Let's me know IMMEDIATELY if there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Double check on human error if a deposit or date was input incorrectly. 99.9% of the time it's a human error not a Rynoh error. > > **Cons**: Sometime if you have to make an adjustment, maybe because it's seldom we have to do, it takes me a while to figure out how to reverse an error, not a Rynoh error our mistake that needs to be corrected. > > The daily reporting when you get in first thing in the AM, to find out if you have any problems. Has brought to our attention that even though we did a STOP PAYMENT on a check with our bank, a "lost" check the seller tried to cash over a year after it was issued and they had received a replacement check. Didn't realize that our bank after 6 months the "stop" payment falls off\!\! Rynoh immediately picked up on this with a notification to us in the daily report. Our checks say "do not cash after 90 days" the bank that had cashed the check felt they didn't do anything wrong, the check was over 1 year old. If we didn't have Rynoh, we would probably be in litigation to recover over $220,000. ----- ### "Escrow Reconcilation made easy" — 5.0/5 > **Robin** | *22 March 2022* | Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I started using RynohLive when I first learned of it several years ago from FNTICO, my underwriting title company, for my escrow reconciliations and positive pay alternative. I close about 100 real estate transaction per month and RynohLive has made reconciling the escrow account a breeze\! Typically less than 10 minutes a day to reconcile or discover discrepancies to correct them before any financial loss is realized. > > **Cons**: It is a little struggle to coordinate my banks positive and RynohLive but once it is working together I can't live without it so don't give up. > > RynohLive has taken a typical all day, sometimes all weekend, job into less than 10 minutes a day\! My last underwriting audit was really quick and easy because I use RynohLive. My auditor didn't need me to email or upload a lot of things because they could just log in to RynohLive, with my permission of course, and see the escrow account and my files. We have had numerous checks being deposited getting stuck going through the scanner with another check and one of the deposits being missed. Also checks written from our account to Townships/company's that are deposited by the Township/company's into their account and using the same scan system we have seen that our account had been debited the customer's personal check rather that our own because the two checks were stuck together going through the scanner. In both cases this error would have been a substantial amount of money to "float" until caught or would have included additional penalties and interest if not paid in the time frame. In this day and age of electronic banking there is no way that you would catch these errors until your monthly reconciliation. I can tell you that it has made this process extremely smooth and almost effortless. I love that it keeps track of all of our uncashed checks and that we have the ability to set up alerts with specific timelines. That way we aren't letting anything that is unresolved go for a long period of time. The process is very simple, and the support staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. To be honest I was pleasantly surprised how they knew my software well enough to help troubleshoot a problem I was having internally. > > **Cons**: I don't necessarily believe this is a Con of the software because it is supposed to be precise and catch any errors.
