Spot On Restaurant
Pros
The customer service is top notch. Every time I call in, whoever is on the other line is always ready and eager to answer any questions I may have. They also provide useful input on strategy with how to create a button, modifier or how to implement an idea I have in my head and put it to use via our POS.
Cons
The keyboard is the only negative thing with SpotOn. It's a funny joke amongst our staff at how awesome the system is top to bottom but the keyboard is the only part of SpotOn restaurant we don't understand.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was fantastic when it came to explaining why we needed SpotOn vs. other products. He was never pushy and had the answers to the questions we had, and when he didn't, he would tell us he didn't know, which we appreciated more than always having the answer. Poor Customer Service

Easy to use.

Customer service severely lacking! [sensitive content hidden] was our salesman. After selling us the system he disappeared. No follow through on any of his promises. He said he lived nearby and could come anytime there was a problem. After Spoton got our money he stopped answering calls. We returned the hand held devices more than two months ago and never heard anything from them. Still no credit for the returned devices. We only used the tv display in the kitchen for 2 weeks. It never worked properly and no one came to fix it and we are still being charged for it. We called customer support multiple times. Everytime we call we are told someone will get back to us in 48 hours. No one ever calls us back.

SpotOn Review for Multiple Brands & Locations
Overall we are pleased with SpotOn POS in all of our restaurants. Being so new to the game, it feels at times that their support teams are learning as they go. There are things we have had to figure out on our own with loyalty, gift card processing, email marketing, etc. Sense of urgency when it comes to support is an area of opportunity for SpotOn on, but [sensitive content hidden] and the other members of the Restaurant Success Team have been able to jump in and assist as needed.
Pros
The Above Store dashboard is extremely helpful and easy to use. Reporting is detailed and in real time. Menu Item programming and screen layout is very user friendly and easier than other POS systems. SpotOn Reserve is a great addition at all of our locations and helps speed up seating, wait list estimates, organize reservations and makes our Host teams more efficient. [sensitive content hidden] (SpotOn Restaurant Success Manager) has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is hands down the most knowledgeable and helpful person on their team!
Cons
Our initial launch was a little rocky, and rolling out gift cards with Valutec and the loyalty program through SpotOn had quite a few speed bumps.

Overall I’ve had a great experience with this company. I have two locations now that I use them for. [sensitive content hidden] helped me with my questions, helped me establish my accounts for both locations quickly, and overall very professional. Great company & staff

Sometimes I would get some errors on my equipment
