Search no longer! Resnexus is your next property management system!
The best working relationship I have ever had with another organization.
Pros
What can I not boast about when reviewing Resnexus. This company is amazing across the board from their easy to use hotel/property reservation software, to their outstanding customer service and willingness to help, to their website design department. I myself have worked years in the food and beverage/hospitality industry but never inside of a hotel. My father decided to purchase a small boutique historical hotel August of 2023 and told me to figure it out. Having zero experience working inside or running a hotel I of course had to teach myself multiple different aspects of the business. The previous [sensitive content hidden] had it for 30 years and so I inherited the company they used for their property management system, Resnexus. I mean for someone with no experience their software was super manageable and I had little to no issues picking it up. The layout of everything is great and the software itself you can just do about anything with. Marketing emails, anything and everything you want to do with rate management, any report in the world you want haha it will put out. We have now integrated our payments with Resnexus which makes things even better. Recently, Resnexus just finished doing my hotel a new website that turned out spectacular. Powerful SEO, design, functionality, everything is fantastic. I can't say enough about how superb this company has been for me. I work closely with a property management professional throughout the year that helps me put together monthly packages or discounted deals for guests that we can put onto the booking engine and/or do a mass email marketing campaign out to my clients. He's there to answer any question I have at any time and I do have more than a few throughout the year. My company has now incorporated Resnexus's travel protection program for my guests providing them with an option to purchase a plan that covers any last minute cancellations. The possibilities are just endless with this company and the customer service is top notch. There's no question that from the [sensitive content hidden] down to the staff that help run this company, there's nothing but quality when it comes Resnexus. Thank you guys for everything you've done for myself and my company. You've played a massive role in our 10% revenue increase this past year and just making things manageable for myself and my team here at Hotel Planter. If your reading this review in search of a product like this, seriously save yourself some time and take my word for it. You'll be glad that you did.

If there was one thing I would say that I wished was better about this company or certain aspects of it I suppose it would have to probably come down to the website and only that there are certain controls that I would like to have in the editing of my website that are not available to me but other than that. Also, I do understand that certain editing functionality is restricted for obvious reasons, people do often break things but I wish there was the option to have more control anyway.

May be great for hotels but not for RV parks and campgrounds
I spent a nightmare year with ResNexus before switching back to my previous reservation software. first the import of my previous and existing reservations was done incorrectly and even after 12 months they could not figure out how to fix it. They have no good way of charging guest extra fees like parking, late checkout etc., you have to enter these fees as a retail item which screws up your retail reporting. Cancelation fees have to be added annually. Canceling a reservation would require 4 different screens before complete. The grid takes three time longer to load than my previous software system. This, while a customer is standing in front of you or on the phone. Vehicle depictions for RVs are laughable and confusing to guests. It is not possible to move only a portion of the reservation to a new site. testing capabilities cost extra and there's no way to create canned outgoing messages that you use often. for these and many more reasons, we transitioned back to our previous software provider and never looked back.

Their website service is good with good support. The reservation software...not so much

Poor customer service, if you have a problem they'll "write a ticket" then forget about you

Customer service can't be beat!! Just need more functionalities.
Very positive. Customer service being a huge component, as discussed below. There are additional functionalities we would like have implemeneted in an expeditious manner, but I do have the confidence in my ResNexus Professional to advocate for our needs and also help me find workarounds and explain different processes and settings as needed. We plan on continuing with ResNexus, are excited about the new integrations and functionalities/improvements. This will go hand in hand with addressing our existing list of operational functionalities that we would like to see implemented sooner.

