Great Software for Construction Projects
Overall, ProCore has helped me and my team significantly with documentation control, submittal reviews and approvals, and downloading and reviewing drawings and photos.
Pros
Simplified the construction documentation and approval process. It is a great software to use as a central repository for submittals, photos, etc. It makes it much easier to provide reviews, feedback and approve purchases, and well as to download drawings and other documents.
Cons
The construction projects that use ProCore don't put their project schedules in ProCore, leading me to believe that the functionality is not easy to use. I also find it difficult to switch between projects, as only the company name is the home screen versus include the project names.

Versatile and customizable yet still easy to use
We've had a very positive experience with Procore. The support can be reached almost immediately using the chat and they know their stuff. The training videos are comprehensive and set up our new employees for success when using Procore.
Pros
Everyone associated with our projects (owners, design team, subcontractors, and our team) has easily accessible access to the project information at any time from anywhere. The system is highly customizable while still being easy to use for the end users. The ability to apply granular permissions when we need someone to have a little more access than others is something I don't see often.
Cons
I've always wished we could create reports ourselves and they just debuted this feature. So, nothing that I can think of right now!

Terrible experience with the entire PROCORE system
Our experience with PROCORE started out great! They promised the world . My office staff spent dozens of hours training and working through how we planned to use the format. We were told the that PROCORE integrated seamlessly with XERO accounting and that they had already designed an integration program to facilitate the accounting piece of the platform. Well $15,000 later in PROCORE fees, my team through trial and error determined that the integration they had designed didn't actually work. They insisted it did but soon realized our team was correct. They promised they would have a fix within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks for them to "FIX" the integration issue. Not sure if they did because the only communication they maintained with us was invoicing us for a service that didn't work as promised. After dozens of emails to all contacts we had at PROCORE we received not ONE response except for invoices not being paid. So we walked- $15, 000 out of pocket and what I would estimate at least that in wages paid to employees for training on the PROCORE platform , Identifying a flaw in there system and receiving no support from PROCORE after they said the XERO integration was fixed. PROCORE failed with my company. They have very little direct support available. NO accountability and no contact person assigned to our account. Maybe it works well for some but if we ran our construction company like PROCORE runs their business we would be out of business faster then you can shake a stick. I HAVE NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT PROCORE-their employees or customer support.
Pros
The idea of PROCORE looked like a great fit for our company
Cons
Customer service was terrible. They have no dedicated pint person for account holders
Integrations did not work as promised
Response from Procore Technologies
Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced with our services and appreciate you taking the time to address your concerns.
We understand how critical the XERO integration and effective customer support was for your business, and we regret that we fell short in these areas. We strive to provide our customers with dedicated personalized support, and we regret that this was not your experience. Your feedback highlights several key issues that we take seriously, and we’re committed to addressing them.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Best regards,

Life changer for construction projects management
We used Procore for several projects throughout its entire duration and it was a success. The entire team found it easy to use from the beginning and we managed to maintain the documentation in order, which helped the closeout process.
Pros
The feature that i like the most in Procore is how it beautifully integrates multiple file formats in a construction project. You can view MS Project or P6 schedules, open DWG drawings and specifications. Also the RFI and submittals management is excellent. I specially like the versatility on how can you use it, as you can use it in a mobile device and upload pictures, linking them to a specific task, RFI or punch list item.
Cons
Some users may need to customize the interface to their specific needs and workflows, and Procore is a little rigid when it comes to customization.

Comprehensive construction management tool - with a steep learning curve
Overall, Procore has been an essential tool in managing construction projects (contracts, in my case) more efficiently. It consolidates all aspects of project management into one platform, which reduces miscommunication and keeps everyone on the same page. The robust features and mobile access are huge benefits, although it does take some time to learn all its functions.
Pros
Its comprehensive project management capabilities for construction. The platform centralizes communication, document management, and scheduling, making it easy to collaborate across teams. The mobile app is especially helpful for accessing real-time updates and tracking project progress on-site. Procore’s ability to manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders in one place has improved our workflow efficiency.
Cons
What I like least is that it can be a bit overwhelming for new users. Some functions require multiple steps, and the system can feel slow at times. Additionally, the cost is higher compared to other tools, which may be a drawback for smaller projects.

Consolidated and Simplified Financial System
Pros
All project financial related items are in the one place - forecasting, subcontracts, POs, progress claiming, variations, etc., which makes it extremely easy to track all project financial elements. It is especially convenient when Procore is used for project control too (i.e., RFIs, document control, etc.), making it even more streamlined.
Cons
It can be annoying that you can't amend variations after they are approved. You also can't amend PO/SC SOV line items after an invoice has been uploaded, which makes the invoice process quite time consuming.

Procore is a must for large contractors
I started using Procore as a requirement to engage in construction management projects for my company. Having Procore is like speaking the same language with all the parties involved, which is incredibly useful for the construction sector.
Pros
I like how dynamic Procore is and how practical it is to manage projects. I really like how easy it is to change orders to an existing billing process. I really recommend it.
Cons
It's a bit expensive and people should receive training to use it properly. But those are minor inconveniences.

Easy to use when you get the hang of it
It's not bad but I wouldn't recommend it when compared to other products. A user friendly layout that is efficient and effective would completely change my view. All projects should be easily viewed with an option to filter by customer. I rarely use ProCore and when I do, I have difficulty remembering where to submit an invoice because I have to select 'Commitments' a word that should be replaced with 'Billing'.

