Great Quality with Mango Voice
Overall, we have had a positive experience with Mango Voice since implementation. Although there has been kinks along the way, the service is great and pretty reliable.
Pros
Mango Voice has streamlined our practice and brought it up-to-date with VoIP services that integrate well with our Yapi software. Caller ID, Yapi integration, personalized phone settings, and call recording have really helped our dental practice evolve and given us more capabilities to better serve our patients.
Cons
The mobile app could use some work - notifications are usually non-existent and would be helpful to have voicemails be able to be retrieved on mailbox after being heard on mobile app and having other features on mobile app would be great. Sound quality on call recording for the other participant plays back very quietly, hard to hear at times. The support person assigned to our office is less than superb - when contacting via the messenger online, it asks to enter an email and phone number so they can reach out to us (I don't have all day to monitor for a response on the website as we are a busy practice) and they NEVER call back. The only time I've received a call back was when I left a negative review. I informed the person who responded to my negative review of why it was left, however, the issue has occurred multiple times since then.

Great phone service, App needs improvement
Overall the actual phones and online website to manage the phones works great.
Pros
I like how easily I can change the phones from on/off and make and store my customized voice mails since our schedule changes frequently
Cons
This software's app is a little delayed for being such a great phone system. It constantly won't allow calls to go through or allow me to receive calls when we are out of the office. I have to delete the app and reinstall at least once a week.

Unhappy Customer
You can only access their portal and call log from USA and Canada. When I was on vacation in Europe I was unable to check the call log.
Pros
Friendly customer support. They provided training and helped us set up the phone tree
Cons
When it was time for renewal they doubled the price stating that upon review of the account there are 5 user but we were paying for 3 users. Ofcourse, that was incorrect and we only were using 3 phones. I do not know how they perform their audit but it was done incorrectly.
Also, after a year with them we realized they had a inaccurate caller ID for us. The caller ID was displaying a rondom name not our business name.

Great Service
It has been very pleasant. I am able to finally trust a company to do what they told me they would do. Minimal issues and great resolution.
Pros
The customer service is exceptional. We were previously with Weave and had issues that were not resolved for weeks if not months at a time. Mango is easy to call or chat with and the service and resolutions are quick. We have had few issues to begin with, which is amazing in itself.
Cons
I wish that faxes were integrated with our Modento software so that I don't have to use another tab on my google chrome, but email notifications help with this.

Wish we were large enough of a practice to utilize all of the features
Pros
There are so many features, a few of which integrate into our Open Dental software and our Flex application we use for texting and patient paperwork.
Cons
It would be nice to have just a step down plan where we are not paying for features we are unable to use, or are redundant to the services offered in programs which Mango integrates. We also find that the service is pretty fickle. I am sure some of it has to do with internet on our side, but there are a notable amount of dropped/unconnected calls. The good thing is that the call logging is very reliable, so knowing it is an issue we have been having, it has been easy to stay on top of it.

Overall the text/fax desktop site works great for communication with patients and faxing.
Pros
User friendly when it actually works, may be the Yealink Phones more than anything though...
Cons

Overall good product
Very pleased, as a matter of fact, I have told several other offices about Mango Voice.
Pros
Very easy to set up and being able to access voice mails online and/or from my email makes it very convenient to access. I can also change or update the settings easily online as well, very.
Cons
Sometimes it is very difficult to hear people and they have a hard time hearing me. I had to get a head set witch has helped (but unfortunately was an additional cost).

Has been great, recently not so great
Pros
I like the software. Customer service is good and it integrates with Flex and Open Dental well. The service is down again today after being down all day a week or so ago. Not sure why we are having this issue frequently right now, but I would certainly ask before you sign on.
Cons

It gets the job done...kinda
The calling and voicemail have been really nice and the main reason I have stuck around. Once again the only gripe is the web app and the texting that are terrible.
Pros
I like being able to see the call logs and controlling the call routing and schedule.
Cons
The web app and desktop app have been terrible. I don't think i've ever had them work correctly. When I've talked with support there excuse has always been there is new version coming that will be lots better. Still waiting for them to get it right.

