Great for beginners who are just starting out
My overall experience with Weebly was great when I first started out because of the low cost, the ease of setup and to establish an online presence. It did a great job!
Pros
Great for when I first got started in e-commerce. Very easy to set up, it was free, and easy interface.
Cons

I've Been Using Weebly Since Childhood, Here's What I Think
Weebly has a special place in my life, as I essentially grew up with the brand. It's a perfect website builder for those that need small, personal websites or student project websites. For those with more intensive needs, I may suggest looking elsewhere. However, Weebly still gets the job done.
Pros
I like the simplicity of Weebly that allows even a middle school student to set up a website with ease. In fact, I made my first websites with Weebly in middle school, and still have one Weebly website as an adult. The drag-and-drop builder makes Weebly a premier choice for beginners.
Cons
As the years pass, Weebly seems to be behind the times with regard to new features. For example, I asked years ago if Weebly would ever get video backgrounds like their competitor, Wix. It was "still in the works," but I don't think that feature has been implemented yet.

An easy and eloquent but limited solution
I began using Weebly as early as 2008 when creating my very first brand presence online. I used Weebly to create a beautiful website with photos of my handmade products. It was very easy to create and became even easier to use as the years went on from 2008 to about 2019. When Weebly added the addition of password protected pages, memberships, and e-commerce, they were truely ahead of the game in terms of an all one solution and and a solution that presented absolute ease. I have created blogs, e-commerce sites and even membership areas with Weebly. As an experienced user, I even taught Weebly to new business owners in my community from 2016-2018. I used to exclusively use and recommend Weebly for almost anything, but these items make me consider other options now depending on the project. My experience with Weebly overall has been good and very business empowering. That said, these days there are solutions that seem like they are more supported and get more frequent updates than Weebly.
Pros
Weebly is still by far one of the most, if not the easier, fastest way to get a beautiful website up knowing it will look good on both desktop and mobile right out of the gate.
Cons
Since Weebly was purchased by Square / Squareup, there have been few updates to the Weebly platform itself and it's apps. This means that some of the features on Weebly such as apps are outdated or no longer work correctly. In addition, it can be tricky to start and log-in to Weebly now without being redirected to Square. This is very confusing especially for someone new to website creation.

Overall Good. I could set up my portfolio site and manage it quite easily.
Pros
Easy to use and set up. I could create pages and layouts quite easily and it certaily offers more templates today than in the past.
Cons

Great for those who can make alot from a little
Overall Weebly is very cost effective and easy to navigate. This is great starter website for all who need a digital footprint online. For those who are more advanced it allows you to set up a secure website as well.
Pros
One of the luxuries is this product is that it is free. This website provides different themes to start you off and then you build from there. They make it easy to embed different links like payment buttons and pictures you want displayed. You can change colors, add text, titles and themes. Overall any administrator with a creative eye should be able to navigate this site.
Cons
My main irritant about Weebly is the "powered by Weebly"water mark that remains on every page. Everyone who visits your page will know your site is through Weebly. Also there are not many themes when getting started. You have a few to get started with but it's up to you to make it original.

Weebly User Review
Weebly is really handy to use, very easy to learn, the app is really helpful as well as you can make edits without a computer or laptop.
Pros

Cons

Weebly is Good for the Basics
Pros
I've designed my own website in the past on Weebly, but I also design for other people who've hired me. To be honest, they've got a great basic style and it gives people who are less designed inclined to work on their own website without freaking out that everything went wrong.
Cons
But as for the nature of it, the features are at best basic. I've had people integrate through bluehost and only be allowed to get 6 pages to design unless they've upgraded further. I've had people have the highest package and not get some of the design elements they wanted.

There are no real advantages to using Weebly
Overall Weebly was a good introduction to web design but I wouldn't recommend anyone using it long term. Play around with it if you must. But there are so many better alternatives - your time would be better spent learning to build on WP.
Pros
It's relatively easy to use for someone who's never built a website before. Also, the pricing is budget-friendly.
Cons
It feels really clunky and old fashioned.. it's so glitchy. Often doing something simple like adding a header takes 1-2 minutes. It's just not worth the hassle compared to other web builders. Also the ability to customize the designs is really limited and the support is total rubbish, don't even bother trying to contact them.