AMAZING customer service! This is courtest of [sensitive content hidden], who has made our experience so much smoother, efficient, and pleasurable. He is very attentive and on top of all of our concerns - no matter the scope - and has advocated to make improvements in the system as we have noticed a need for them.
There is any ease of use I appreciate and there are instructional guides, which prove helpful, although some are out of date or focus on the grid view too much (rather than calendar view).
I also appreciate the Academy every year, where I can get one-on-one time to work with my Red Carpet Professional, as well as learn about the new functionalities and how to better utilize the existing ones to improve our business operation).
Cons
There are limitations to the reports we would like to use and gain more in-depth, granial information from in an organized fashion. This would be very convenient for us and our marketer, who is trying to find ways for ResNexus to guide our marketing plans through detailed analytics. There is also still some confusion as to how to utilize the settings function, especially the ones related to room units/classes and rates. Better instruction pages and videos would be really helpful. Not just what each button means, but also why, when, and how they are to be utilized.
Each new functionality feels like it needs to be tested more for inefficiencies, usefulness, and hiccups. Yet it seems to take a long time in beta for the tech improvements we are requesting to be completed (even crucial ones to our operation).

Best PMS provider around!
We've used Resnexus for a little over a year at this point and couldn't be happier. We came from a larger PMS provider that was based internationally and let me tell you, I'm SO glad we made the switch. Running a business like this and needing some serious help here and there, it means a world of difference to have wonderful partners at Resnexus that I can reach out to at any given time and get the help that I need. No long support queues or waiting for someone across the globe to respond to my email. I get the help that I need, when I need it and that means everything to me and my business.

Easy to use, lots of features, and a support team like non other.
Cons
Total pricing can get a little convoluted, once you've got your normal package, texting, keyless entry, marketing, etc, and they all get billed separately. But it's not that big of a deal.

We greatly disliked Lodgify for the sole reason that they didn't have a native option for texting, which is CRAZY. Texting guests is a key part of our business. It was also difficult trying to get the help that we needed from their support team. Go with ResNexus - you will not regret it!
My overall experience with ResNexus and their staff has been excellent, and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a hosting platform to check them out. They will not disappoint you!
Pros
I love so many things about ResNexus. One of them is the Direct Connect aspect and how they connect with a good variety of hosting platforms. They also keep adding to their list, which allows us to expand our reach, too. Another thing I love is the Travel Insurance that is offered. This is an important part of being able to offer our customers a quality experience, especially if something goes wrong, and they have to cancel last minute. I think it is important to note that ResNexus is continually bettering themselves in every aspect. They also keep us posted weekly/monthly on their upgrades and "fixes". They listen to us and what we want/need for us to do better as a business. They also have wonderful training sessions and videos.
Cons
The Remote Lock system is limited on the locks that they offer.

ResNexus made taking reservations way easier.
Pros
I loved the fact that we could accommodate our guests at all hours of the day and at their convenience. Most people would prefer to complete reservations online so we were happy to offer this service. It made things go much smoother and integrated well with our additional booking sites. I was so nervous to take the plunge for online booking and now I wished we would have done it years ago!

I honestly didn’t have any cons related to ResNexus. It worked really well for our business.

By far the best booking site I've found, and a keeper
Fantastic overall. This is my third booking site I've used, and by far the best. After two disappointing previous reservation systems with competitors, I'm very happy with ResNexus and plan to use them for the long term!
Pros
Customer service is very responsive, you get to speak to people who are familiar with your property and who have an ongoing relationship with you. I like how they integrate dogs into the reservation booking process. I love how they also link the booking site into your website. Overall, I really am very happy with ResNexus!
Cons
As they are an American based company, not all of their systems are available or configured to the international market - such as POS and displaying dates month/day/year instead of day/month/year. But hopefully they optimize for international properties as they expand more beyond the States.

Customer service is outstanding. The product is excellent and relatively easy to use.
Cons
Can't reach customer service on weekends in case of emergency though honestly this has not been a problem. I wish they had a help catalogue that could be searched by problem/issue that would provide written instructions for how to perform various functions

I really like Resnexus and wont be looking elsewhere for a very long time.
Pros
We have been using Reservation Nexus (Resnexus) for many years. They have been keeping up with the times and making changes to fit the market on a consistent basis. The web designer is easy to use and brings our website to the forefront of the competition. The have the best team for support. They work right with you to solve and issues and fix things asap.
Cons
The only thing I have been complaining all along about is the fact that new reservations do not 'pop up' for us to know there is a new reservation. This would be super helpful especially for last minute bookings. It is not feasible to keep checking emails or going into Resnexus Search to look to see if there is a last minute booking. Having a 'pop-up' letting you know this was a feature I had on another platform that I loved about it.

