The laboratory execution system (LES) is part of the tempo manufacturing cloud that lets teams scale up and out with unprecedented speed and accuracy. Tempo unifies the manufacturing and laboratory execution systems alongside the tandem virtual collaboration solution, each purpose-built for pharma.

Develop advanced test methods without requiring any coding through a no-code configuration process. It offers a built-in quality control to review and resolve exceptions as they happen, programmable guidelines that prevent step completion when values exceed defined ranges, and auto-calculation of formulas. Collaborative authoring of recipes with live-group editing, as well as collaborative execution so steps can be assigned to different users, observed in real-time, and completed in parallel.

It offers hands-free operation through augmented instructions, such as photos and videos, that can be attached to each step and advanced actions such as integrated interactions with equipment or materials, to go beyond predefined data inputs. Multi-device support so the MES can be used from anywhere with the preferred web browser, while in-suite operators can use a mobile or wearable headset. Purpose-built to meet pharma’s specific needs and stringent security requirements, such as by centralizing all documentation and data required to audit and approve a batch release, or the ability to review and release by exception through built-in conditions and exceptions.