Weebly is a good starter website builder
Overall weebly is a good option to start a website. However, it will cost more to add features I feel should be included in the cost.
Pros

Cons

Weebly - mostly ups, relatively few downs.
Positive overall, from the perspective of a relatively confident graphic designer able to create and manipulate graphics to add hero images / vectors to pages. Without a really good licensed image library, you might find it a struggle to create a unique and attractive website, but that's part of the challenge and where the satisfaction comes from; creating a beautiful website shouldn't be a piece of cake - you should expect to have to work (a little) at it!
Pros
Very intuitive and simple to achieve a reasonable level of professionalism with limited graphic design skill. Handy features for e-commerce, shipping settings allow tax and weight customisation based on territory. For simple content-based website, pretty quick and satisfying to use.
Cons
For more detailed product / brand shops, can be a little clunky to upload and customise new products, and has limited functionality in terms of sub-menus for product categories, with some layouts being very limited without being able to create custom code. Shipping costs can be confused, with items inheriting the wrong cost leading to an expensive overseas order (*this happened once).

Great Choice for E-Commerce Businesses
I've ran my website through Weebly for about four years, and overall I've been very happy with its features. I've had a few hiccups along the way with the platform, but I am still very satisfied and intend to stick with them.

Cons
What I liked least about Weebly is that sometimes the customization options felt a bit limited when I wanted to get really specific with my design. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility in tweaking things exactly how I want them. But overall, it still got the job done well.

Definitely for Non-Coders
Helped a client set up a webstore by creating several pages and adding custom styling to them. Was pretty easy to learn (this was my first try at using the site editor). The preview mode is quirky (using an iframe) and the site editor's navigation is a little hard to understand at first.
Pros
Layout sections are easy to set up and adapt well with content. Seems to be very responsive out of the gate.
Cons
No place for custom CSS. No versioning of changes. One really annoying thing: if you get logged out while in the Weebly site editor (logged in as a Square user), it doesn't direct you back to Square's login. Not sure why it asks you to sign into weebly. This confused the hell out of me several times since I don't have a Weebly account and had to backtrack to find the Square login.

Excellent for the price
I was able to take my web project from idea to publication in just a few days thanks to the powerful tools included in the free plan. I was then able to easily scale by upgrading my site with more pages, advanced eCommerce features, and a custom domain by upgrading to a paid plan. The support and documentation were also excellent in resolving any issues or concerns. I would definitely recommend Weebly to any person or organization looking for a low-cost and efficient website building solution
Pros
What I liked most about Weebly was its powerful drag-and-drop visual builder. It allowed me to easily create a complex site structure with multiple pages and sections using just my mouse. Its clean and well-organized interface made the design process highly intuitive. Additionally, the numerous Responsive themes and templates helped me quickly bring my ideas to life and ensure my site looks and works well from any device
Cons
What I liked least was the limited code customization. Although the visual editor covers most needs, experienced web developers miss the ability to inject custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create completely unique designs. However, I understand that this goes against Weebly's no-code approach to allowing anyone to create a professional website

Managing a College Website through Weebly
An overall positive experience with Weebly providing great solutions and critically reducing the time needed to communicate our work to the batch.
Pros
Weebly provides an interface that is easy to use for the end user while at the same time giving enough functionality to the end user to modify it according to their standards. Another aspect of Weebly that makes it super fun to use is the ease at which you can set up your website and the subsequent management of it too.

Overall good for beginners
It is not as much good as other website builders. Other websites builders provide you full control and variety of customization options but weebly doesn’t. If you are a beginner, you can opt for weebly for learning.
Pros
it's a very good platform for users to build websites easily providing free to paid plans. Best for the beginners who don’t know coding or find coding difficult.
Cons
It has limited phone support and very few customization options for website building. Ads are another drawback that comes with free plan unless you upgrade to a paid plan.
