Human Resources is now efficient and company risk has been dramatically reduced with HR Partner
As a growing organization, we have gone from no official HR tracking to having HR Partner fully implemented and scalable across our organization. This is complete with 'signable' employee handbooks, employee records for payroll, electronics and equipment tracking, recruiting and on-boarding, etc., all in one space.
Implementing HR Partner has alleviated stress across management not only due to the ability to collate documents and time-off requests in one central location, but the ability to have checks and balances in place company-wide.
Pros
The overall ease of use, layout and functionality was my main attraction to HR Partner. The platform is intuitive, with a plethora of options and the ability to personalize features was wonderful. The support from the team and online tutorials only made the set up process even easier.
Cons
Nothing. Any time I had a question, the support team was readily available.

HR Partner for leave management
Overall this product does what it’s intended for. We’ve experienced 1 system glitch but other than that we’ve had to major issues.
Pros
We use this platform to manage leave and employee records. It’s fairly easy to navigate through both as an admin and as an employee.
Cons
It doesn’t calculate the leave entitlement automatically so you have to manually input this information. Also, the custom forms don’t also download correctly as a pdf.

Flexibility and customer service at a great price
The platform has been great for our startup, allowing us the flexibility we required from our early days to our considerable growth in our second year of operation. The support team is always very helpful, and we can't fault their customer service. While the platform may be missing some features compared to some of the big players in the Australian market, we felt this was reflected in their lower cost and flexible pricing plans.

This platform's cost is fantastic compared to some of its competitors, and it has allowed us the flexibility we need for our startup business.
Cons
The platform does require a lot of customisation of settings and self setup, but this is reflected in the low cost. However, the support team is always on hand to help and guide you through the process. There are several features that the platform is missing compared to its competitors but they have been developing some of these and we've seen some new features this year which have been great.

Highly recommended system
It's not like other systems that you need to write down or memorize lengthy codes to view/access different features of the employee data. It is very easy. Even I'm very new to it, I have found my way around.
On top of an excellent system, you have a team of professionals who are dedicated and that helps us with all of our queries/questions. 😊
Pros
I like a lot of things about HR Partner but I will list only two that we normally talk about in our office.
The thing I like the most about HR Partner is Recruitment. It's very easy to access for us (ADI admins) as well as user-friendly to applicants. When we posted a job vacancy, none of the interested candidate complained of any issues. It was fast to load, and they applied without technical difficulties.
Another thing I like the most is your team's customer service and the prompt responses to our requests regardless of the time differences. Thumbs up to your team.
Cons
I wouldn't say 'not liked' rather a recommendation for the future maybe.
I might be wrong but I think that there should be a history for all the employees. For example, last year someone occupied a different position, this year, he/she has a different position title. HR Partner only shows the current details. It should capture the previous history with the dates for the each of the actions done for all employees.

Exceptionally good for hiring
Pros
I use HR partner for its hiring tools.
I find the integrations with 3rd parties really useful for getting applications in - and the tooling that allows several staff members to vet these applications before they go through our hiring process is an excellent way of sifting through to find the best applicants.
The interview feedback process is very easy and great for subjectively reviewing candidates as I find time tends to distort the views of the interviewers compared to when the interview was done - this makes sure we progress the right candidates. Being able to login and use the hiring tools frequently allows us to understand how close we are to landing the perfect candidate.
Having used HR Partner for hiring candidates over the past 12 months it has been a great experience.
Cons
I think the user interface can be, at times, confusing and ill presented. Information isn't always where I would expect and its sometimes hard to differentiate between one section of the UI and another.

I really enjoy using HR Partner. I find inputting the data easy now I use it every day. I can create documents for our employees that ask for signatures or forms to be filled in. I like the fact I can keep a check on documents that the employees are filling in. There is a lot of information that can be gathered from the useful portal.
Pros
Filling in all the details of our employees and having them to hand very quickly.
I like the fact we can add notes about the employee. I like the file attachments so we can upload all the documents related to the employee.
Cons
Booking the holidays for our employees because it has a default that doesn't work for the hours we do so it makes it harder for the employee to understand what holidays they have left.

Checklists and e-signatures modules are used to provide policy and procedure information throughout our company since they enable explicit employee attestation. - A glimpse at the organizational chart - The capability for managers to keep track of leave balances, upcoming training requirements, and significant notes. - Including work reminders and training expiration dates, such as OH&S requirements
Cons
Yearly leave appears to be excessively muddled. Most other HRIS I've tested, the leave has been clear and very computerized though this needs a lot of manual mediation

Comprehensive HRMS Portal
HR Partner is an excellent HRMS system with all the necessary tools for managing employee databases, streamlining the hiring process, and onboarding employees. It offers a comprehensive suite of features, from expense claims to leave management. There is no doubt that HR Partner is an invaluable tool for any organization.
Pros
The importance of having a good HR tool for running a company cannot be overstated, which is why HR Partner was the perfect choice for us.HR Partner's user interface and organization are of the highest quality. Additionally , it is great to have the ability to electronically sign documents in the portal, as well as store records of documents and files.

