The best suite ever
I've been using Google Workspace for the best part of the last ten years and I'm so happy I made the switch. It made it incredibly easy to switch OS for work without ever worrying about compatibility and having all documents stored in Drive gives me the peace of mind of not having to worry about damaging hard disk or ageing servers
Pros
I love how it perfectly syncs with any device. It makes working across devices so effortless and even on devices that are not mine and on different OSs
If I need to recuperate a document I can simply login pick up from where I stopped
Cons
Most less common features are add-ons that need to be installed and are not natively integrate in the softwares

The optimum solution for SME
As a company, we are very happy to work with Google Workspace and we totally recommend it, especially if you are hooked in the Apple ecosystem. However, if you are able to have a small IT team, I would recommend to avoid using it as a "one-stop-shop" for your IT needs as there are some other, standalone products who work better compared to native Google Workspace Apps.
Pros
I really enjoy the fact that the vast majority of IT & software needs for a Small / Medium Enterprise are fully covered by Google Workspace: emails - software - files - calendar - meetings etc.
Also, the fact that all technical aspects & issues are handled by Google directly, help me saving time on a daily basis.
Cons
I don't like two facts on Google Workspace. The most important one is that Google Drive for Mac does not work as it should and there have been numerous cases were the files weren't syncing properly between different users. This is a real pain and we have considered moving to another vendor for cloud storage.
The other issue that we don't like is that all new features of Google are not always instantly available to users across our organisation.

All in One Digital Workspace
As an educator, Google Workspace is a timesaver. We use the entire G Suite. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use. It has many features but doesn't get burdensome by too many features.
Pros
Google Workspace seamlessly integrates everything you need as a teacher all saved in the cloud. As a teacher for 20 years, I have moved over from other document/presentation/calendar formats to using the apps in Google Workspace almost exclusively. I love that it automatically saves your work. Also, the different apps work together to streamline your work.
Cons
Although the templates in some of the apps are good, I have found myself going to other places to find templates as the ones built in are somewhat dated.

Google workspace is best when you prefer to work on the cloud
There are a bunch of cool features and availability on the cloud is great but hard to beat M365 suite of apps that are more flexible and have desktop counterparts.
Pros
The option to use real time updated versions of any file and track the revisions on any browser is great.
Cons
Its mostly cloud based making the documents difficult to edit without a connection or when you are offline - like on a plane or when the organization restricts it.

Google Drive, a cloud-based storage solution, guarantees secure file storage and accessibility...
Google Workspace has significantly augmented our collaboration, while also improving the efficiency and security of our research procedures. It is an essential resource for any research-focused organization seeking to maintain organization and connectivity.
Pros
I highly like the smooth integration of Google Workspace across multiple programs, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This facilitates real-time collaboration among our staff, enabling effortless sharing, editing, and commenting on documents, so markedly improving productivity. The capacity to access and manipulate files from any device, be it a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, has proven especially advantageous for remote work and field research.
Cons
The offline capability, while accessible, is not consistently reliable or seamless as one might anticipate. These constraints, although not critical, do induce occasional inefficiencies in our collaborative research endeavors.
