CompanyCam is my work memory and has increased communication within the office. I love it.
The benefits of using CompanyCam would be increased communication in the office and with customers, increased productivity because all progress is being photographed and time tracked, better "photographic" memory of past problems at projects, and the ability to prove what the project looked like before we started working. CompanyCam has been an invaluable resource with employee accountability. Our employees take photos throughout the day so my manager can better understand the effectively or lack their of on the job. We are able to communicate better with homeowners with photos which allows us to clarify problem areas on the projects and explain those easier. Finally CompanyCam gives us absolute proof of issues that were on the project before we got there. For example we saved money this year by showing a homeowner that the dent in their gutter was there before we roofed their house, same story with cracks in driveways, and deteriorated siding. CompanyCam makes it easy for my guys in the field to take the photos I have wanted them to take for years. Now we actually do get the photos and save them correctly.
Pros
The best part of the software is the ability to see what all of my guys are up to out in the field and communicate with photos. I have had hundreds of conversations with employees in the field who are able to explain their problems to me with photos so that I know we are on the same page. Plus I can see the progress of the job throughout the day to make sure everyone is on task.
Cons
Every once in a while we would have duplicate addresses which was frustrating. I think this has been corrected.

Best App Ever
The cloud based design frees up your phone. I have maxed out my picture storage multiple times and trying to organize them after the fact was terrible. Company Cam has that all taken care of. The Geo Location feature automatically knows if your on a current job and when the app is opened that's the suggested job.
Pros
Company Cam offers a trial use and initially I was not able to take full advantage of the trial but after contacting them they extended the trial. This is one of the most innovative documenting apps I've every used in construction. It is cloud based with one simple monthly fee that is well worth the cost. Just the organization of the pictures per job is worth the cost not to mention the countless other features.
Cons
After using this software for almost a year now I don't think there is anything I don't like about the App. There are some modifications that I might suggest but these are just personal preferences.

Customer Service Non Existent
When I first launched with the product they onboarded me and did one on one training. idk if they have been recently acquired but their customer service management team is pathetic. Very unprofessional.

CompanyCam: An easy way to simplify what you already do
We use CompanyCam to upload and share photos and documents of our roofing projects in real time. This allows us to coordinate field work with the office without the need for frequent email chains and in-person meetings.
Pros
CompanyCam is designed with user-friendliness in mind. This makes it extremely easy to pick up and use, with minimal training. Most of its features work in an intuitive way and make it easy to streamline the administrative side of the process. It is relatively simple, with excellent functionality and usability that makes it essential to project administration.
Cons
In the capacity that I use it, this is a web-based software. I generally prefer to use dedicated apps rather than a browser-based program, however this also makes it easily accessible from any device, without having to install it. The tagging feature is a bit unintuitive to work with, and I repeatedly find myself editing a job's tags rather than searching for tagged jobs.

I do not really have any Cons with this app. Occasionally you get the update bugs but that is pretty normal with most apps. Everything functions pretty well daily.

Awesome tool
The guys in the field have a tool now that they can use to take pictures, and not have all of the pictures stored on their phone. They take a lot more pictures now, which don't have to be shared another (more difficult) way, and in real time! We had a major job with over 400 photos which we were able to just click a link and share with the owner who needed documentation of the repairs we had to do on their roof.

All our job pictures are in ONE place now, no more texting, emailing, downloading pictures for jobs.

Honestly I'm sitting here thinking and right now I cannot think of one thing I do not like about it.

A great option would be that we could video record events at work and then review them at compoanie meetings. Sometimes a picyure doesn't quite explain what is going on on a job site, you would be able to see more of the action.

The software itself is useful. A little hard to navigate until you get the hang of it, but then it’s smooth sailing.
Cons
I stopped using the service and inquired about having my account closed so I didn’t continue to get charged. After talking to 10 people over 12 months, I am STILL being charged. It might not be a lot, but it does add up, and I don’t need to be paying for a service that I’m not using.

Our reps really benefit from this as well as the client. This way, we are able to explain better to a client who may not be able to get on their roof to see an issue. We bring it to them so they are able to get a good understating of what is going on.