HR Partner has been instrumental in our transition from paper-based to digital HR records. Seeking to professionalize our small business’ HR functions, HR Partner has enabled us to streamline, manage and bolster all facets of HR, from recruitment to administration to employee retention and beyond.
Cons
Despite its ease of use, the system is somewhat heavy on text. Moreover, if your team organization chart is more dynamic, you cannot assign more than one person to whom a team member reports.

HR Management Platform
Implementing HR Partner has been an easy process. This platform is ideal for small-large organsiation's. It is there to support HR in the employment lifecycle from recruitment to exiting.
Pros
HR Partner has helped Injury Matters streamline many of our processes and allowed us to keep all our HR records on one platform. It's extremely user friendly, and team members can access and update their information at any time, anywhere. It has significantly reduced administration time. The help desk was helpful not only in launching the platform in our organisation but also in the continued ongoing support.
Cons
The only con I would have is not having the option to have customisation done to suit our organisation's needs but so far have managed to put workarounds in place for these.

Great standard tool that is developing into more
Overall the product has been good. For what we need it is slightly lacking, but for the price we paid (one time fee through AppSumo) it's a tool we'll continue to grow into and grow with over the years.
Pros
I especially like the profiles & the ability to onboard. While there are some features lacking on the onboarding, it is still a very solid product that is improving it's ability to onboard new employees.
Cons
The reporting structure and recruitment were my least favorite pieces. Not only was there a lot of difficulties getting people assigned correctly (including separating the values of admin profiles vs employee profiles) but the recruiting integrations did not work well. We saw a significant (nearly 80% decrease) in postings made through HRPartner vs natively to Indeed.

As I am a new starter, so far my experience has been excellent.
Pros
The product is easy to use and understand. The support you received is excellent and if there is something they are not to sure about they will get back to you.
Cons
The system doesn't have the ability to work our accrual of hourly staff via the timecards. This is a huge asset as when it comes to those staff who work over their contracted hours it gives you a snap shot of how many holidays they have.
More reporting features ie reports that can show if someone's training is due.

Suits us perfectly
We all really enjoy it, Everyone can see when people are taking time off. Managers can take more control by knowing and approving the leave without no one getting lost in the loop and they can easily find HR forms or questions about employees are all written there for them to find themselves. It look a while to set up but it has helped me immensely take a lot off my plate and added the aspect of working from home a lot easier
Pros
I like that its all in one spot and I can be anywhere and can still check this, I do get a lot less questions as most of them can find answers to their questions by themselves instead of harassing me. The timeclock feature has been very handy for our casuals that work odd hours that way they can clock in and out where they are done. I also like the checklists so that I can create something once and then assign them to employees or managers and they know what they need to do for certain tasks written right there in front of them. Every time I had a question it always got answered pretty quickly so that I was able to figure it out and keep going with setting the program up
Cons
It's a bit to set up so you need the time, I was very time poor at the beginning but I knew this would help me once I had it set up it was just moving everything across the platform. Sometimes the leave accruals aren't always correct and I still have to do a bit of updating in Xero with leave. I would also say some of the subjects on the side can be a bit confusing - I do have to keep re teaching the managers where things are

After extensive research for a robust HR management tool, we decided to implement HR Partner within our organisation, and though we are still new in using the program, we can already see positive results.
What stands out about HR Partner is its user-friendly interface, which has made it easy for our HR team and employees to navigate through various modules without extensive training. The cloud-based system allows for remote access, which is a huge advantage for our team members who work from home or are on the go.
One of the key features we've come to rely on is the employee self-service portal. It has empowered our employees to take charge of their personal details, request time off, and access important documents without having to go through HR for every little thing. This has not only saved our HR team valuable time but also improved employee satisfaction.
Support from HR Partner has been exceptional. Whenever we have had questions or needed assistance, their team has been quick to respond and very helpful. A leap from the past

For the first time in the history of our company all HR can be found within the same space, no more spreadsheets, paper records, multiple people moving the same data around. I'm not HR manager but was able to set up and mostly configure the system within the 14 day trial period, and with the support of HR Partner was able was to roll out to employees within 3 weeks. So far team feedback has been very positive on look and feel.