Great Option for Campgrounds and Continuing to Improve
Pros
Ease of use and stream-lined processes. It is easy to create a new reservation and has much fewer clicks in the process than other systems. It's also easy to understand the information presented and does not require a lot of clicks and digging to find information like payment history, guest's previous stays, communication, etc.
Cons
Waiting list needs improvement and automation so that we don't need to remember to check it. Website Builder & management needs improvement so that employees can learn to use it with ease. Option for guests to create an online account to manage their own reservation would be a plus. It is currently very tedious and difficult to create/adjust rates. Reminders feature could be improved by clearing reminders from everyone's profile once it is marked complete. I would like to be able to add sites to a group of blocks from the grid. Integration with discount memberships like Good Sam's to allow input of membership ID when making an online reservation to verify their membership status. Better promotion/discount code features.

ResNexus Makes Our Reservation Management Easy
I was not involved in the selection or setup of our ResNexus. However, I love working with the product. It has been easy to learn and use. Having a cloud-based product allows me, as Manager, to oversee daily operations and assist my staff in real time online.
Pros
I had to train myself. ResNexus was very easy to learn. There are many options to customize the system to meet your business needs.
Cons
I would like to have more options with the payment section in Group Reservations; the ability to add a payment that is not tied to a particular guest, to be held "on account", then applied at a later date.I would like to have more options in report generation; the ability to apply as many filters as we need to create a super customized report in various areas.

I like the staff, very helpful for the most part. I am a hands on kinda person. The booking engine folks are fabulous. the Website end...well not so much. They prefer just to email directions vs talk to folks on the phone.

I not that happy with the constant changes of how the calender looks. I am not happy at all with the number of scammers that are sending virus links as if it were a reservation.

ResNexus makes organization much easier to keep up with that hard copy only. It also allows connections for online booking.
Cons
Creating marketing materials using ResNexus is very difficult. Many of the functions do not come with instructions that allow you to see the use, and the amount of functions available for use are extremely limited. Our front desk staff are also unimpressed with the updated "Grid" screen and have been hesitant to switch over to it.

Happy Lodging Partner in Bar Harbor
I was anticipating buying a larger business than than I already had. Mine had five rooms and later added on a carriage house to rent. We were looking at possibly buying 21 rooms on a much larger property in a much larger to us scale. I found out what reservation system the current owner was already using and so I decided to implement it at my smaller property so I could get used to it. My training with [sensitive content hidden] was absolutely amazing and her patience and kindness and everyone since her has all been just beautiful. I was really glad when we did get the property seven years ago that I was already trained and ready for the reservation system. All I have seen with it is improvements all along the way have shown encouraging growth. I have actually made strong suggestions that have been heard and have been implemented to at least my system to cause it to be more user friendly and efficient for me. I just recently changed payment processing system companies to RezNexus and I'm a "happy camper". It has been nice to speak with [sensitive content hidden] for evaluation times and to find out that we are up to speed and doing well. Thank you ResNexus for everything from eight years back to present to going forward.

Customer Care is the best. Agents are extreme;y helpful as well as polite.
Cons
Office Hours don't really match the industry served. We are 24/7 with being lodging owners, yet they are closed on weekends. even though there's an available emergency agent on call leaves one feeling a bit unsupported. Maybe rephrasing it to say 24/7 support or and not emergency number....?
With all of the increase they've gained in the 7 years I've been a customer, to actually have 24/7 support would be appreciated.
Anyway, if it's "on call" for Resnexus, but says 24/7 for us, that could leave a more positive supportive feeling than to say "emergency" number, we will return your call. Just a thought.

You couldn't pay me to leave ResNexus
They are always updating and adding new reports but they are always there to help with learning any new reports or services.
[sensitive content hidden] is probably the most patient people I have ever met. There is no such thing as a "dumb" question and no matter how many times I may ask the same question, he is always there to help.
Pros
They are always there to help me with any questions. Also, their reports cover everything a bank or bookkeeper would need to help me with my financials.
They seem to study the way you use their system and are always willing to suggest new services.
Cons
I have spent way too much time trying to come up with something. The only thing I can think of is that sometimes it's inconvenient that they are 3 hours behind me. But, with that being said, they always answer me quickly.

