Easy to use and fast processing and playback. Amount of features and customization for the price is outstanding. > > **Cons**: Only 3 months of using the service, so far no complaints or missing features for how we utilize the platform. ----- ### "Happy former Vimeo user" — 4.0/5 > **Matt** | *22 April 2026* | Media Production | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: Great alternative for hosting videos. The software is well-documented so it typically just takes a bit of digging to find what you need. > > **Cons**: Learning curve is a bit steep for someone coming from Vimeo, but as I said above, the software is well documented. If all else fails, the SV staff have been great at assisting me. > > My overall experience was a relatively seamless transition from Vimeo to have SproutVideo host my website's videos. ----- ### "Looks better than it is." — 2.0/5 > **Tad** | *22 October 2020* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: Easy to set up, and it has clean presentation. Not difficult to get up and running with the interface that sprout provides. Pretty well straight forward with video uploads and a few code snippets to share your videos. > > **Cons**: The display is not as simple as it appears. Of course the embed, share, etc. code/url will generate quite easily for sharing. The problem comes when you realize that many wordpress sites will not display on mobile without digging into the source code of your site, not for a beginner. Then the absolute worst is when you attempt to cancel subscription. You can easily assume you have completed the process....which seems like a 10 minute lecture \& quiz; only to be hit with your payment the following month. Turns out the very last question in what seems like a marathon must be completed. > > We use Sproutvideo as a private platform to display our marketing video content, however upon realizing the issues with mobile wordpress display we attempted to delete account. Only to enter into this odd cancelation trial. ----- ### "I would recommend" — 4.0/5 > **Sean** | *5 June 2026* | Medical Devices | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: Easy to use without instructions, good support when i have needed it, I would recommend for someone with not that much boradband needed. > > **Cons**: No enough broadband allowed for sprout users, if we exceed any more may switch to a different platform, I don't want to pay $40 more just for bandwidth > > Positive, easy to user for a developer or lay person. Easy to make playlist and good user interface ----- ### "Great value and cost" — 5.0/5 > **Jayme** | *22 May 2026* | Media Production | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: How simple in interface is. Meaning its clean not bogged down causing adhd frenzy. The quality is great on my site and professional clean. > > **Cons**: There was a bit of a learning curve or simply don't rush when you're running through the settings. Slow and steady wins the race. > > I am happy with the quality of sprouts output and professional look on my sites. Great value for cost. ----- Page: 1 / 9\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/356095/sproutvideo?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/356095/sproutvideo) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
