply adjusting the overall size should be separate.

There's almost nothing you can't do with Canva
I've been using Canva for 4 years, and it has never let me down.
I've been able to create so much with it.
And even some designers I've hired to make assets for me have used Canva — which is great because I get to own the native file and update the text on it in the future.
I think it's very reasonably priced for what you get.
Pros
What is there NOT to like about Canva? It's great for professional designers AND those of us who need to DIY but aren't pros.
Things I love about Canva:
- There is a template for EVERYTHING
- Every template is customizable
- With paid plans, you get access to so many different plugins and assets
- I was able to create so many things: invoice banners, email signatures, LinkedIn photo and banner, business cards, social media posts, reports, slides — the list goes on.
Canva never lets me down. Whenever I log into Canva to make something, I'm always pleasantly surprised at what I *can* do with it.
But the main thing I love about Canva is how easy it is to use.
Cons
The only teeny tiny thing I don't love about Canva is the actual dashboard with all the folders and projects. I still find it not intuitive and messy-looking. I like things organized in folders, but for some reason my dashboard is always flooded with "recent" designs. Looking for and finding an existing file always takes longer than it should

Canva - Definitely Worth It for Beginners
Overall Canva is an essential tool for the Graphic Design Novice, entrepreneur looking to quickly generate high-quality content, or even designer with a creative block. It provides countless templates for every holiday, occasion, or announcement. Canva is a diversified tool that is also embracing AI in new and interesting ways.
Pros
Canva is extremely user-friendly, with an easy-to-navigate interface, AI-assistance with designs, and can be integrated with numerous apps. This makes creating unique QR codes, finding the perfect layout for various types of social media posts, and developing detailed documents easier than ever. With Canva Pro, you have access to a large library of stock videos, images, and photos.
Cons
Canva's customer support is difficult to get ahold of. You have to jump through numerous chat-robot hoops and try every trick in your Google Search handbook to get through to a real person, and oftentimes, the support agent won't resolve your issue. Third-party apps can sometimes crash without explanation and with no ETA for resolution from support staff. Additionally, many elements are not as customizable as they would be with Adobe products (but that might just be the price you pay for simpler usability).

Canva is so easy to use, it’s almost laughable. It’s like the platform has its own little mind, just waiting to whip up the perfect design for whatever I need. I mean, pick a template (Canva got one for everything—flyers, posts, resumes, you name it), throw in some text, change a few colors if I’m feeling adventurous, and voilà! In less time than it takes to make a cup of coffee, I’ve got a design that looks like it came out of a professional studio.
Canva is everywhere. It’s on my laptop when I’m working from home, on my phone when I’m out and an idea pops into my head, and even on my tablet when I want to make a few quick tweaks on the go. I can start something on my laptop, pop out for a coffee, and keep working on my phone like it’s no big deal. It’s like having a pocket-sized design studio with me at all times—and honestly, I didn’t know I needed that kind of flexibility until Canva handed it to me.
So yeah, Canva has turned me into something of a designer, even though I never planned on being one. And you know what? I’m not looking back.
Cons
Now, I’d be lying if I said Canva could do it all. It’s amazing, yes, but it’s not exactly Picasso’s studio. Its magic is in how simple it is, but that also means I don’t get to control every little detail. The free version, has a few annoyances. Canva knows it’s good, and it wants you to pay for the full experience. So you’ll see some juicy templates and icons locked up behind that tempting “Pro” upgrade.
And then there’s the issue of originality. Canva’s templates are everywhere. Once I start using it, I recognize them all over the place. If I don’t get creative with my edits, my work could end up looking a bit cookie-cutter. That said, a little effort can go a long way to make your design stand out. But it’s something to keep in mind if I want my work to feel truly unique.

THE BEST graphic design platform
I use Canva to design social media posts, flyers, brochures, memes, business cards, etc. on the daily! I have even got my designs printed through Canva which have turned out fantastic!
Pros
I absolutely LOVE Canva. It by far the most used software I have.
I enjoy
- the drag and drop functionality (I used to use Photoshop which was more difficult
- the templates
- the AI features like the AI writing feature
- the automated background remover and enhance features
- the ability to easily change my logo to any color (this is so hard to do in Photoshop)
- the ability to share and edit other teammate's designs
- easy to use layouts for brochures, business cards, flyers etc.
Cons
I wish there was an option to change the export resolution but other than that Canva is amazing!

Easy to use and create amazing marketing for your business.
Very positive. Upgrading to Pro was a no-brainer. I'm a customer for life!
Pros
Ease of use. The interface is user-friendly, there are tons of stock photos, something for every need. The templates are beautiful and I can always find something to fit my style and branding. I can upload my own images and add Canva elements to enhance the images. I can create reels, gifs, and mp4's. Canva has pre-loaded image dimensions, so I can easily resize my projects without having to start from scratch.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is how easy it is to spend hours exploring and creating images, lol! I'm not really sure that's a negative.
I personally need to make better use of the folders for organization.

