Pros
My favorite features are the texting, voicemail transcription and the fact that the app doesn't log out randomly. I do like that the caller id will show me that it is a call from Nextiva so I know its a business call and not a personal call.

Great Cost Effective Option
Great! we used Nextiva for a long time, they have a great platform, I feel like with some updates, and good marketing, they could double their size.
Pros
Nextiva was a cost effective way to provide phones to several employees. With the help of our IT Team, we also were able to get all our phone calls to record.
Cons
Lack of training. We didn't get any training on how to use the phone system.
Nextiva depends on the internet., so when internet is down, so are the phones.

Nextiva VoiP Service
Overall we have had a positive experience with Nextiva. The support staff assigned to our Agency has always been very helpful and quick to respond to our issues. We have not experienced many issues with the phones but the app could use some attention.
Pros
Set up is very easy. The online Administrator Portal is very user-friendly and allows us to maintain our phone schedules as we need to, and the User Management function allows us to make changes quickly as they occur.
Cons
The Nextiva App needs more attention as we experience issues with it frequently. It's a wonderful feature when it is working properly but we see a lot of staff opting to not use it due to the issues experienced.

Amazing Product
Overall our experience with Nextiva has been great.
Pros
What really makes any company is customer service and support. If we can't figure something out or are having issues their support team is always very quick to fix the issue and always have a good attitude.
Cons
Because we use the call center and call recording functionality some of the sites are hard to get to. Especially being a HIPAA secure account.

Very solid phone system
Very pleased! I came back to Nextiva recently and I am not upset with my move. It is a chore switching phone systems, but with all the changes Nextiva has made recently I do not see myself switching to another provider as long as the reliability stays like it is. Thank you Nextiva!
Pros
Nextiva has listened to their customer base over the years and fixed a lot of shortcomings. It is nice to see things being improved and Nextiva is now much more than just a phone system.
Cons
The support channels could be a little quicker on response time, but with the new Partner Support options, this is getting a lot better from a partner perspective.

Nextiva Desktop/Mobile App Review
Overall, my experience with Nextiva has been great. I do not plan on cancelling the use of the Nextiva system for a long time. Thankful for how easy they make it to be able to contact my customers.
Pros
Nextiva is a great service for my company. We use it daily. From text messages, calls, and voicemails it is an amazing service. The thing I like most about Nextiva is how easy it is to use. When it comes to texting customers and making contacts, or answering calls from outside the office, Nextiva has us covered.
Cons
I wouldn't say there's anything that bad about Nextiva. The only thing I have issues with sometimes is when I am texting a customer without saving their contact yet, when I save them as a contact it will remove all the previous chats and call log.

Nextiva is Awesome
Nextiva never lets you down. You can always count on the call flow coming in at the call center in a fair and orderly fashion. I love how you can go back to your calls and listen to them for reference. It is a great tool. It is an awesome feature! The calls come through very clear. The customer support is great, they are on top of it.
Pros
My favorite thing about Nextiva is "Nextiva on the go!" as I like to call it. You can use it remotely when you are not in the office, all you have to do is download the app and are able to answer your calls. They ease of transitioning calls from the office to your cell is great! It makes it very convenient! That is just o of many benefits to using Nextiva.

5* VOIP solution
As a daily user/admin, would highly recommend. As I said, support is always top notch, and for me the mobile app is excellent for anyone to get me directly anywhere.
Pros
Easy of setup, ability to have phones anywhere there are ethernet connections. Support is 5* and easy to reach
Cons
Would like a little more admin functionality such as blocking calls and not needing support for this.

Buyer beware!
This is from Nextiva in response to a customer: Here at Nextiva we pride ourselves on our honesty and Amazing Service, and we strive to deliver both on every customer interaction.
My experience with Nextiva is the company couldn't rent ethical standards, let alone own them. Now that I have performed research I should have done before choosing Nextiva, I find numerous complaints about Nextiva's deceptive business practice of having a customer sign a simple 2 page contract, while referring them to their 10 page online Terms & Conditions wherein they divulge the secret of their success: auto renewal.
Quite frankly, I'm shocked there hasn't been a class action suit against them.
Pros
After 3 years, the negatives so far outweighed any positives that I can't think of anything good to say about Nextiva or their service.
Cons
Their approach to business appears to be: lure the customer in, demand a 3-year contract, hide the part about auto renewal, provide just average level service, hire less than competent support staff to handle customer complaints, and hope the customer doesn't become aware of the auto renewal gimmick before the end of the contract term.