We Love Company Cam!
Overall we have gone back and forth deciding if this is the best program for us. We went through a period where our new CRM offered a very very similar feature. We tried it for a little over a month and reconvened to decide if we should use the feature that we are already getting included in a package we are paying for, or continue to pay for this third party program (company cam!). In the end, it was unanimous, nothing compares to the ease and functionality of Company Cam!

We really do love company cam. There have been times when we are at a project far outside the perimeter of Atlanta and our service is not great. In those times, sometimes pictures won't load, or we can't share our link with homeowners during our mid-morning check in. It seems unlikely that has something to do with company cam. Ultimately, that is a phone service issue!

A Great Integration with your CRM for Contractors in any field!

It duplicates addresses when you go to the address more than once. The sales/auditor has to notice that the address is duplicated, which doesn't always happen...and delete one, or sometimes 2 of them. I wish there was a way for the system to recognize the duplication and not allow the 2nd or 3rd record to be made without some sort of distinguishing name or notation.The only other item that needs work is collaborators. It works to add a collaborator via email, but sending it via text almost always leads to issues. If this were fixed the technology is excellent

Company Cam to the rescue!
My over all experience with company can has been wonderful! I have been using it daily for a bit over a year now, and it has been CRUCIAL to my day to day work. This program integrates seamlessly with BUILDER PRIME, making it so easy to create, document, quote, and build new jobs! This program also allows my installers to see previous jobs when they may need to touch something up and want a visual comparison. Thanks company cam!!!!

My favorite things about company cam are the Al’s features allowing me to enter a neighborhood and confidently know who I may have already spoken with in the past. It is a very useful feature when building value with the customer. Being able to pull up pictures of the customers neighbors job for reinforcement of why they should choose me, as clearly those around them have!

Really I don’t have any real cons. Occasionally the gps software is off by a few feet but they get around that by allowing you to type in the address. I do with the map feature was available without having to click “add new project.”

Best way to describe a jobsite
Best tool for field users to communicate with office. We use it for CYA, status updates, arrival/departure times, if it has to do with the field talking to the office this is what we use.
Pros
Super easy to deploy, everyone can use it without much training. Allows us to document all the steps of the project and not have to explain things, rather look at the picture
Cons
Documents are a seperate section and not well integrated into the stream of pictures (should allow conversion of document into picture to use like any other picture). No email notification function. Ocasional connectivity problems without internet to pull up accounts. Would love for them to add a timeclock (already have the gps and job information to avoid another app).Checklists with email notifications to other users would be a great addition as well.Hopefully these are in their roadmap.

Company Cam is a must have!!
Company Cam has been a lifesaver for us! We used to store all of our customer's jobsite photos in files on our company server and this took up so much space!!! The computers ran slow and it was just a mess. Now that we have Company Cam any of our employees can log in and upload photos to a customer file via PC or their smartphones. It's super fast and user friendly. We can make different projects on Company Cam for a customer so that their pre, during and post photos are all separated. We can make photo reports of the pictures we take instantly which is also very important. Company Cam is worth EVERY PENNY.

My experience has been phenomenal with CompanyCam, they have top-tier, customer service, and their time to respond is second to none.

CompanyCam makes the overall customer experience so much better and workflow smoother!
A large benefit to CompanyCam is having all of our jobs, photos and notes in one place. Everyone in the company can access the information and makes notes so we are all on the same page. If I miss something during my initial inspection, having these photos to turn to really helps minimize any mistakes on my end. Pictures are worth 1,000 words and that's so true so when we are about to start and finish a project in a customers home.

I love having all of the photos of each job at my fingertips. I show these pictures to my customers and they are impressed. I review each job with my install manager and our installs go so much smoother. Having before and after photos really sets us apart from the competition and we can show how great our quality of work is. Must have tool.
Cons
I don't have any issues with CompanyCam. At times I have to wait for photos to load, but that is normal with any online photo storage software. I don't know what I would do to make the application any better. There are updates from time to time that keep enhancing the experience.

Massive increase in overall efficiency. Information is power in the HVAC industry and the information that is immediately sent back to managers from technicians in the field is invaluable. It is quick and easy to use, and quick and easy to sort and organize data.
Pros
Quick photo option and the reports. I put together a report for every job that I sell. It used to take me 15 minutes - upload photos, organize them, print them, label them. Now it takes less than two minutes. This makes a huge difference when I am running up to 6-8 sales calls a day from April to October in a very busy seasonal business.
Cons
System needs to work better when there is limited cell service. In my opinion, the app should be able to operate without any Wifi or cellular signal, uploading and updating the information once a signal is restored.

