Customized behavior using InstallScript is very helpful. Silent install capability is helpful for IT admins. Capability for rudimentary automation is helpful. > > **Cons**: Automation of InstallScript projects is limited, basic, and buggy. Installer development documentation is just limited enough that trial and error works better. More images and downloadable samples in available documentation would be helpful. I wish we could copy/paste components, and import them from other projects, rather than having to recreate a component and reset all the settings. I wish that you could exclude an entire subfolder in component settings. I wish that you could specify for the installer to install empty folders if they are in the source. I wish that prerequisite conditions were more powerful, so we could check for common issues, like a leftover registry key from a prerequisite that has been uninstalled, but appears to be installed.