Wonderful!
HR partner has been an excellent software for our organisation. It has transformed how we manage and look after our employees. All the features are really useful and intuitive, and we have really enjoyed finding out what the system can do and how it can help with both our daily administrative tasks and wider strategy objectives. The system provides a great user experience for all staff as well, particularly when booking leave. We have had a fantastic onboarding process with [sensitive content hidden] who has been incredibly helpful and is always quick to assist us with our queries. The support team as well are brilliant and reliable and we would recommend this system to anyone who asks. The team behind HR Partner are always searching for ways to improve the software as well and listen to any feature requests we may have which is great. The support team didn't push the sale on us (as we found other companies did), instead they just showed us what it could do and we went through the various features and discussed how it might be a good fit for our organisation. The implementation was really good as well and we felt supported throughout. It also has great integrations with payroll and recruitment softwares as well.

With any software there are a few things that can't be done however what we like about HR partner is that they always can find a way around this for you and if not can put through a feature request for you.
Reasons for Switching to HR Partner
A lot of these softwares have similar features and functions however HR partner felt much more tailored to a smaller organisation which we are and so felt more suitable (not to say that it isn't appropriate for larger organisations which it is as well!). As mentioned, we felt the demo session was great whereas a lot of the other softwares we looked into felt very much like a sales call and in cases quite pushy. Great HR Management System for Small-Medium Businesses
The customer service from HR partner is amazing. The team are very responsive to feedback and implementing improvement changes based on the user experience. It has been a pleasure working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] over the past 11 months. They are fantastic and always give tailored advice to work with our business needs.
Pros
- Use of checklists and e-signatures modules for distributing policy/procedure information across our business as it allow's clear employee attestation.- Organisation chart at a glance- Ability for managers to track leave balances, education and training needs, add in important notes.- Adding reminders for tasks and expiry dates for training e.g. OH&S obligations
Cons
- It would be great to be able to have approval or action workflows attached to Forms so the person the form is submitted to can then action it e.g. Company Expense Form submitted to a direct manager to then approve or reject.- Performance management module is very new to this software so further improvements are required re: automation of scheduling so that the review is actually assigned to the employee , improving notifications to managers re: tasks they have to complete .- Performance review forms cannot be modified without losing data already entered against the form, so a new form needs to be created each time a small change is needed.

We fully take on board your suggestions and they've been added to the feature requests list. I would like to just pickup on a few though.
First, it sounds like you may be using the Custom Forms module for expenses, rather than the Expense module itself. The Expense module allows you to build in very specific approval rules meaning claims can go straight to a person's manager and then potentially onto an Admin in Finance for example.
We're sorry that changes to Form templates can cause them to break, though this will be the case with many form building tools out there. To help ease the frustration this may cause, you have the ability to create a duplicate of an existing form, so that you can just jump in and change what you need to change in the new version, rather than having to build the entire form from scratch.

Transformed our HR admin

The customer service. It really is 24/7 as they have people in every time zone (note - people, not bots!) But mostly it is very straightforward and easy to use

One of our best investements

HR Partner is a brilliant tool for small and mid sized companies to manage employees. It has all the features you can think about including Expense Claims, Leave Management, Recruitment etc.
Cons
There are not really any cons but some improvements they can add. They need to improve the reports section. You cannot really generate quality reports. Also there is no option to print an expense claim or other things. Sure you can do ctrl+p but that prints the whole page. Would be nice if they can give option to print employee details and expense claims in nicer cleaner way.Have an inbuilt system to generate salary slips.Add live chat support on their website that would be awesome

A great addition to our company!
We are happy to have implemented this software into our company. The support team have been great and are very knowledgeable. We had a great demo call and appreciated the 2 week trial. Following our setup, we were able to have another call with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to check how we are integrating the system and iron out any niggles. We are looking forward to rolling out the software in the company and believe it will add a lot of value and save us a lot of time and energy!
Pros
Overall a great piece of software. The software makes it easy for Admins to control / amend holidays even after they have been approved. The chat function is great as you usually receive a response within 2 hours of submitting a query. It is great that the software has a recruitment function. We look forward to handling our internal recruitment on this. We have previously used a paper form application form for applicants but the recruitment function allows you to create a custom application form so this process can now be digitised for us. Furthermore, there is a great 'scorecard' function that allows you to collectively assess job applicants as a hiring team together, so it provides one easily accessible platform to handle internal recruitment. There are lots of ways to customise the software to tailor it to your business' needs e.g. adding your own leave categories, assigning different hours to different employees, assigning different permissions to the Admin users.
Cons
If a leave request is initiated by an Admin rather than an employee, the leave request will not display on the employee's recent leave requests. Also, employees can only view their annual leave calendar on a monthly basis rather than being able to view the whole year in one go. Furthermore, days off in their annual leave calendar do not state whether or not this was a half of whole day making it difficult for employees to track where they have taken leave. On our previous software, employees were also able to request 0.5 days off whereas this software forces you to input the hours and minutes for a half day... this is not a huge issue but just leaves more room for error with employees having to work this out for themselves. I have submitted these issues as a request for improvement with the developers so hopefully they can implement these changes!