Excellent Solution for Call Center Needs
Pros
In our organization, we have been utilizing Nextiva Business Phone Service to address our call center needs, and it has been an outstanding solution. Coupled with the Unity Client platform, Nextiva provides a comprehensive system that allows me, as a supervisor, to have a firm grip on monitoring and supporting my agents during their shifts.
Cons
The technical capabilities and call quality of Nextiva are top-notch, leaving me completely satisfied with its performance. If I were to make a suggestion for improvement, I would say it would be great if Nextiva could provide more options for generating reports. While the current reporting options cover most of our requirements, there is certainly room for additional features in this area.

Happy customer
Really great experience! When I needed assistance with activating more lines for our desk phones I received exceptional support from the chat bot, to the person that the chat bot connected me to, and from the After Hours team. Even though my request was scheduled to be completed within 48hrs to 5 business days, I received immediate response the following day at 4 AM! The features were enabled and worked flawlessly.
Pros
I really like the ease of use and having the options for a desk phone, desktop app, and an iOS app.
Cons
Nothing major yet. The iOS app could be a little better with clearing missed calls and stopping the annoying pop-up that keeps asking me to enable cellular data when it is already enabled from my settings.

Reliable Service and Excellent Customer Service
To put it simply: Nextiva services allow our team to keep in touch with one another with minimal disruption. This is vital to the success of any growing operation and has, undoubtedly, lent greatly to our growth as an organization. Despite the concerns I've expressed, I find Nextiva to be a greatly reliable and extremely professional connected communications company, and I'm very thankful I've been able to rely on their services and support team so heavily in my years working with them.
Pros
Out of all of the third-parties our company works with, Nextiva's Support Team is by far the most reponsive, patient, and understanding group I've had the pleasure of working with. Their Support Team is well-versed, knowledgable, and flexible, and it seems my issues always get resolved the very first time I reach out to them for support.
Cons
While their Nextiva / NextOS Voice portal is certainly not the worst administrative interface I've worked in, I do find that it's a bit confusing attempting to locate where a phone number or extension is hiding: having to jump around between the 'auto attendant', 'call groups', 'call center locations', and 'users' and manually search through each section is a more time consuming process than I feel it needs to be.

Pros

Cons

My overall experience is excellent. Nextiva works 99% of the time and is very easy to setup. Our account manager is very responsive and customer support has resolved just about every issue in under 2 days.
Pros
Nextiva works very well for internal and external communication between our employees and customers.
It has a lot of functionality that is simple to setup.
Our account rep [sensitive content hidden] is awesome and works with us on everything!
Cons
The administrative management of the account could use some uplift in UI/UX. It's difficult to find more niche things such as a specific type of call log because it's buried under another tab that doesn't really make sense.

Dialing Up Success with Nextiva
I have been doing this for awhile as both a seller and a leader and use to wrestle with systems that sounded like [sensitive content hidden]'s teacher on a bad day. Calls dropped, customers got frustrated, and hitting our sales metrics felt like climbing Mount Everest in flip flops. Enter Nextiva! This amazing platform is as reliable as a Swiss watch and the call quality? Crystal clear!
My sellers can now connect with customers like they're chatting in person, and that makes all the difference. No dropped calls, no fuzzy connections, just smooth sailing.
Nextiva isn't just about clear calls. The features on this platform are like little productivity cheerleaders. We can track calls, analyze performance, and even set up call routing so the right seller gets the right lead. Since switching to Nextiva, our sales team has been on fire! Metrics are being smashed, customer satisfaction is soaring, and the team morale is high.
Nextiva has helped us create a winning environment where clear communication and powerful features translate into sales success.
Pros
Besides the clear calls and not having to worry about dropped calls (which is A+). The features on this platform are like little productivity cheerleaders. We can track calls, analyze performance, and even set up call routing so the right seller gets the right lead.
Cons

Nextiva is the best system around
Nextiva is an excellent telecommunications service. I have used a few, but Nextiva is the best.
Pros
Telephone service is great. The cost quite reasonable and the technical support fast and fabulous. I also use the e fax system which is excellent in every way, easy to use and quite comprehensive. Unlike other systems which have you email to a system - and deliver it to one fax number, Nextiva has a fax portal where you can send a fax to multiple fax numbers as well as sending the faxed documents to an email address. Cost, service and support are superior to all other systems I have tried.

