Very Legacy Software
Over all I regret purchasing SEE Electrical. I should have gone with ElecWorks, or Solidworks Electrical.
Pros
It doesn't crash every hour like Radica Electra, only once a week.
Cons
-Lack of basic features like wire numbers based on cells (501.1 501.2) etc, and Wire numbers with alphabetical postfixes. (P24.A, P24.B) We have resort to doing all our wire numbering by hand.
-Very antiquated UI, many basic and common operations take a lot more steps and menus then would be necessary in a modern UI.
-The Product/Type Database manager UI is very cumbersome and inefficient.
-No editing of Multiple Types simulations.
-Search is slow
-Adding and Editing channels, Cable Wire, Pins, etc is very inefficient
-No drag and drop or copy paste
-Must go through several layers of windows to get to things.
-It can become very laggy where you must wait 2 or 3 seconds in between each click of the mouse.
-There are no new major features being added to the base software, they release minor tweak and improvements every few years. This update interval does not at all justify the license maintenance cost.
-They do release official Add-Ons periodically, but they are very poorly integrated into the base software and seem more like 3rd Party utilizes than actual official features.
-It lacks Plugin/Add-on API access to most of the features of the software.
-I would like to design my own new Type Manager UI, but with out API access to the Types Database through the software there is no way to integrated it.

Donc nous avaons payé au total 17000 €Ht POUR UN LOGICIEL QUI NE FONCTIONNE PAS;

Not a bad software but there are better ones out there!
There are better soft wares out there than this, so I would not recommend this to a friend.
Pros
1) I like the features like ability to create one line diagrams, calculations, CAD tools and drag and drop functionality.
2) There is a lot of scope for advanced works like using PLC tools, electrical parts, capability to use a design over again.
3) You do not have to worry about the software crashing if you are working on something important.
Cons
1) I had a bad experience with the customer support, it is very hard to get a hold of their customer support and when you do, they are not very helpful.
2) I stopped using the software after a bit as I liked SolidWorks Electrical better tan this.
