The software and hardware were relatively easy to set up. > > **Cons**: The company made massive changes to their software in the past that resulted in partial and sometimes complete yearly data. > > Loss of data. Customer support was extremely slow and we were required to deal with customer support in the Phillippines that proved to be unhelpful. Eventually, the support team gave up on the problems and we were obliged to revert back to dealing with the corporate management. I'm not paying for document storage so we will use the old software until it will no longer work. ----- ### "Unfair Business" — 3.0/5 > **Marcelo** | *25 July 2024* | Food & Beverages | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: Good invoice cloud storage and ease to use > > **Cons**: removes features after you sign up for an annual subscription and does not refund money for features that are no longer provided > > I have used Neat for many years and approximately 3 years ago I upgraded my subscription to be able to use the QuickBooks connection desktop, my subscription was renewed in February 2024 and on June 15 2024, Neat removed the QuickBooks connection, so I requested to make a downgrade my subscription because I don't see the point in paying for a plan that I don't need, and they informed me that they will not refund my plan because it has been more than 30 days since my subscription was renewed, so Neat stopped providing a service in the middle of my subscription and I am forced to pay for a service that I am not receiving, this doesn't make sense, maybe this is a way for the company to make money. The organization is simple with this software as well. You can have it stored on your computer and use whatever method of organization you like.