Mango Voice Review
Pros
I enjoy being able to send faxes without having to own a fax machine, and when the software works, the switchboard function of routing calls is also a great function.
Cons
The recent frequency of degraded service, particularly on Mondays and the lack of an ETA on any type of fix. Our business relies heavily on incoming and outgoing calls and having that not working cripples a large portion of our income stream.

Mango Voice Review of Business Phone System
Overall our experience with mango has been ok, when it is working well we like it. The cost is less so some of the inconveniences of having to contact customer service to change settings are a tradeoff for paying less. I wish it was more automated with the ability for more local control of settings on the phone. We have considered changing from Mango to something else due to difficulty hearing patients.
Pros
The things we like the most about Mango are the phones were easy to learn and use with this system, the software integrates with our other business products that we use, pricing was less than a similar product that we tried previously.
Cons
The things we like least about Mango. The service is spotty we had periods of time where we would experience dropped calls. Recently service was out for 3 hours during regular business hours. We are unable to make changes to business shedule and put phones on voicemail if we are closed or out of the office for training during the normally scheduled business hours. I feel like we should be able to do this from the office, but we must call customer service to do so. Difficulty hearing person on other end during a phone call. We spent time programming all frequently dialed Customer Contact Numbers and then they all just disappeared one day.

Great choice for our dental practices
Pros
The price point was much better than our previous VOIP telephone provider with much better software and customizable feature. I love the switchboard which allows us to reroute calls when team members are out, without patients having to navigate a tedious menu. The cloud-based soft-phone allows us access to our system from anywhere, so we can call patients from OUR number anywhere, eliminating the need to use personal cellphones to speak with them during emergency on-call hours, when we need to close for a weather emergency, etc. The software is intuitive and requires little training.
Cons
The call reports are basic and not customizable. It would be great if we could download them into excel to sort the data and use it as we need.

Do not purchase this software
Yealink phones are hard for people to use. Some came broken and service rep did not replace, he ignored us.
Customer service is the worst. If you can ever get someone to answer, most likely they will have to switch you to one of two people who can actually help. Usually, there is no way to fix what is wrong. We have had bad or dropped connections. It is so bad, many staff just use their cell phone instead of the desk phone.
The app does not work. Forwarded calls cannot be answered from the cell phone nor transferred. It is a waste of time.
Would not recommend.
Pros

Pros
I really like the VOIP system. I also l love that we can send and receive text messages through the software. The fax feature is really easy and I no longer have to walk to the fax machine.
Cons

Mango Voice - great for phone service and fax service!
Pros
The best thing about Mango Voice is that you can listen to past phone calls to verify information and that we can set a schedule for the phones to forward to a personal cellphone. That way, we can readily pick up and help our patients even when the office is closed. It is also very convenient that we can also fax using this software!
Cons
Mango Voice is VoIP, so if your internet provider is down, then the software is down as well. It's a choice you make when choosing Mango Voice, but it is not Mango's fault. You have to weigh this in when making the decision to choose this software.

Living the Mango life
I would choose it again.
Pros
I appreciate the snippets, I say a lot of repetitive things and this helps greatly. My patients love being able to text me and it's a much quicker response time than email. I like that they get an auto text when they call and I'm not able to answer the phone. It changes the course of the communication. I also appreciate that it's is linked to my patients charts.
Cons
I would like to be able to 'flag' conversations that need follow up so they are not buried under many other communications. I'd like to be able to block numbers (spam) from texting.
Sometime our calls will drop for no reason but not that often.

