Todoist is a powerful, intuitive to-do list application with many features & only a few flaws

Overall, Todoist has been a life-saver, allowing me to simplify my work life and organize the numerous projects & tasks I have to juggle. While it can be complicated at times and lacks certain features I would love to see, it is the best project management app I've ever used, and I would sorely miss it if Todoist were to be shut down.

Pros

Todoist has simplified my work life - helping to organize all my tasks, projects, and meetings in a simple way that ensures no project is missed. While there is a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to best utilize & organize the platform, the simplicity of it's core features makes it easy for anyone to pick up and use. You are able to hop on their website or app and add a task in an instant; with the ability to schedule the due date, priority, and set it up in a specific project very quickly using their shortcuts. With their team collaboration features, you are also able to assign specific tasks to specific people, allowing for quick and ease collaboration and project management. Plus, Todoist offers numerous templates that help facilitate setup, and a very simple "Karma" rewards system that helps encourage use (and helps make you feel accomplished).

Cons

Todoist offers numerous systems, but unfortunately it can be a bit of a learning curve to learn all the shortcuts (especially when they change periodically) and an effective way to organize the projects & tags. As well, while they offer simple ways to import their templates and allow you to export templates of your own, they don't offer a simple cloud storage solution for those templates - so to load an exported template, you need to download it, keep it, and reupload it when needed. Lastly, they lack the ability to setup certain types of tasks; such as a task with subtasks that all repeat weekly - currently you can schedule them all to happen each week, but the subtasks end up getting listed as full tasks on the due date.

Get organized with Todoist

I need a simple software that i can relied on to managing my days, and Todoist is the best option for that objective. It can be connected or integrated with Google Assistant which will remind me of my event on my calendar with it voice.

Pros

The best thing that i really like is it can be access from various device and no need to install the software into the device. I use it as my organizer to schedule, remind and organized all my daily task and to-do list, either for my work task or for my personal task. It is not packed with feature like other project management software, but still can get the work done.

Cons

It lacked of feature that i need and sometimes it is quite frustrating and i have to using other software to get it done. Other than that, It is very helpful in reminding and scheduling my day and not too expensive to subscribing its premium plan.

Todolist Review

One of the primary problems Todoist solves is the overwhelming feeling of having too many tasks and not knowing where to start. With Todoist, users can break down their tasks into smaller, manageable chunks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance. This allows them to focus on the most important tasks and avoid getting bogged down by the smaller, less pressing ones.Another problem Todoist solves is the lack of visibility into team progress. With Todoist, users can share projects and tasks with team members and see who is responsible for what. This makes it easier to hold team members accountable and ensures that everyone is working together towards a common goal. Todoist also offers a range of collaboration features, such as comments and file attachments, which make it easier for team members to communicate and share information.

Pros

Todoist has a clean and intuitive interface that makes it simple for users to create tasks, prioritize them, and track their progress. This means that we can start using Todoist without any prior training or technical knowledge, making it accessible to everyone. Secondly, Todoist allows users to organize their tasks into projects and sub-projects, which makes it easy to manage large and complex tasks lists. This helps users to focus on the most important tasks, prioritize their workload, and avoid feeling overwhelmed by a long list of tasks.Another great aspect of Todoist is its collaboration features. Users can share projects with team members, assign tasks to each other, and add comments and attachments to tasks. This makes it easy for teams to work together on projects, delegate tasks, and stay updated on progress. Todoist also integrates with a wide range of other tools, including Google Drive, Slack, Zapier, and many others. This makes it easy to integrate Todoist into an existing workflow, and to automate certain tasks, such as creating tasks from emails or adding tasks to a project automatically when a deadline is approaching.

Cons

One of the limitations of Todoist is its lack of advanced project management features. Todoist is primarily designed as a task management tool, and while it has some basic collaboration features, it is not a full-fledged project management tool. For example, Todoist does not have a Gantt chart or a resource allocation system, which can make it difficult for teams to manage large and complex projects. In addition, Todoist does not have a built-in time tracking system, which can be a problem for teams who need to track their time and bill clients for their work.

Productivity and organization in your tasks

Todoist helps me synchronize all my tasks, no matter what device I'm using and best of all, it's in real time. Todoist also allows us to add notes, images, even a spreadsheet and PDF documents, Todoist allows us to search tasks by keywords, has templates for projects, makes backup copies and above all helps your work productivity.

Pros

I like Todoist because it allows me to work and organize my day to day, with this software I can have control of my things, giving me the opportunity to do my tasks and projects that have more priority for me at work, with Todoist I can make my tasks larger in small tasks with the option of subtasks likewise I can do the same with the projects, in this way I can make my work less complex to elaborate, in addition to that I can set a due date to deliver a project so I do not delay in a task or project.

Cons

Todoist has its flaws; for example, I don't like how I frequently get notifications about repeating tasks; this isn't a constant problem, but it is annoying because it disrupts my flow of work. The Windows app and the mobile app both suffer from the same bug, making synchronization difficult and time-consuming.The paid version doesn't seem to offer much more than the free one does, as the only differences I can see are minor tweaks like the addition of Reminders and roles.

A Miraculous Task Management Tool: My Todoist Review

I've had a great experience with Todoist and highly recommend it for anyone looking for an effective task management tool. It's incredibly intuitive and easy to use and the syncing across multiple devices is incredibly helpful.

Pros

Todoist is a fantastic task management tool that helps me to stay on top of my various tasks and projects. The intuitive UI is easy to use and the cross-platform compatibility gives me the freedom to access my tasks from anywhere.

Cons

The biggest downside to Todoist is that it lacks some advanced features that I need for more complex projects. Additionally, the free plan has a rather limited feature set and may not be enough for some users.
