Opportunity management feeds resource demand back from the pipeline itself, with pipeline rollup forecasting, service forecasts by resource type and billing rate, and what-if scenario modeling. Billing and revenue recognition solve the billing-leakage and cycle-length problems: direct billing to clients or ERP systems, split billing across business units, and multi-currency invoicing reduce the manual invoice assembly that extends days outstanding. Embedded Cognos Analytics provides 100+ standard reports across every functional module, with predictive trend analysis available through Cognos Analytics 12, so services leaders get real-time financial visibility mid-month rather than a retrospective view after the books close. Project and program management solves the inconsistent-delivery problem with a configurable multi-level work breakdown structure, stage-gate workflows, risk and issue tracking, and unlimited project baselines with version control, plus bi-directional Microsoft Project integration that syncs roughly 40 fields throughout the project lifecycle. A Client Portal lets customers review status and collaborate directly with delivery teams. Getting started doesn't require custom development: ChangePoint adapts to a business's own model through roughly 300 configuration tables, and that configuration survives version upgrades rather than requiring re-implementation every release.