Review 4/26/22
I think my frustration outweighs the pros here. I do think that it's easy to use on my cell phone when I work remotely. However, the repetition of signing in does waste a lot of time. It is my fault for not making you aware of this sooner. I tried calling the other day because the phone system in the office wasn't working (in and out of service) and I was directed to the status.mangovoice web page to check the current situation. I called again just to speak with someone and I decided to leave a message instead as there was a wait. Even though the phone service was fixed a little later, I still wished I got a call back to confirm because I had calls to make to patients who needed my attention (some of them are true emergencies and are in pain) and I wished I knew sooner. I did mention about the app not wanting to work sometimes in my message, and I wished I had at least a call back acknowledging that I was heard.
Pros
I like being able to use my cell phone when I'm out of the office and still be able to contact patients. The app is very easy to navigate and it gets the job done.
Cons
The app on my phone sometimes shows up with a blank white screen whenever I try to make calls. I have to keep signing in and go through that whole process and it does waste time. Sometimes the phone audio quality from both the caller and receiver isn't able to hear one or the other.

Mango positives and negatives
My staff was frustrated with product help line. There was a recording that said "We are experiencing problems in our eastern region and we are working hard to resolve this issue."
We were hoping to get directions on how to maybe route our patients calls to our office cell phone or other options but we could and did not get a real person to talk to ! this is crippling to a small business and could unhealthful to our patients.
I'm not angry yet, just disappointed.
Pros
It integrates well with our dental practice management software X-L Dent and when it works it allows us to dial out to patients with one click and opens our computer software to the patients chart by caller ID recognition.
Cons
The last 2 weeks on Monday patients can't call in. and we could not call out and mt staff could not call out. Or, calls dropped when people called in.

VoiP
Overall this product works as it should. There are occasions that the phone connection is choppy or has a bad echo every time you talk.
Pros
Integration process was easy to do. I like that I have the ability to listen to a voicemail from my email since the mobile app does not let you do this for the android version.
Cons
The mobile app could use a better platform. I use the android version and it is inconsistent on working while trying to call people from the office number. At the time of signing up, they were coming out with a more enhanced version for both and I was told that the android version would be better than the bare minimum capabilities that they had at that time. I am still waiting on this "enhanced version" and it has almost been a year.

Pros
Easy to set up and use. Reliable service most of the time.
Cons
The software has worked great for over 9 months now but recently we have been experiencing outages and when those happen no customer service reps have been available to address our concerns. For a medical office to be without phone service for HOURS and have no one to speak with about it is unacceptable. Also, the office scheduling feature needs work. You have to manually set when you would like the phones to be on and off instead of being able to put in a schedule customized for certain days/weeks.

Overall is good other than the app problem
Pros

Cons
I work from home sometimes so I installed the app on a phone and added an extra line. The app is terrible, calls drop every time, they don't connect half of the time, when I answer a call the patient doesn't hear me... etc.. Its an ongoing problem. I have called and all they say is that someone on that team will contact me, but I'm still waiting for the call. I called back and they said the team went on vacation and they will reach out. Outages
The previous questions make me aware we may not be using our service to its full potential. For the most part, it’s been fine - convenient and reliable, and I’ve appreciated quick responses to our questions regarding how best to add users and work remotely.
Pros
The switchboard allows us to change our outgoing messages easily, as well as direct off-hours calls to the appropriate person week to week.
Cons
Last Monday and today we had only intermittent service. Patients and our partner must be able to reach us and we must be able to reach them - that’s how a specialty practice based on referrals works. It’s frustrating not to be able to get any answers from you.

When it works it is okay
I would not recommend mango voice to anyone else. Even if it is cheaper, their constant outages and time your team will spend on the phone w support are worth paying extra to go with someone else.
Pros
I like their text feature when it works.
Cons
Too many outages, and problems getting setup. When first implemented we were in the phone w support everyday for about two weeks working out kinks that were supposedly “resolved.” Now, about every 4-6 weeks there is an outage where their services do not work. It’s very frustrating for both staff and clients and cost the business a lot of money.