Everything you need in one spot with Procore
My overall experience with Procore has been positive. It’s a comprehensive platform that has greatly streamlined our project management processes. From tracking project progress to collaborating with teams, Procore keeps everything in one place, making it easier to stay organized and efficient. Despite the initial learning curve, once you are familiar with the system, it’s an invaluable tool for managing construction projects.
Pros
Procore has all aspects of the project centralized into one platform so I can plan everything from a-z in one spot.
Cons
One downside to Procore is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first due to the wide range of features and tools it offers. The initial learning curve can be steep, especially for those unfamiliar with construction management software. Additionally, some customization options for reports and workflows could be more flexible.

The future of construction projects is Procore
Procore is the king of remote working especially for administrative tasks. Documents are shared and stored within Procore and seamless communication across departments and teams. It keeps me ahead of all happenings in our sites. Lastly Procore integrates with so many tools which harmonize our our business workflows.
Pros
I really had challenges using the basic project management tool for construction projects. They wouldn't fully cover all the diverse needs. Then this one-day and one of my client actually recommended Procore and in a week's time we had already deployed Procore. And I can attest that there is so much difference between Procore and those basic project management tools. Procore is crafted and tailored for the complex stuff. Having multiple sites running at the same time, we have been able to keep up with all of them without any issues. Monitoring them in every step of the cycle upto completion. Gannt charts are my best feature in Procore. They enable us to clearly represent data in a way that everyone understands and comprehends so as to be on the same page. Procore enable us keep us with accurate and realtime data on finances, budget spend , progress of projects and every other aspect of our projects. It makes it even easy to report to our seniors.
Cons
Procore is the absolute best there is. We have had a smooth ride with it, all thanks to the diverse community of Users and 24/7 support from the team

Fantastic Hub for All Project Information
My overall experience with Procore has been great. I have used it as a subcontractor needing to bill on AIA documentation to a GC, but I have mostly used it from the general contractor's perspective. The depth of information and customization is great.
Pros
Procore is a fantastic ERP system that can connect project management and accounting, as well, as external subcontractors, vendors, and owners. All information regarding a project can be found in one place, with permission setting available to prevent users from accessing things they should not.
Cons
You are not able to drill down into budget line items to see what the breakdown of cost is. This may just be how our system is configured though since we do not enter expenses directly into Procore, but rather sync them from Sage Intacct.

Software Integration Problems - Sold software that wouldn't work, won't refund, won't...
Terrible customer service, terrible management. Falsely advertises services their team can't integrate only after you have already purchased the software. The QB connector causes issues with ERP integration, cost codes, and even bidding tool requiring double the time to bid projects to break out material and labor which pulls together from all the databases. Also bidding software marks up sales tax, so all the estimators are not getting exact pricing breakout as they advertise. This could easily effect any bid that is equipment heavy.
Pros
Initially it seemed very easy to integrate and use the software from bidding to QB integration.
Cons
Sales team upsold us with QB Connector, but failed to deliver the same functionality as shown. Sales team showed capability of QB (Online only) connector integration, using many cost codes, and the product database with labor / material. Never disclosed QB Desktop connector doesn't have the same functionality until 1.5 months after purchase when implementing software. Implementation service team finally discloses can't use the various cost codes, but also requires user to separate all material and labor for all database items, causing double the time to bid projects. Procore management refuses to respond, sitting now for 3-weeks without any communication for resolution. Software is unable to be used, and can't integrate any ERP for budgets, bids, and completely useless. Beware of this for small business owners, Procore management will strong arm you, even when their Terms and Conditions state refund is applicable when they misrepresented their product capability, therefore costing you an additional $2k for software you can't use. They will hold out and cost you money each week, after being notified through BBB of compliant and refusing to acknowledge their own integration issues.

Buying Procore Was a Mistake!
It was truly awful. Their salespeople make you think you're making the best decision possible. The second they have your money, the whole dynamic changes and you're on your own. Good luck calling their technical support line. If they answer, you'll get a person who likely has never even used Procore. Procore failed at every single level and I can't recommend enough to go with UDA ConstructionOnline. It beats Procore in every facet and their customer support is a thousand times better.
Pros
Truthfully, nothing. I was so disgusted with the whole thing. We spent six months trying to get Procore's customer success team to get us functional but it was nothing but problems and delays. Multiple times per week we sent them messages with all the error messages we were getting and got a bunch of "We'll get back to you" type responses. Truly the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
Cons
Everything. For starters, I really disliked their refusal to refund all the money I paid them after complete failure on their part. We spent $20,000 and got literally nothing for our money besides wasted time and frustration.

Best software for Core integration!
Procore is great software to integrate all construction process. We can upload image files and PDF files to relevant location. The best benefit of Procore is core integration. I used this program when I worked as a QS. I can quickly chase up the programme and budget. Budget chasing and follow up the programme is critical for QS. Also, the uploading PDF function greatly reduces time for searching documents separately.
Pros
The best function of Procore is the uploading PDF files at relevant area. It helps to reduce time to searching for documents separately. Also, on-site workers also use this software with their mobile phone. Then they can quickly upload site photos or report builders working hours automatically. I could check the total finance directly through budget tab. We can easily compare the total budget and actual cost.

When we upload PDF files or image files, some times the system clashed due to the large size of the documents. It takes time to refresh.
