Great for Team Accessibility

Box is user-friendly which has allowed my team and I to overcome problems of needless time consumption. Research projects take up a lot of time because of the amount of data that needs to be uploaded and analyzed. However, Box has enabled my team to effectively work together and independently while maintaining the ethical guidelines of research.

Pros

As a tutor and a researcher, I love being able to upload videos of lesson plans and lectures so that my team and those I am working for are able to look back on what I said. Another thing I love about Box is how you can share multiple files with anyone you want and you are able to view who has downloaded something to maintain privacy and confidentiality. Box is especially useful for big groups of people. Everything is extremely accessible and easy to learn how to use. I recommend Box to my colleagues in research who want a safe way of maintaining confidentiality in research projects.

Cons

I do not have any problems with Box so far and I have been using Box for most of my college experience. I have used it for research, tutoring, and collaboration projects.

I can access my files anywhere anytime.

Box is a cloud storage and collaboration platform that offers a range of products for individuals and businesses. I found Box to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for storing, sharing and managing files online. One of the unique features is its robust security policy. It provides strong encryption and access control, ensuring that my files are secure and accessible only to authorized users. This gave me peace of mind, especially when dealing with important papers or confidential matters. The ability of the platform to unify is also impressive. With Box, I can easily share files with colleagues or clients, collaborate in real time, and track changes to documents. The ability to leave comments and comments has been especially useful for team cohesion and feedback.

Cons

Currently, Box offers folder level access, allowing users to control access at the folder level. However, some users find it useful to have the ability to set permissions at the individual file level. This will provide more granular control over file access and sharing, especially in situations where specific files in a folder require different permissions.

Customers not important to box

Discontinuing service. See above.

Pros

Unlimitedspace. With no extra charge. Multiple file types supported

Cons

We had requested flexibility on our licenses since our staff increases and reduces between 90-100 people.

Our admin accidentally added licenses before removing some leavers resulting in an accidental increase in the licenses.

Box would not reduce the number by 3 licenses even though this was a clear mistake.

They tried to make us pay for the remaining period of our 3 year contract. This resulted in a waste of several thousand dollars when we were in cost reduction mode.

Canceling. There are many equivalent services with better customer support and lower pricing.

A Comprehensive Cloud Storage Solution

Overall, I have had an excellent experience with Box. It is a great way to store my important documents and files securely and easily. The app allows me to access my files from anywhere and I haven't run into any major issues.

Pros

Box has been an incredible cloud storage solution for me. It is easy to use, secure and reliable. It allows me to store my important documents and files with ease. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to access my files from anywhere with the help of their app.

Cons

One of the biggest drawbacks to Box is its limited storage capacity. While it offers enough space to store a few documents, it is not suitable for storing large amounts of data. Also, its customer support could be improved.

Box user

I think the benefits organizations can realize from using Box include improved collaboration, increased productivity, enhanced data security, streamlined workflows, regulatory compliance, and the ability to work from anywhere. However, the specific benefits realized will depend on the organization's needs, the extent of Box's adoption, and how effectively it is integrated into existing business processes.

Pros

I think the integration of Box with existing business processes can vary depending on specific requirements and the complexity of the workflows. However, Box offers a wide range of integration options and provides developer tools and APIs to facilitate integration with other systems and applications. With proper planning and implementation, integrating Box with existing business processes can be relatively smooth. It's important to note that individual experiences with Box may vary, and it's always recommended to explore the product's features, interface, and integration options to assess their suitability for specific business needs.

Cons

I think it's important to note that these points are not universal experiences, and the usability and integration challenges may vary based on individual preferences and specific business needs. It's always recommended to evaluate the product thoroughly and consider conducting a trial or seeking demonstrations to assess how well Box aligns with your specific requirements.