Best HR software, from recruiting to onboarding to managing
Our on boarding process, PTO management, and employee census info were archaic and clumsy at best. HR partner has solved this for us. And we find ourselves using it more and more with its robust features.
Pros
What I like most about HR partner is its ease of set up. Everything links together and is intuitive. For example, when you add your employees and choose who their supervisor is, it automatically creates an available organizational chart.
Cons
The software integrates with some payroll providers but not ours unfortunately.

The Complete HR Management Package
HR Partner is much better than the previous HR software we used. Switching to HR Partner was the best decision we could have made, having all employee information in a glance has made our life and work easier.
Pros
HR Partner has all the information we need about every employee, it is easy to use, it allows us to have different leave policies and holidays depending on the location of our staff, so we can personalize it according to our needs. The note system is great to keep a record of every detail we need to review in the future.
It is flexible and intuitive and it has a lot of extra options other systems don’t have like recruitment and a document library where all training documents or manuals can be uploaded. Overall is a very complete system that covers every employee aspect we need.
Cons
The only issue I have is with the automatic leave accruals, I’m using the Upfront option where the employee will be allocated the entire default allowance at the start of the employment and every anniversary thereafter but I wish there was an option here where you can start the allowance on a certain date and not on the anniversary date.

HRPartner is really good
Pros
- I was looking for software that will help us track paid time off (leave) and I found software that can help us with dozens of other HR needs that I didn't realize we needed including recruitment (job postings, integration with Glassdoor, etc.), employee documentation, sick day tracking, org charts, onboarding/termination checklists, online employee requests, pay scale tracking, position and location tracking, and much more.
- The customer service has been absolutely fantastic. Seriously fantastic. They have representatives around the world that can help companies in any time zone. We are in the Eastern (USA) time zone and I have had help from Australia early in the morning and Alaska later in the day. Responses always come in a few seconds.
- They are open and very quick to fulfill feature requests. I don't know if I just have good ideas, or if HRPartner is just one of the most effective development teams I have seen in years, but I have requested half a dozen changes and every single one has been added except one. The last one was a timeclock module, and they have said that they are building one that should be rolled out in the next few weeks. Based on their track record, I have no doubt it will be added.
- I can tell that the HRPartner team is not huge. I have chatted directly with the CEO. But in this case, that seems like a good thing. It makes them very nimble and able to provide great service and to meet my needs quickly.
Cons
- The software/website is fairly new which means that many features are coming soon.
- Some nice-to-have features are still pending.
- There are limited integrations: only one payroll integration (Xero) and only one recruiting integration (Glassdoor)

Since we are all WFH, it very easy to manage our employees via HR Partner.
Pros
HR Partner is easy to use and it's also easy to convert to from your current HR system.
Their support desk is also quick, friendly and helpful and a lot can also be found in their manuals too.

Integration with more job boards would be much appreciated and creating an app for smartphones too.

Its fantastic, I'm new in post ( 3 months) and I've achieve so much and moving HR in the right direction to make this quick and efficient , with some interactive fun along the way.
Pros
Love the Tutorials this was a great place to start for me as I had never used this system before answered all my immediate questions with the helpful videos.HR Partner portal for Admin user and Staff portal is fantastic, it really is a one stop shop and if you are very creative, like I am, you will love the variety this system brings. Recruitment, Onboarding and Inductions along with Probations are now all built, with videos, forms, and e signature documents. Our first year for Performance reviews has been successful and hoping that the forms will soon be downloadable too as normal forms......the list is endless!!

Just when I think I can't do something I seek advice with the support team and they find me an alternative, and generally that works out better than my original idea.NO CONS from me.

Brilliant platform for HR Management
Overall I have had a very positive experience with HR Partner. They have been keen to work with us to develop solutions to meet our specific needs which has been great. The support chat function is really useful and quick to respond especially for quick fixes or advice. Although our issues with the leave calculations have taken a long time to be resolved, we understand it is quite specific to our company structure and appreciate the improvements put in place.
Pros
The ease of use is a definite plus. The navigation is great and really simple from both the admin perspective and the employee portal. Very easy to find the information you are looking for.
Cons
There have been a few issues where the software hasn't worked for the way our company is structured. An example of this is the annual leave which with our employees working various 2 week shift patterns has been difficult. Although it took a while to resolve, HR Partner have implemented a way to turn off the auto calculation in the leave field to allow us to use it but with the long delay it has meant we have struggled to use the platform to record leave

Amazing value
A big improvement from our last system, excellent value and cannot fault the service we've received.
Pros
This is a great product for SMEs wanting to streamline HR processes and save time. Really good value for the number of features that are included and compared to other HRIS on the market. Their support is second to none, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] always gets back to us super quickly.
Cons
Annual leave seems overly complicated. Most other HRIS I've trialed, the leave has been straightforward and quite automated whereas this needs quite a bit of manual intervention
