Once I did so, I was able to record my first video podcast episode and share it on my streaming platforms. Overall, Riverside has made it very easy to edit and share my episode, allowing me to record the full episode then helping me to get all the different things I needed for my different platforms including clips, cover art, audio files and more. I love how many options are available for me to create what I need all in one app. Overall, the layout is simple and easy to use. I can see myself using Riverside for an extended period of time for all my podcast needs. > > **Cons**: I was having problems recording my first time with my guest because of connection issues on both sides. Riverside does take a lot of strength for a computer to run so we did have to record on our phones to get thee best experience so if their is a way to lighten to lighten to demand on computers so that connection issues don't bring recording problems, that would be great. I do wish that grouping the clips based on creation would be easier. I would love to share my clips with my guests so they can have access to their clips but without them separated by when I created them, it makes it hard to share with the guests if they wanted clips for themselves. I was just running into some issues with Riverside updating to my most recent episodes from Spotify. I put in a new link for my podcast on Spotify and the first two episodes are the only one's appearing on my dashboard. > > I have been really happy with my experience overall. I love the recording. I find I do my initial edit in Riverside, which is really super easy, then I download it and use a more powerful PC based editor to complete the edits for a much more polished look. Its not that you cannot get a professional look from Riverside's editing, however, I had a format I was using PRIOR to coming to Riverside and wanted to maintain that, which I found I could not do with their editor. > > Riverside has really streamlined the entire process for me. As I am learning the new features, things just get better and better. For example, I can load my show notes into Riverside, and it can help me give my Episode a title, or a short YouTube description. It can be helpful in creating a thumbnail as well with AI. I think the biggest time saver is how it creates the shorts. The AI has become very good at doing this, and if you feel like it cut something off or started too late, you can easily go in and edit the short by following the transcript, making it easy to find the word or phrase you want to add to your clip. The biggest time saver in editing is how it can remove all of you dead air moments, of your Ummm's and Ahh's, almost seamlessly. Really, it is a no-brainer.