Best System for Hospitality
We have had so much success with ResNexus. The program is so easy to set up, use and help is a phone call away. We also have paired Remote Locks and Texting, which means we can text guests when room is ready, provide room/door code, and make their check-in painless.
Pros
ResNexus is very easy to set up and use. We have been using ResNexus for 3 years and it has been a breeze. Training is easy with the Youtube videos, and they are just a phone call away when we have questions. The monthly updates are always welcomed and appreciated.
Cons
The only concern I have is the Room/Suite status. We just need 3-4 basic: Ready, On Clean, Dirty, Out of Order. Not even sure what "On-Queue or Skipper" even mean.

ResNexus - like hiring a whole software and hotel management team
Hotel reservations have expenses - credit card fees, third-party commissions, occupancy taxes, and, of course, monthly reservation software costs. The valuable expertise that ResNexus provides us has enable us to have ten times the revenue we would have without them - way more than enough to cover the expenses. That is to say, in the end we do not consider ResNexus an expense, it helps us earn way more money than it costs. We consider them our partners and could not be happier with their services.
Pros
ResNexus is one of the most professional companies I have delt with in any field. Running a hotel reservation system is very complicated. The system must integrate hundreds of different third-party booking sites, credit card processing companies, tax collection, and the front desk. ResNexus has this figured out and I can't imagine running the hotel without them. Our dedicated representative is very responsive, helpful, and encouraging.
Cons
We literally have no complaints about ResNexus. We get contacted frequently by other companies and we tell them all the same: we are very happy with ResNexus.

Trust & Feature Rich
It's been spectacular. They do it all very well; functionality, features, & support and when there's room for improvement, they manage that well too.
Pros
I have full faith that whatever feature is technically possible to make the product more robust and capable, the ResNexus team will do it before anyone else. They seem to set the standard for the others to catchup to.
Cons
Only that the very valuable "Academy" is in winter in Utah. But I understand why.

Amazing Customer Service Above & Beyond

ResNexus has very nice, clean, easy to use features. I love using the marketing tool to create e-mails and newsletters. The financial reports and data are very useful. And most importantly, the customer service is above and beyond. Having our business coach, [sensitive content hidden] has been invaluable. He always goes above and beyond to help us, and really takes the time to understand our business. Due to this, he is able to offer us relevant advice & solutions. In our last meeting, [sensitive content hidden] was able to give us many suggestions to help us boost our reservation numbers.
Cons
One of the negatives that we have experienced involves recognizing returning guests who have formerly used OTA's. Unfortunately, this is typically because the phone number provided from the OTA is wrong [sensitive content hidden], which is not ResNexus' fault!

YAY Resnexus!
Shout out to [sensitive content hidden] He's been very helpful through the changes these last couple of years. When I came on board with this company, the company had worked with Resnexus for a few years, but the employees were not affluent in the system and they had personal workarounds that were not company goal oriented nor were they using the system to the full potential. [sensitive content hidden] and I were able to work together to get this system working appropriately for the company.
Pros
Resnexus chooses to evolve in ways that are beneficial to the end user and ultimately the end user's customer.
Cons
I can't send a refund to an updated card that the client wants on file. IF the client's card was cancelled and then they are needing a refund, I have to send them a check from the company through the mail.

I love the ease of use in booking a reservation for a guest! I also love the text alerts, as we have, on occasion, had guests book shortly before a stay (literally from our driveway!). The alert allowed us to be sure we were home when they arrived.

Our best decision
We did a lot of research prior to our decision and have been satisfied.

Still love them. I have no plans on switching to another company ever again. Resnexus is an ever-growing company that is staying well ahead the game of other competitors.

Best option for the features and price on the market today
Been almost 3+ years and we have loved the progress and the updates that this platform has implemented. Keep up the good work.
