Pros

Report functionality is quite good and turnaround time for updated reports was also very good. Gen Jnl posting is easy to use and quick.

Cons

It is sometimes a bit cumbersome when loading up external data and again, once loaded it is difficult to see the transactions to determine whether upload has worked OK.

Epicor manufacturing is a nice software to manage all the management data under one umbrella and get the detailed reports and act upon.

This software is expensive for the small companies and also sharing and multiple user are not so easy to add in this.

I have only used it for less than 6 months, still learning. It appears to be very robust with the ability to handle most types of transaction

It is not user friendly and at least with our companies set-up, data searches are very difficult to produce. There needs to be a lot of moving around in the software to complete a task

Functionality seemed to be what we wanted, sales gave us in depth presentations but skirted specific requirements.

Sales fabricates to get business. After months of reviews and discussions with these guys we signed on with a deposit. Within one week after being contacted by the training PM we were told functions we specifically needed are not available. Once we made sure that was the case we cancelled the order and demanded our deposit returned. After many calls and emails we are still trying to get resolution. Not a professional company that should not be trusted.

The product is solid, and support is excellent. We've had issues (you'll have issues with any ERP system), and the support team has been 100% successful in serving our needs.

It's buried a bit in old technology. The desktop application runs on .NET. Mobile computers and devices are supported but fairly limited.

The effort that Epicor went through to gain the sale of our company was tremendous. They jumped through hoops for us to prove to us that they were the best, and without a doubt, they did! Epicor's manufacturing ERP software is a holistic software to run your company in all aspects. Definitely would recommend to a colleague!

No tengo ningún Pro para este software o empresa. Tengan mucho cuidado si piensan implementar este software en su empresa. Soporte tecnico nunca brinda soluciones siempre se la pasan con FIX y estan a prueba y error. Siempre te mandan con sus parther y terminas pagando doble.

Si no requieres su soporte técnico te quieren cobrar los años que no requeriste el soporte , eso es un robo y abuso por parte de esta empresa.

Pros

Aunque parece un sistema completo por la cantidad de modulos, se requiere una inversion importante para poder adquirir modulos especificos. No recomendable.

Cons

Sistema demasiado complicado, no es intutivo y la informacion consultada se presenta desordenada, la documentación es insuficiente y en muchos casos nula. En dos ocasiones tuvimos problemas con el implementador ya que desconocen del sistema en el área de producción. El soporte es lento y en algunos de los casos inutil te canalizan con el implementador. El costo de la implementación es alto.

Tiene muy buenas características, su MRP suena bien, el costo comparado con los grandes también es razonable más si esperas crecimiento.

Es tu problema hacer que funcione. En nuestro caso que tenemos varios procesos productivos, el implementador que nos recomendaron, que se supone que sabría, no supo y cuando buscamos el respaldo de Epicor México no se logró nada, nos dejaron con el problema y la inversión botada. Nosotros tuvimos que seguir buscando opciones y por nuestro lado buscar resolver. Parece mentira que un software americano y con una empresa de ese tamaño se desentienda. Yo no se para otras industrias pero al menos para manufactura y con la estructura que tienen en México definitivamente es un error adquirirlo.

Varias cosas en contra. Ambiente financiero con pocas funcionalidades, no hace costeo a valores reales, maneja doble contabilidad y permite registros distintos en ambas contabilidades (susceptible de mal manejo), no tiene soporte localizado en el Perú, no permite reclasificaciones contables de documentos. En fin, innumerables limitaciones por superar. Pésima calidad por el precio que se paga.
