> NetCrunch is an on-premise network monitoring, alerting, and reporting solution suitable for businesses of all sizes across various industry sectors. The solution helps businesses remotely visualize their system performance and monitors network services, bandwidth utilization, switches, routers, and traffic flow. &#10;&#10;&#10;NetCrunch automatically gathers every network device’s information and generates layer 1 and layer 2 maps, displaying the connection between various devices connected to the main network. The flow server tool helps collect traffic data from switches and routers to analyze the overall network traffic structure. NetCrunch tracks internal and external events and automatically, creates alert reports for incidents occurring within the network. For automatic remediation, NetCrunch can attempt to resolve the issues automatically by executing remote control action. Users can be notified via SMS, desktop notification, and email when an event occurs. It can also share data with other systems such as JIRA, PagerDuty, various help desks, collaboration systems such as slack or Trello, and messengers such as MS teams. &#10;&#10;Support is provided via an online Knowledge Base and extensive documentation and via direct email.

> **Pros**: NetCrunch can monitor your entire IT environment, be it Windows, Linux, networking gear or something else. It comes with an enormous amount of monitoring packs, that are either detected automatically or that you can add manually to the nodes you monitor.  These packs come with default triggers, based on the vendor documentation or best practices. This makes it very easy to get your monitoring and alerting up and running in a very short time.&#13;&#10;Our license is based on the number of nodes, regardless of what you monitor on those nodes. That gives an advantage compared to the competition, although I have heard that the licensing might change in the future.&#13;&#10;We had a number of small issues or monitoring questions. Support responds in the same day and is very professional and skilled. &#13;&#10;NetCrunch can integrate with a number of other systems out of the box. It can also connect to IFTTT so we deliver alerts to a Telegram channel, no need for SMS. &#13;&#10;The interface is easy to understand and customize.

> **Cons**: There are not much things that I don't like, to be honest. Maybe the fact that there is a web interface, but for some more advanced changes you need the dedicated Windows client. But that is not an enormous drawback, because this client also notifies you of any alerts that are occurring.