Buyer Beware
0/10 when it comes to their customer service. Sketchy sales practices at best, account managers while nice tow the company line and will only offer solutions that cost you.
7/10 for the product/software--we are finding glitches within our call flows when working with tech support more often than not our call flows are interrupted due to internal updates on their side of things to the software causing our phone system to go down therefore costing us business.
Pros
With their software we were able to achieve our goals of routing calls for all 14 of our salons to one centralized location.
Cons
Their sales process is aggressive, and they try to make you move quick to sign. Read the fine print on their contracts. There is not an out if you are oversold licensing by their sales team. If you are oversold licenses by their sales team, they will try to ping you with an early removal fee. Upon seeing this we went rounds and rounds with account managers to get the extra licensing we were told we needed by the sales team removed. The process of removing the extra licensing took us from August 2023 to it finally happening in January of 2024, all the while we were being charged for those licenses. When we initially brought this to Nextiva's attention they told us that we were the ones that requested this. This wasn't true, we spoke with the sales team about our company needs/size/operations, and they told us that we needed for number of licenses. How could we know with no prior experience working with their company. We had to go through call after call/meeting after meeting/follow up email after follow up email to get some sort of resolution. In this time, we were passed through to two different account managers and had to start the process all over again. We were always waiting on "approval" from hire up. Be warned, their contracts have an auto renew clause hidden in the fine print which is a link at the bottom of the contracts not even fully explained in the contract unless you click the link.

Nextiva is a great product to help organize your phone tree system
Overall, Nextiva has been great. We had one issue in the past but it was resolved and the has never happened again. We still sometimes have issues with our auto attendant when we want to change it but overall, it's great.
Pros
I like how if you have any issues with the Nextiva system, you can call the help desk and get serviced fairly quickly. (some days are better than others)
Cons
This one is easy for me. What I like the least about Nextiva is a lot of times when we fix/add a change to our phone tree, it can mess up other aspects of our phone tree. What has worked in the past could break and no one understands why. This mainly happens when we try to adjust to auto attendant. We try not to change much.

Overall, very good. Our porting team was very good, but the process of porting is very difficult compared to porting into other systems.
Pros
Cost, ease of use, functionality is comparable to the best systems out there.
Cons
The Reporting features are limited. Basic call queuing license doesn't cover reporting?! Why have it if you can't see what's being routed where...

A Solid Choice You Won't Regret
Nextiva is a lot better in CS than our previous phone company. It is clear what we are paying for and the services we get. There is no confusion during the initial process, even though I am not a technical guy. I'm just a small business manager but I was able to set up the entire phone menu system myself. Great product.
Pros
Customer service is great. Ease of Use is there. Clarity in how to get to your goals for the phone system.
Cons
There is not much I don't like. Nothing so huge that it would need to be mentioned.

Nextiva makes it easy to manage seven business call flows.
Set up and deployment was very difficult at first. Had trouble porting numbers from our previous provider and provisioning our existing phones. Tech support is very knowledgeable and able to remote into my computer to assist with set up. Now that we are up and running I believe I will be very satisfied with the system.
Pros
The call flow is great. I run seven companies, fourteen phone numbers and seven different call flows. With our previous provider, I had to have seven separate accounts and logins. This made administrating the system tedious. Nextiva allows me to have one account where I can see all of my numbers, call flows, messages and user in one place. It makes things like administrating temporary alternate call routing or message changes very easy. I also like the ability to customize and tailor the system to our exact requirements.
Cons
We had quite a few issues with setup and deployment. Most of it had to do with some customization that we required. I spent about 11 hours over four days on the phone with tech support customizing caller ID, call flows, soft keys on our Ploycom phones, and provisioning of phones. The provisioning was the most troublesome. In fact, I still have one remote worker phone still not provisioned because of an incompatibility with an Xfinity Arris Gateway.

Very Happy to Find Nextiva
I found and set up the callflow for our business. Our remote team was ready to receive calls and make outgoing calls within the day.
Pros
No hardware required. Setup was easy. Upfront cost and per user cost is very reasonable. Constant improvements are made. Customer service is accessible and very helpful. User friendly platform to customize a callflow for your business.
Cons
There is a learning curve to set up the callflow. However, it's not something you need to modify often after it's done.

Recommend Nextiva
Pros
This system is easy to use, the connection is clear, has every feature that we need, is cost effective and customer support is excellent
Cons
There have been some price increases every year since we started with Nextiva, but it is still a very reasonable plan.

Great Partner
Exceptional. Their team always goes above and beyond for us and our franchisees.
Pros
Consistent service. I don't want to say "never," but service related issues on their end are very, very rare - almost unheard of. We use them in our corporate office, corporate franchises, and highly recommend them to franchisees. It's easy to forget they're there because it runs so smoothly.
Implementation is easy and thorough through their implementation team.
Customer service is top notch. The reps are knowledgeable and helpful.
Cons
Managing auto attendants for multiple locations is difficult through the web interface. There's not a single screen to upload a recording, listen to it and others, and apply the right one to the attendant.
For auto attendants that need different recordings for things like emergency closures or holidays, there is not a third option beyond Business Hours and After Hours that can be enabled quickly. The two have to be manually overwritten before and after.

It has been pretty seamless. The setup went smoothly and was pretty much taken care
Pros
The fact that it is an answer for so many of our communication needs: Phone, Fax, Crm and Texting.
Cons
The text was a little bit hard to get set up on my mobile phone.