Seems to integrate well with some apps like Sumo Quote for example. Some file viewing is not always user friendly becuase you can rotate the file but not on a page by page basis.

Horrible customer service

The features were exactly what we were looking for. Over time the ridiculous amounts of updates that created more and more 'features' made the product less and less easy to use. What once took minutes has extended to 10 times that to create a report. Updates often caused outages where our data was unavailable. Please Please Please someone make a comparable product so I can get away from company cam.

Horrible customer service. When we had issues it was days before we received a response. our data was unavailable and when the udpates were complete we had to relearn the entire application.

Organizes Photos
It's helped us to organize our project photos. We don't need to spend a lot of time looking through our devices trying to find a specific photo because we're able to just upload them to CompanyCam and find them when searching for the specific project.

Tech Support Non-Existent
Ease of use and the ability to explain it to my students. I teach for multiple organizations and have been recommending the product, even including their salespeople in the class at times. Since Company Cam will not take the time to solve the problem or even make an attempt, I will be looking for other products to recommend. What a shame to have a good product with an owner who does not care about the end-user.

I can document jobs just using my phone. Our driver's post pictures of all materials delivered to the job. This tool is a valuable resource for documenting the time line of your jobs. A bit frusterating

Stores (most) pictures of projects indefinitely.
Cons
Doesn't work well with OS. I set up the project in my car, then I need to take a picture, or I'll need to set it up all over again. Then I click the screen off and put the phone in my pocket to greet the customer, etc. When I pull my phone out to take pictures, I then need to go through the process of selecting an existing project, take pictures here, etc, to begin taking pictures. Then, if I don't save the last picture, when I get to my next stop, the app will be frozen in camera mode for several minutes before I can set up the new project and take pictures.

Ease of use and intuitive. This is important with employee turnover. No need to hold lengthy training sessions. Gets information from the field to the office instantly. Great tool.

Can be a challenge when not in cell service or wifi. Several times users have taken pictures and they have not saved. I don't like the fact you have to "save" each picture after taking. I would prefer that to happen automatically. It would be helpful if the app would save the pics on the phone and automatically download them when cell service or wifi was restored.

Ease of getting an accurate roof measurement in a matter of minutes. Besides giving the amount of squares, it also figures rake edges, eaves, valley ridge and hip measurements etc.
Cons
Some locations are not always easy to see entire roof and get measurements because of trees and shadows. Also had trouble seeing a few roofs at all, but very few. Sometimes ground views are not available. When looking at overall views from S,N,E,W views, many times it is very difficult to locate exact house because so many in neighborhood look exactly the same.

I use Company Cam everyday for my work. It is intuative and easy to use.
Quick photo capturing, high quality photos, easy to share, and a product that I feel confident recommending.
Pros
I like that Company Cam allows for an almost instant connection to anyone connected to our account when we post a photo. If I take a photo, someone in Lincoln can see it almost immediately. I also enjoy their AR option which allows for measuring pitch and skylights.
Cons
I think that Company Cam is still improving and allowing for their platform to run smoother, but sometimes I feel that the software can be buggy and glitch out.

Very useful, especially when going back to projects that I didnt start but I will be finishing
Pros
Saves me from having to remember everything. Just take a picture and all the info is there whenever I need it. I can also look at anything the other users in my company post for reference or follow ups.
Cons
I would love to have video capabilities. My only complaint is the app is slow to refresh when trying to add photos or new jobs.

Great product
It ha been great and they put up webinars etc and it has been a blessing and a game changer.
Pros
The ability to take photos and save them on a cloud and to organize and make reports and syncs with my CRM. This has been great to track progress.
Cons
I liked the interface of the app before the change but just getting used to it. I need to utilize everything it could do.

Pros
It is easily shared within our company. Love the before and after pictures. Love the ease of sharing pictures with customers and suppliers.
Cons
The GPS location. When arriving on a job, the address doesn't always pull up. It will say it is 3 miles away.
