With some basic training of users, maintenance is fairly easy. I also like that there is basically a "splash page" from which I can quickly go back and forth from our various Catapult platform products. > > **Cons**: Heavy reliance on pre-done templates and layouts. Years ago when I worked in Dreamweaver I found there to be a really good balance there of greater flexibility in my editing that I get often frustrated with using Catapult CMS. > > The biggest plus to our work with Catapult has been the great customer service and ability to work with the developers. At one point when it was described to me the 58 step process (no joke - I saw the list) of publishing our monthly school board meetings, I analyzed where the bulk of those steps occurred and worked with a company developer to show him the problem and my suggested solution. It has a lot of clutter on the home page and not many options to remove or re-arrange how you want things to look. If you upload documents/images to one page, it does not carry over to other pages so you need to re-upload a lot of content. There is no options to create re-directs or shorten URLs. If you publish to preview only, the page publishes overnight so very difficult to work on pages and put them into the review. > > Overall it has been good.