Canva, Perfect for Beginners and Professionals
As a genealogist and small business owner specializing in family history templates, Canva has been invaluable for creating polished, professional designs with ease. The platform’s intuitive interface allows me to focus on crafting beautiful layouts and organizing complex family history data without a steep learning curve, which saves me time. For someone who works with a range of customers—many of whom are new to design themselves—Canva’s ease of use and accessibility have been perfect for client collaboration.
Pros
Canva has transformed how I create and manage design projects, from family history book templates to social media graphics. It's incredibly user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners and experienced designers. The drag-and-drop interface, extensive template library, and access to free (and premium) design elements mean I can easily create professional-quality designs without needing advanced design software.
One of Canva’s standout features is its collaborative nature. Being able to share projects and work on designs with clients and colleagues in real time has been a huge asset, especially when making quick edits or receiving feedback. The export options are versatile, allowing for high-quality downloads across various formats, which has been perfect for digital and print projects.
Cons
A couple of areas for improvement would be the file organization within folders, as managing many designs can become overwhelming, and sometimes the platform can be a bit slow with larger projects, I don't care for how you have to click to edit now, However, the pros far outweigh these minor inconveniences. Canva is essential in my business, whether I'm creating detailed genealogy pages or promotional content. I recommend Canva for anyone looking to streamline their design workflow!

Canva: Always changing, always growing with you!
It is seamless and always growing. I love it!!
Pros
I love how easy Canva is to use and the various integrations available. I like that it is easy enough for my teens to use, but I can make really unique designs for my company to use in marketing. It is easy to share ideas and collaborate. I particularly use the brand management for our Golden Tax Relief Team
Cons
I would like more options for video. I would like to see more options like Favicons and smaller pixel images.

I haven't looked back!
Canva is always going to be my go-to for design.
Pros
Usage for layout and features seems similar across the whole platform. Layers and the 'click and move/resize' method makes everything very accessible, and once the basics have been mastered users can edit in a more precise way using more specific tools.
Cons
Too many apps have been introduced - it's hard to find what you need sometimes.

Fantastic Tool for Quick Edits and Creative Projects
Overall, Canva is a fantastic tool for anyone who needs quick, high-quality designs or video edits. The templates are extensive and the platform is user-friendly, making it great for both casual and professional projects. It’s become a go-to tool for me in both personal and academic settings. I highly recommend it!
Pros
use Canva daily to edit videos for my Instagram reels and create class assignments. One of the things I like most about Canva is its ease of use and wide variety of templates. It’s super convenient for video editing, and the templates for different projects (like the Journey Map template I recently used) make everything so much faster and easier to complete.
Cons
While Canva is excellent overall, I wish it had more advanced features, especially for video editing. For example, I couldn’t find a typewriter effect for text, which would be useful. Also, when it comes to highlighting text, Canva’s options feel more limited compared to other platforms like PicsArt or MS, which offer more variety in text effects and highlights.

Canva review
The experience has been good overall. The video editing tools need some improvement.
Pros
One, it is user friendly - I do not struggle to use it. Two, it has a very wide variety of templates, which are so usable and helpful. They are especially good for social media and for multimedia content creation.
Cons
I cannot upload long videos to edit. I would like to add a lot of videos, like you can do in Adobe Premier.

Years of continuous improvement.
Like I said I have been using it for years! Now, with AI-enhanced options it makes it so I don't need to use any workaround or additional software to edit an image. It's a one-stop shop.
Pros
While it is bet with the paid subscription I had been using this for years, probably for 10 years and I got by with the free version until this year when it made sense to access more materials. It is easy and fun to use. I have made everything from flyers advertising school courses, to company newsletters.
Cons
Organizing and sorting uploaded images is probably the most taxing.

One of my most used and trusted tools
Time saving, super friendly and helpful interface, huge money saver as you can create digital products by yourself instead of paying someone.
Pros
It allows me to create almost anything I need, despite the fact that I am not a professional designer. It's fabulously friendly, easy to use, the learning curve is very gentle. I love the newly integrated AI tools and the fact that I can bring digital assets that I created in other software and assemble a completely new design in Canva really quickly. It's a creative powerhouse that feels incredibly friendly and helpful. And while the paid version is the best, you can create practically any digital product you want just using the free version.
Cons
I did so many projects in it and it was(is!) so helpful and practical that I really can't fault it.

Canva's blend of ease of use, adaptability, and teamwork capabilities makes it a priceless...
The workflow is further streamlined by Canva's integrations with various programs and platforms, including as Dropbox, Google Drive, and social media sites, which facilitate the import and export of files as well as the sharing and immediate publication of designs. Time is saved and the possibility of mistakes is decreased by this integration, which lessens the need to transition between several platforms and tools.
Pros
The thing that I value most about Canva as the Director of Brand Management is that it's so simple to use and accessible, allowing anyone on our team to produce designs of a high caliber without needing too much graphic design knowledge. It's easy for anyone to create visually attractive content fast with Canva's user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, whether they're creating presentations, social media graphics, internal papers, or marketing collateral. We can maintain consistent branding across all our visual communications and greatly increase our team's productivity because to its user-friendliness.
Cons
Canva's limited customization and sophisticated design skills in comparison to more professional graphic design software are my main concerns as the Director of Brand Management.

My Take on Canva
My experience with Canva is very positive. I love everything about it, is very affordable and well worth every dime.
Pros
There are several things I like about Canva. I have been using the software for many years, It has allowed me to create videos, images, adverts, gifts, business cards, flyers, postcards, t-shirts, etc. I love the ease of use and it is so wonderful how they are constantly adding more and more new updates and actively growing as a platform. They also provide a personal touch by having launch events, contests, and recognize their most active creators. I can safely say that Canva is on my short list of my favorite software.
Cons
This can be considered a good problem to have, but, Canva has added so many new apps and features over the last couple years, I find it hard to keep up with all of it and can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to get started learning new things to do when it comes to my designs. Also, the app can sometimes be a little clunky.
